For the next time: You can prevent being stuck by bringing 4 wooden planks/boards, one for each wheel, and then drive slowly onto the boards, so you're not standing on the grass but on the wood. This makes it so much easier when it rains, because the trouble is to start moving. Once you move, rainy muddy grass isn't such a big problem if you are driving carefully.

Can I just say that your baby is the most beautiful boy..... he always seems so happy (although I suppose he isn't, we just get the good bits) but of course you just have to look at how you two just fell into parenthood and your chilled attitude spills over to Koazy! I am 70 and I love watching you two and your gorgeous son, you give me hope that the younger generation are more 'savvy' than we realise.... Keep it up xxx

My daughter and I love watching your videos and it’s so nice to see Koazy getting more interested in things and his cheeky laugh and smile is adorable. Also we see you stopped at our local Aldi store in Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire my daughter was gutted that she missed an opportunity to actually see you but was lovely that visited the town albeit “ in the sticks” lol. I’m so glad Connor is better!! I know how debilitating vertigo can be- my dad used to get it and we thought he was having a heart attack his first episode!! Then when I experienced it for the first time, I had to lay in a dark room for multiple days until it passed… it was awful 😞
I hope neither of you have to experience that ever again!! If it comes back and persists with a vengeance, I would look into trying a cortisol shot in the ear- oddly enough, that was the only thing that solved my dad’s and my aunt’s chronic vertigo spells!! ❤
I'm glad your better I'm 13 and for about 2 weeks, I got dizzy spells and the doctor said I have vertigo and I do not like it because the dizziness is very unpredictable and I'm glad Connor's better, lets hope that my vertigo won't last that long but im glad u r better

I think you are going to hold up really well in van life. Because when you actually commit to it full time you are constantly on the move, so your days will look more interesting. Van life can quickly become boring when you are staying on a campsite in your home city. In real van life you will constantly move around, and explore new places. dont let the "bad" experience here scare you away.

Omg Connor!!! Once my boyfriend and I were stuck in the mud, in the middle of the night, so he went out to push the car and I was supposed to drive it forward...so I put first gear started pressing the pedal and nothing..meanwhile he was out there pushing and getting mud all over him.. and after like a million attempts I realized that..I had forgot to release the handbrake. ...I never told him though 😆 to this day he thinks it was just really stuck.. we eventually called for help and they pulled us out

I know things didn't go exactly as you might of liked. However it was a breath of fresh air to see a true to life vlog, talking honestly about the struggles and how cramped it was for 3 of you!
I have watched another Family who went travelling with their 5 children in a Sprinter Van. 3 of the children are aged between 17-11 so bigger kids! Yet they tried to make out it was wonderful and that everyone had plenty of room etc!
However the fact they booked into hotels and lodges along the way, says it all really.

But you guys look like you made the best of a bad situation and I would try it. Although being stuck in the .us for hours is a pain in the arse, it could always have been worse. I have watched so many van life people and one good tip. Drive and park on compacted ground. Sinking in soft grounds is inevitable. All in all, quiet fun. I miss camping and such.
When I went camping in Australia in the camping site we would have access to bathroom and shower. So, we agreed to not use the facilities in the van so no one would have to clean it. 😅 Is it not the same in the UK? Most of them had kitchen too so we cooked our meals there too. Cleaned everything and got back to van. For me it was way easier and convenient. Love you channel guys ❤

It seems like it went pretty well other The getting stuck in the mud. But if you did vanlife you’d probably need a van just a bit bigger than that to comfortably fit the three of you!🥰

That made me laugh so much. A good trick for getting stuck is trying putting cat litter down in front of the tyres, gives the tyres more traction...although I'm not going to pretend I've tried it

It's a good idea to have gravel "small stones", to put under tires when stuck it helps a bunch.

You guys are so adorable. Always plan for getting stuck. You can carry some cardboard, strips of wood, or even straw (don’t necessarily recommend this but it does work).
