Ive never lived in Paris and it’s possible that it doesn’t get very cold because of some environmental conditions or the landscape around it but I live right next door in Germany and all these outfits would be much too cold for the winter here (which is usually around 0 degrees Celsius). Would be interesting if someone talked about actual winter fashion that is stylish and still holds off more than a cold breeze.
I think that you need to take under consideration the fact that most of the day- you're not outside, but in an office for example. The metro is also not as cold because so many people are cramped in one place. If you're going to spend all day outside- then it's best to wear warmer clothes. Otherwise wear what you want and add a really warm coat and boots.
Exactly, in Poland we have around 0 celsius now (still a mild winter temperature as it can get down to -15 easly) and I would freeze my ass off in all of that silk (wool coat concidered)
it does get very cold! in fact, don't go to Paris in winter dressed just like that! it can be sunny and relatively warm some days but i would pack a raincoat and lots of cashmere!
These clothes are very stylish, but certainly not winter-warm! I would be shivering if I wore these light fabrics... especially the silk dresses. Very nice for spring and autumn, but not winter.
Thank you so much for bringing back Camille, she is the best fashion adviser I have come across in this channel :) I love her style, her voice, way of explaining her fashion philosophy -and needless to say she looks like a painting 😍. Just one tiny bit of a comment: this video felt like it had more of a Lilysilk ad rather than a 'Camille wardrobe' emphasis. I don't mind Lilysilk at all, it's just that I really found it so inspiring when, in her previous video, Camille walked us through everything she really loves and wears, from Uniqlo to Jonak and Levis. Either way, thank you for bringing her back, I could be listening to her all day! 🥰
Hahahah as a Canadian, the clips of her standing there in a very thin looking dress with a coat hanging off her shoulders, no scarf, no hat, no mits and it’s a “winter” outfit ….. 😂😂😂😂 (yes, I know it’s “Parisian Winter” but it just made me laugh).
I'm French and I can tell you that I would litteraly froze if wearing those! My winter outifts are more like a pair of jeans, a nice warm top, a long and hot coat with a scarf and gloves!! No way they are not freezing in those outfits😂
@@emilywilton yeah, I saw that one and loved it even more. It felt more "real". I cant imagine wearing the outfits from this video even in European winter, with rain and wind. But the previous one was perfect.
The more I watch this channel, the more I fall for... The beauty of Paris, the charming music, the relaxed elegance of the outfits... Sorry I can't choose one. I like them all! ❤
I love the boxes summarizing things! I look at her ideas as early winter and early spring. I have to wear parka and waterproof knee boots here in Missouri with hats and ski gloves to walk the dogs, with negative 12 Fahrenheit in the winter with wind. Some people comment about silk not being wearable in winter. I use to layer under heavy natural sweaters and find it breathes well and does not have the foul synthetic smell. I think the idea she has is great right outfit for right purpose and right person
Camille, you did an amazing job on this video. People criticizing you are only envious. You look amazing and your presentation of the outfits was perfect ❤
what tips do I see in this video😜: 1. be young 2. be xs 3. wear nude 4. live in Paris. Et voila No offense, dear Camille, I just envy you for these 4😂 You have wonderful taste and style ❤
I wear mine with a simple cream colored thin sweater from Rouje, wearing dress unbuttoned halfway down. The silk dress is so pretty and feels so luxurious
Thank you for deconstructing 'Parisian style'. I hear the term so much, but never fully understood terms like 'undone' and 'effortless'. Great video and lovely outfits.
Lo splendido sfondo di Place Vendôme, la preziosità dei capi e la soave bellezza della modella hanno contribuito alla riuscita di questo video, magistralmente girato....complimenti !
It is the weakest part of the video unfortunately.. and it's not about poor pronunciation but the monotony and automaticity of reading. The rest is very pleasant 😘
Love the striped shirt, too. I have it in the blue stripe also. Lily Silk has great timeless classics like this in the natural-fiber fabrics I need. Silk is fine for our California seasons, I just add a coat or blazer in winter. Most buildings here are very overheated, (75-80F) so silk is great for indoors, year-round. I love cashmere sweaters, but I have to wear them with an a proper top underneath, usually a silk shirt, so I can remove the sweater when I eventually overheat indoors, as I always do.
Unless your have a private driver, this is NOT a winter outfit to go out with in Paris. I agree with the comments said that the Lilly silk dress looks very cheap and nn elegant at all.
This first outfit is how I like to dress for our mild autumns and winters: a silk or light-weight wool dress for maximum comfort indoors, topped with a long wool coat (or blazer, depending on the temperature) for outdoors. The interiors of public buildings where I live are so overheated that I need very light, breathable clothing inside. The wool coat/blazer is enough for my work commute, or for walking to and from my car when I go out on the weekends. I love more layered looks, too, but I often end up carrying the layers around indoors, where I can’t wear them. I have that beige silk dress, at least if it’s the Lily Silk one, in three colors, love them.
What is the brand of the coat? I love it and it’s hard to find coats that button all the way up the front, my upper chest gets so cold in the wind. Scarves help, but a thick wool coat is better, especially if lined, linings help cut the cold wind.
I love the beige shirtdress, I bought it in the khaki green, too. The masculine military, or safari, style details enhance the femininity of wearing this silk dress. I also love how the A-line skirt cut is more generous, many shirtdresses are straight-cut, so there’s not enough fabric to cover my legs when walking (great for pear shapes, too, as well as my straightish one). Most of my clothing purchases over the last decade have come from Lily Silk, their styling keeps improving, and other natural-fiber brands (Quince is good, too). I love the trousers on you, but they would overwhelm my petite frame and I don’t wear black much. I wish Lily Silk would offer more colors, especially light colors, in their bottoms, not everyone wants to wear black trousers, dresses or skirts everyday.
I have the same type of shoes you wore, which are from CLARKS, a brand known for comfort. But I still feel my forefoot painful after a long walk (20 minutes +)
Is there a link (or brand name) to the jeans she’s wearing? I didn’t see those listed. Love this video! Everything is gorgeous and Camille shows it off perfectly!
Bonjour jeune femme. Yes, I am a man who has always enjoyed looking at a lovely woman wearing beautiful clothes. Is there a better place in the world than France for that? NO. Your clothes are elegant and classy. I am looking forward to my first trip to Paris this coming winter. I only travel in the winter to keep away from the tourists. I just want to be with Parisians and enjoy everything Paris and France has to offer. My sister who has been to France many times, and speaks the language fluently. She is helping me with my French. I will have no problem conversing with the locals. I know they appreciate that. When I have a hectic week, and I need some beauty in my life, I always watch your videos and the movie AMELIE.
