Not really practical they are designed to be trolled not cast. Theoretically ofcoarse you could cast anything with a hook to catch a fish however haha. Use a diver, down rigger, mooch with a 4 to 6 oz banana weight, ect

There I no leader, tie directly to main line, adding a swivel anywhere in the rigging would severely cripple any action the plug would give.
