I saw this video and soon after bought a pair of these. They are very nice for the price and I am glad the built in fx are not married to color patterns as some cheap lights do. I did not have any expectations for the warm white LEDs but I have found the beams to be very nice with fog. They have a cool vintage club feel from the old halogen days.
Hi Travis....you couldn't have mirrored my comments more exactly. I was looking for a decent wash to augment my movers...was considering the JMAZ 50/50 when I stumbled on these...half the price, but nearly all the functions, and a better mounting system. I mounted them vertically to my column array speakers and the fit is perfect. I messed around with the 5 channel, 14 channel, and briefly with the 75 channel before I settled on using the 12 channel mode....made some very cool blend scenes for slower dances, and built 7 or 8 different scene chase patterns for the faster dances. You're spot on with the warm-white comments...the 12 degree angle isn't the best, but for an occaisional effect (blinder) they do work okay. Probably my only other gripe is the RGB wash doesn't throw super far (nothing like the Wash FX or anything like that), but for eye candy, versatility, price, and for relatively a short time programming, they're a great addition to my light show. Have a great rest of your season!
I have 2 of these after finding a demo unit at Guitar center that they refused to sell me. They are really awesome lights especially when properly configured in soundswitch as a multi cell.
Very cool light! But I want a plug n play, with sound active, and a remote to change things. Bummed this doesn't come with a remote. You're right, you don't want it going nuts the entire night.......slow dancing to strobing, not good LOL Oh well, I'll keep looking for that next dance light. Ready for something new.
Hi, I just purchased 2 units and I am having difficult time understanding DMX control for these lights. I have a 192 channel DMX controller. Is there a way to map the DMX controller to the automated programs or sound activated programs. For example is there a map to turn on AU 33 Ty03, directly from the DMX controller or SOU4, Show 32. I am just picking out two preset programs that I would like to control through the DMX controller without having to program various scenes and chases. Your video hinted that there is a way to do this. I just can't figure it out. Would appreciate any help. I think that if you could show one auto mode, I could pick up the rest of the mapping/programming. thanks for your help. Unfortunately, there are not enough videos on this subject. I'm a DJ not a lighting expert, obviously. Got to be a better way to control the lights other than manually changing the different auto modes or sound modes. Thanks for your help!
I would like to ask a question, in this video it says that they are build-in shows. Are you cycling through them with you DMX controller in this video? Or is there one that does them all? What does it look like without a dmx controller?
I just tried out the 5 sound modes. Sound mode 3 "sh18" seems to have a problem. I really like all the lights pulsing to the beat but after a song or 2 it changes to chasing, same as "SH19" and will not return to the pulsing that I like. Can you confirm this? Maybe i have a malfunctioning unit.
I use the lightkey, I am having configuring it to the software. Are there any things we need to know to get it using DMX? And what software do you use?

Correct. No remote. The only bad thing about the light really. You can run it in auto modes or sound active, but you would have to physically turn the show on.
Here’s my thoughts on them after having them awhile. The construction is pretty sturdy but fairly cheap. For the price definitely adequate. Standard chines light menu system, no surprise. 75 channel mode is higher than other lights with identical leds. Soundswitch now has this fixture and controls it well. If you set it as a wash it will only use the colored leds which is great. If you use the whites you’d better have some room because they are focused and BRIGHT! You can program them down but it’s a pain. Overall I like them. I’ll bring them out for parties and such but they’ll stay at home I think for weddings and more formal events.
@@cduemig1 hey, so im trying to figure out the soundswitch controls, but no matter what I set them as, i only get the colored leds how do I toggle the strobes and the 12 big leds?
@@tikigonewild I played with it a bit. Soundswitch controlled them like washes only scripting the colors. That might be because I don’t have high impact settings for autoscript. what lighting truss do you use and how do you mount them
Are you using these in your setup? If so, how have they held up?
I just got one and they are bright and awesome!!!
On the light show you just show us. How many channels did you use to controll the dmx? 5ch or 12ch
I have 4 of these but have not used with DMX due to not having a profile for ADJ's MYDMX software. What are you using to control them via DMX.

press confirm key hold for 3-5 seconds to adjust effect
Yes I know the problem is the effect changes by itself after selecting sh18

Will a dimmer pack work with them to reduce brightness if I didn't want to control with DMX?

you said using DMX 5 channel mode, what is your controler ?
Hi, how did you mount yours vertically? Do you have a lighting mount you would recommend for these?
Seems as though dude doesn't respond. Too bad, I was wondering the same thing.
What kind of case do you use to move these lights around for your gigs?
I put two in each with clamps on, fits perfect.

Does it have a slip on diffuser? To soften
Hi Travis, Do you know if these lights can be connected to the Lightkey software? thanks
Support DMX512 can be used, to do their own light library file
Hey I'm from India... How can i order this??? Can u please guide
What exact o clamp are you using to mount? All the ones Ive tried so far are too big in diameter for the speaker poles
I'm using the ADJ O-Clamps, but the speaker stands I use are wider in diameter until it gets to the speak hole section.
Is there a showxpress profile?

The same from what I can tell. It's definitely bright. I'm using four of them at weddings.
