The music, the ambience it adds to your footage, and the fact that you two are positively ✨GLOWING✨during the tour is so wholesome and inspiring!!! Honestly, I felt like I was watching Lawrence of Arabia in present-day, and how amazing that you visited some of the scenery used in the movie!!!
Thanks Jarrod! I think the glow was just the sun reflecting off the sand 💁♀️. We were in such a gorgeous place all we had to do was keep the camera rolling. Thanks for watching!
I spent 2 nights in Wadi Rum back in November. The weather was perfect, but a bit too coldish at night. In my opinion the tours are a bit overpriced and it would have been great if we were given more freedom to do things on our own. They take you to places, give you some time to walk around, and there's not much more added to it. The reason why I wanted to spend 2 days, was to do the tour on the 2nd day and on the first day I would just explore on my own. Walking kilometers on my own in the desert, I visited one of the canyons and some other rock formations, but I kept getting stopped by different jeeps, and asked where I was going or where I was staying. A bit too much, but I suppose they're not used to having people wanting to explore with no guide. When I finally did the tour on the 2nd day, I told them I wasn't interested in visiting the places I had already visited on my own the day before, so this was kinda cool because they had to improvise a bit on the route instead of taking us only to the places everyone goes. Also it was my birthday, and the bedouins threw me a party with birthday cake which I did not expect at all.
We celebrated Amber's birthday while in Wadi Rum too! In our following video, our guide definitely made the day special. I agree the tours are pricey and it was a struggle for us to explain we wanted to enjoy the camp and film instead of pay for another tour but I understand why they wouldn't want inexperienced travelers wandering around the desert by themselves. I wish we had the time to research specific things to see in Wadi Rum before arrival. We booked this last minute and unfortunately did not have that opportunity.
Its fun to watch you enjoying your experience! Cant wait to see Petra (because nobody goes to Jordan without seeing Petra). Im wondering if you are going to do any canyon hikes… Jordan has some awesome ones. I am staying tuned!!
Well.... we went to Jordan and did not go to Petra. We only had so much time and we chose to go to Wadi Rum and then head north to Amman and see the Dead Sea and other day trips in the surrounding areas. Petra is also not a cheap destination. But now we have a major reason to go back and explore more of Jordan!
Amazing! Thanks for the video. Are you able to share details of this jeep tour? I'm planning a trip to wadi rum but don't know where to start even looking for a good value jeep tour. This one looks incredible! Thanks :)
The video shows how we booked everything. The camps will offer jeep tours and take you wherever you would like to go. Airbnb and booking.com are good resources and you can communicate with your host before booking to see what they offer. Any other questions just ask!
We found Awad through Airbnb. Any camp you book will come with a guide and you can book all kinds of tours through your camp. We booked the cheapest one on airbnb and had a great time!
Great video! I am wanting to do a jeep tour in Jordan in stay at one of the hotels in Wadi Rum Village. I am not sure of transportation to the jeep tour meet sight since I was told no taxi or uber in Wadi Rum Village. How did you get from your hotel to the jeep tour meet sight and transportation back to your hotel. Any info or suggestions will help.
I would contact your host after booking to get this information. As you saw in the video, we took a taxi to Wadi Rum Village and our host picked us up from there. Your camp may do the same or offer a shuttle from your hotel.
Can u please tell about the tour package you bought? And lik bit of your tour package?? Like whte did you buy this and how much the tour inclusives Where did you stay the night
We booked our stay through Airbnb and negotiated desert tours on arrival. All prices we paid are included in this video and the following Wadi Rum videos where we also give a full tour of the camp. We give a complete rundown of everything we paid for in our Wadi Rum to Amman video as we leave camp.
None of the trails inside Wadi Rum are on AllTrails (your comment at 12:48) - Not sure why, but the mapping team at AllTrails have never bothered to upload anything...
We took cash straight out of the ATM at the airport. Our host gladly accepted USD and Euro but you should take out JOD at the airport. Jordan is mostly cash only.
We have found Ryanair flights for $5 more than once! We booked this flight only a few days in advance. This was also still in the midst of COVID. It is possible airlines were a little more desperate for passengers.
Awad was a fantastic host. Any major costs associated with our travels are mentioned in our videos. The cost of the tour and Airbnb included our guide. We break down everything we spent in Wadi Rum on our final morning in camp before heading to Amman. Thanks for watching!
Airbnb was the only thing we booked prior to arrival. We showed up, met our host and discussed what tours we wanted to do while there. Everything was word of mouth and then you pay in cash just before you leave. Hope that helps.
Just one more suggestion, the guides are great salesmen. Do a little research into the locations in Wadi Rum you would like to see so your guide can plan your tour accordingly. Although we had a great tour, there were some locations we learned about later on that we would have liked to see and some locations we would have been happy to skip. Hope you have a great trip!
2 weeks ago I came back from Jordan after 2 weeks in this country. 4 Nights and 5 days in Desert it was my Best time. ❤
Jordan is the most fun and has a little of everything ! this is just a tiny part of Jordan you been to
WOW! What a great video. You look so happy and excited on this trip and the scenery is beautiful. Can’t wait to see the rest.
We would go back to Jordan in a heartbeat. This trip was a little more exciting because we booked it the day before. 😀
nice clip... love the Toyota Tacomas everywhere across the globe... they go FOR-EVAH!!!
Thank you! All those trucks were Toyota Hilux. I am sure it is close to if not the same as the Tacomas. They are for sure everywhere!
The editing for this was amazing! Can’t wait for the rest of the series. I’m living through you guys 😭
Thank you so much! Glad to have you along for the journey.

Those guys speak several languages including French ،Dutch, and Germans, the people of the desert are very intelligent.
I agree. You need to be intelligent to survive in the desert. They had fixes for every problem and helped each other when needed. Thanks for watching
Very nice video. The adventures look amazing! Stay safe
We had the best time! Thanks for watching.

Hi there loved the video, ..Did you book the tours separately or VN you do it on arrival?
Amazing! Thanks for the video. Are you able to share details of this jeep tour? I'm planning a trip to wadi rum but don't know where to start even looking for a good value jeep tour. This one looks incredible! Thanks :)

Does the camp price includes the keep ride and the host?
Ours did yes. Just a ride to the camp. All the tours are extra.
None of the trails inside Wadi Rum are on AllTrails (your comment at 12:48) - Not sure why, but the mapping team at AllTrails have never bothered to upload anything...
Where did you exchange your currency for JOD? Was it at the airport? Will the camps in Wadi Rum Village do it?
We took cash straight out of the ATM at the airport. Our host gladly accepted USD and Euro but you should take out JOD at the airport. Jordan is mostly cash only.
@@SOSASATSUNRISE Thanks for letting me know this. Were the exchange rates high at the airport?
Guys, how did you get an airfare so cheap? Thanks
We have found Ryanair flights for $5 more than once! We booked this flight only a few days in advance. This was also still in the midst of COVID. It is possible airlines were a little more desperate for passengers.
Do they take suitcases onto the vehicle?
Absolutely!
How fun! How in the world did you find this adventure?
Also, do we have to wait until next week to see the camel tour? 🐪
Camel tour comin atcha Thursday!
The internets.
I need all the details on how to do this.
We gave as much detail as we could in the video. If you have any more specific questions, we will be happy to help if we can. 😁
Sorry 12$ flight?! How?!
How much did your tour guide cost? he seems really good
