Wow! What a pure heavenly voice! Such masterful talent! Loved your version of this cute song. Wish it was longer. Now I'm off to share this link & hopefully find more videos of your very pleasant voice.
Lovely rendition of a beautiful old song. I’m an 82 year old Irishman now living in Western Australia and it is so gratifying to be able to pick up parts of our tradition music/dance on your programme. Just curious if the singer is a relation of the late Ruairi O Brolachain, RIP, former Dublin County Manager, whom I had the pleasure of working with during my career.
Eugene, I hope you are well. Ruairí was my Dad and it is lovely that you have good memories of working with him. Deirbhile ( not Deirdre as Tg4 has mistakenly named her) gives a lovely rendition of this song. I remember hearing Percy French’s songs from Dad growing up. If my memory is correct, we had an LP of Brendan O Dowd singing Percy French. Ath bhlian shona dhuit
Hi Eugene, I've since moved from Western Australia to Victoria, but I just wanted to say I hope you're living well in my old home state! The Perth Irish club really fostered my love for trad music. :)
@@deirbhilenibhrolchain7666 Deirbhile, I went and found your album on Spotify and it's sublime. Your rendition of Caonieadh Na dTrí Mhuire have me goosebumps again. Your voice is wonderful. :)
@@evigvandrare Awww thank you so much 😊 I have a newer album but it’s not yet on Spotify or any of the digital platforms but I hope to get that sorted out in the next few months. Thank you for your lovely comments.
A gorgeous rendition.
Clear as a bell.
