I’m 61 yrs old , I grew up with “ boys wear blue , girls wear pink . But when I saw Koazy in pink it didn’t even enter my head to question why . He’s warm and comfy that’s all he cares about . And besides it’s no one’s business how you dress your baby . 😊
So, if they need to scan you twice don’t panic. Sometimes they find a dense area and need to do additional scanning to make sure it’s nothing. It’s a common thing and having breastfed there may be some areas that are a little denser. Hoping for the best for you ❤
Good point! I had to have a scan and then a biopsy on my breast lumps. Also fairly routine in some circumstances so try not to panic about that either if you are told that you need one, my results were clear in the end but appreciate it can be so worrying! Sending love ❤️
Second this. My very first mammogram I had to get a diagnostic mammogram (more images) and an ultrasound and an MRI for dense tissue. My second one was right after I found a fairly large, hard lump in my other breast. We went straight to the diagnostic mammogram and followed up with an ultrasound. Also, dense tissue. For reference I am 32 with a lot of family history of breast cancer and genetic markers, not BRCA. So I get extra special treatment 😐 for anything suspicious. However, all of those things are normal and the doctors just doing their job.
The doctors found a lump in my breast 2yrs ago during a mammogram. I went back for another mammogram and 3 more sonograms before announcing it was nothing. I probably should have worried more, but I just hated taking the time out of my day for the tests. Just remember that the test are for your health and keeping it on your mind isn't going to help you any. There are other reasons, besides cancer, for lumps and it's more likely to not be cancerous. when I found a lump at 19, it was the scariest thing in the world, i know exactly how you’re feeling. I’m sorry you have to wait so long. Mine ended being a fibroadenoma (benign tumor) and I eventually got it removed (which was super easy). But they’re actually really really common in younger women, harmless, and have no relation to cancer. I just wanted to share because I wish I would’ve been taught about what different lumps in your breast can mean. Wishing you the best.

With you every step of the way Liana. I’ve been going through the exact experience since the end of January. You can’t let your imagination run wild. Rather let the facts help you know what to do next. For me it’s ultrasound and surgery. In the meantime I’ve kept busy with cleaning, tutoring kids, and walks. For me the walks are magic as you have to be present in the moment, your mind can’t wander too far. And bonus, you’ve burnt off calories! Sending you love and best wishes. 🧡🧡🧡🧡
He sounds like a great Dr and he is definitely doing the right thing. The scans are most important. I had a limb, mine turned out to be extra breast tissue growing. They did remove it, my Dr was amazing and said I was special, why because she explained it simply as a boob tail, simple just extra breast tissue. Which is normal. I've always had dense breasts but almost 2 years ago I found a lump -- long story short, I thought the same thing that someone was going to just feel it and tell me it was nothing but it turned into having an ultrasound, then my first mammogram at 34 and an MRI -- all which, thank God, confirmed that the lump is just dense tissue. All this to say that I hope that they tell you the same and that you finally get the peace of mind that you need. Sending you love Liana!

Seeing Koazy laughing, sitting up and just being a big boy, made me so happy I started to cry. The time you posted your announcement about being pregnant I had just had a miscarriage. I had a CT scan for a hernia repair. The scan went higher, they found nodules on my lungs and thru out the word CANCER. So, least they didn't say that to you. Smile, be happy. I feel it just might be an infected gland from the breast try. Stay sane, don't sweat it.
I have so many lumps in my breast due to dense tissue. I had an ultrasound because my doctor found a lump. Got an ultrasound and they said it could be cancer so I had to get a biopsy just 6 days ago! The procedure sucked, honestly, but I got my results back a couple days ago and it's just a condition I have that causes lumps and pain. Theres an 80% chance it's not cancer, especially at our age, so try not to worry. You always wonder if you'll be the one with it, though, so I totally understand the scary wait. I'm hoping for good results for you!!
All we can do is stay positive in that scenario- when I found a lump it took a week to get a doctors appointment then a month later I got it scanned and it was only a trapped duct and it went away after a few months. YOU’VE GOT THIS LIANA LOVE YOUUUU ❤️❤️
Liana, I've recently discovered a lump in the same area you describe and I needed to be scanned twice and had a biopsy performed (which was relatively painless) Please don't panic and let your anxiety take over, it is quite common to require two scans. When my results came back, it was that I had dense breast tissue which is very common. To be on the cautious side, my doctor has me scanned every two years just to monitor the lump. It has been 2 1/2 years and the lump has decreased dramatically. So please relax (which I know is hard to do) and try to focus your mind elsewhere. You are blessed to have Connor and Koazy. As for Connor, he is a wonderful partner for you and you can see his love for you and Koazy shows in everything he does, how he looks at you and how he speaks of you. You can tell he knows what a treasure he has in you and Koazy and it warms my heart to know that there young men like him in the younger generation. I will be saying my prayers for you and sending positive thoughts your way. Much love!!

Having been through this, it is scary waiting for the scan and waiting for the results but such a comfort knowing they are taking it seriously and making absolute sure rather than dismissing it, which I think can be the case with some other symptoms.
Through covid I had a lump. After having to wait 8-10 weeks on nhs my parents kindly paid for a private appointment and I got seen in two weeks. I had a mammogram, full assessment and saw the dr to be told it was like I had been in a car crash and had a seatbelt injury! My boobs are very big (40f) and I must have turned over in bed too violently and smacked them against each other! I had bleeding in my boob and it had caused a swollen node. I never even thought it could be something like that which just shows how many random things it can be. Hope you get seen soon, glad you got an appointment in the end xx
It's good that you got it checked. I have anxiety and can understand how nerve racking it is when it comes to anything to do with your health. But, it's most likely a milk duct that's gotten blocked (I googled)

I went to the doctors for a lump in my neck, I have bad health anxiety. The doctor instantly said she would refer me for a scan as she knew I would still be worrying. I also had the same bloods done which all came back okay apart from folic acid and slightly high liver enzymes! You have done the hard bit by going to your first appointment 🥰

GPs don’t generally diagnose anything when it comes to lumps and cancer scares, instead they’ll refer you onto the specialists that can best help you. And that’s great! Better to be in the right hands

Never, never, never accept a doctor feeling a lump and say it's fine, nothing to worry about. That is how young women are dying of breast cancer. You can't tell, just by feel, if it is nothing to worry about. A doctor can hypothesize, based on feel and location, that it is nothing. But they can't be absolutely sure. Always get the scan.
You will make it through this I know you will because I understand the pain this brings you. I am a very young teen and I have a lump underneath my arm and I try not to think about it and I have my family and my friends support telling me that I will get through this. You and Connor are the ones getting me through all of the pain I’ve been through and I love you guys so much. Just understand we will always be here for you if you need it. We are you support❤❤❤
ugh, people need to grow up. when i was 9, i wanted to paint my bedroom blue because i loved the colour and no one had a problem with it. its literally just a colour. its their kid, and its not like he cares hes a baby. and some parents cant even afford clothes for their children.

i think the comfort and safty of your baby is FAR more important then he color he wears, it didn't even dawn on me that he WAS wearing pink till you said something, times are hard, it doesn't matter what color the pram suit is as long as Babi is safe and warm, ^_^

Hey beautiful, you've got this 💕 I'm glad you went to be seen, I had a check/ultrasound and biopsy done and know that these things are difficult and nerve racking, especially with medical anxiety, but it's not as bad as it seems and the doctors are usually understanding with the anxiety. Just know you're cared about by many and I hope you feel it. Big hugs x And also, jam on pancakes is pretty good, but nothing beats pure maple syrup 🍁

As a mum of a baby boy I have 100% put my son in pink before he's had pink jeans pink tops and jumpers before he's almost 2 and not once had someone say anything I don't see the problem with it.. clothes purpose is to keep baby warm and comfy as long as baby is that it doesn't matter... all my love

Hi Liana. I to have health anxiety and annoyingly enough just like you, I found a lump in my left breast. I went into sheer panic, my anxiety was through the roof. I too was referred to the breast clinic, I had the appointment within two weeks of seeing my GP. You’ll see a breast consultant who will look and feel the area where your lump is, they’ll have a very good feel all around right up into your arm pit and the consultant I saw told me there and then it wasn’t cancer but sent me for an ultrasound anyway, I don’t think she thought it was necessary for a scan but she said for me to go for the ultrasound anyway for peace of mine. I then went to ultrasound room and saw a consultant radiologist who did the scan and was very detailed and explained it all to me. Mine was put down to breast tissue which is normal for me but has formed into a lump. I also told them I suffered from health anxiety and they were so reassuring. I did see your video before this one but I wasn’t sure on whether to write a comment or not but I’ve just seen this one and can see how nervous you are so I thought I’d write a comment because sometimes there can be a bit of comfort/reassurance in knowing what someone who’s been through or going through the same thing. ❤️
The history of what colours people wear is actually very interesting. Boys were wearing pink until about the 1940s when it changed to blue for boys and pink for girls. Hope everything is ok Liana but also just in case you didn't know, breastfeeding can change not only the shape of the breast but also the density/amount of tissue vs fat etc.

Just addressing the pink pram suit - I would have thought this day in age with the whole gender identity that people wouldn't care about what colors you wear but apparently, they do. I think it's adorable that he is in a pink pram suit!!! ❤My little nephew, who is no older than 5, has hair down to the middle of his back because he doesn't want it cut and he loves his hair in ponytails, plaits, and buns, he even picks out what colour hair bobble he wants to wear. He loves his rainbow clothes and will wear rainbow wellies, jumpers, tops, socks, and trousers. That is not what we made him wear, he has chosen it himself and it makes his face light up when we buy him something rainbow, it is adorable and if it makes him happy it makes us happy. Besides I don't believe in gender colors and we don't care what people think, they can dress their child up in whatever they want but no one has the right to tell you what colours you can and can't dress yours in. I hope the lump is nothing serious, please keep us updated, my fingers are crossed for you and the tests that you are going through 💜

Society/social norms always dictate what is and isn’t “allowed.” In the 1800s, all children wore white dresses, probably because it was easier to change a diaper and they could be bleached. In the ‘20s, boys were dressed in pink because it was considered a strong/masculine color, and girls were dressed in blue because it was considered a dainty/feminine color. The colors switched in the ‘40s. If you let others pressure you into adhering to the current, accepted social norm, then it stands. If enough people break the norm, it changes and becomes the new norm. 🤷🏼♀️ You do you, and do whatever you need to do to keep your family healthy and happy!!

In the winter her is south Africa well my dad is German so we have a lot of tradition but we always eat pancakes in the winter and I use to flip the pancakes when I was 7 but good luck to liana and I wish u the verry best and coner ur doing such a good father

I had a CT scan for a hernia repair. The scan went higher, they found nodules on my lungs and thru out the word CANCER. So, least they didn't say that to you.
Smile, be happy. I feel it just might be an infected gland from the breast try.

I have so many lumps in my breast due to dense tissue. I had an ultrasound because my doctor found a lump. Got an ultrasound and they said it could be cancer so I had to get a biopsy just 6 days ago! The procedure sucked, honestly, but I got my results back a couple days ago and it's just a condition I have that causes lumps and pain. Theres an 80% chance it's not cancer, especially at our age, so try not to worry. You always wonder if you'll be the one with it, though, so I totally understand the scary wait.
I'm hoping for good results for you!!
All we can do is stay positive in that scenario- when I found a lump it took a week to get a doctors appointment then a month later I got it scanned and it was only a trapped duct and it went away after a few months. YOU’VE GOT THIS LIANA LOVE YOUUUU ❤️❤️
Liana, I've recently discovered a lump in the same area you describe and I needed to be scanned twice and had a biopsy performed (which was relatively painless) Please don't panic and let your anxiety take over, it is quite common to require two scans. When my results came back, it was that I had dense breast tissue which is very common. To be on the cautious side, my doctor has me scanned every two years just to monitor the lump. It has been 2 1/2 years and the lump has decreased dramatically. So please relax (which I know is hard to do) and try to focus your mind elsewhere. You are blessed to have Connor and Koazy. As for Connor, he is a wonderful partner for you and you can see his love for you and Koazy shows in everything he does, how he looks at you and how he speaks of you. You can tell he knows what a treasure he has in you and Koazy and it warms my heart to know that there young men like him in the younger generation. I will be saying my prayers for you and sending positive thoughts your way. Much love!!

Having been through this, it is scary waiting for the scan and waiting for the results but such a comfort knowing they are taking it seriously and making absolute sure rather than dismissing it, which I think can be the case with some other symptoms.

Through covid I had a lump. After having to wait 8-10 weeks on nhs my parents kindly paid for a private appointment and I got seen in two weeks. I had a mammogram, full assessment and saw the dr to be told it was like I had been in a car crash and had a seatbelt injury! My boobs are very big (40f) and I must have turned over in bed too violently and smacked them against each other! I had bleeding in my boob and it had caused a swollen node. I never even thought it could be something like that which just shows how many random things it can be. Hope you get seen soon, glad you got an appointment in the end xx
It's good that you got it checked. I have anxiety and can understand how nerve racking it is when it comes to anything to do with your health. But, it's most likely a milk duct that's gotten blocked (I googled)

I went to the doctors for a lump in my neck, I have bad health anxiety. The doctor instantly said she would refer me for a scan as she knew I would still be worrying. I also had the same bloods done which all came back okay apart from folic acid and slightly high liver enzymes! You have done the hard bit by going to your first appointment 🥰

GPs don’t generally diagnose anything when it comes to lumps and cancer scares, instead they’ll refer you onto the specialists that can best help you. And that’s great! Better to be in the right hands

Never, never, never accept a doctor feeling a lump and say it's fine, nothing to worry about. That is how young women are dying of breast cancer. You can't tell, just by feel, if it is nothing to worry about. A doctor can hypothesize, based on feel and location, that it is nothing. But they can't be absolutely sure. Always get the scan.

I am a very young teen and I have a lump underneath my arm and I try not to think about it and I have my family and my friends support telling me that I will get through this. You and Connor are the ones getting me through all of the pain I’ve been through and I love you guys so much. Just understand we will always be here for you if you need it. We are you support❤❤❤
ugh, people need to grow up. when i was 9, i wanted to paint my bedroom blue because i loved the colour and no one had a problem with it. its literally just a colour. its their kid, and its not like he cares hes a baby. and some parents cant even afford clothes for their children.
Don't panic my love! A friend of mine had a similar thing and it was just a fatty lump. Nothing nasty. I'm sure it'll all be fine ❤❤❤

i think the comfort and safty of your baby is FAR more important then he color he wears, it didn't even dawn on me that he WAS wearing pink till you said something, times are hard, it doesn't matter what color the pram suit is as long as Babi is safe and warm, ^_^

Hey beautiful, you've got this 💕 I'm glad you went to be seen, I had a check/ultrasound and biopsy done and know that these things are difficult and nerve racking, especially with medical anxiety, but it's not as bad as it seems and the doctors are usually understanding with the anxiety. Just know you're cared about by many and I hope you feel it. Big hugs x

As a mum of a baby boy I have 100% put my son in pink before he's had pink jeans pink tops and jumpers before he's almost 2 and not once had someone say anything I don't see the problem with it.. clothes purpose is to keep baby warm and comfy as long as baby is that it doesn't matter... all my love

Hi Liana. I to have health anxiety and annoyingly enough just like you, I found a lump in my left breast. I went into sheer panic, my anxiety was through the roof. I too was referred to the breast clinic, I had the appointment within two weeks of seeing my GP. You’ll see a breast consultant who will look and feel the area where your lump is, they’ll have a very good feel all around right up into your arm pit and the consultant I saw told me there and then it wasn’t cancer but sent me for an ultrasound anyway, I don’t think she thought it was necessary for a scan but she said for me to go for the ultrasound anyway for peace of mine. I then went to ultrasound room and saw a consultant radiologist who did the scan and was very detailed and explained it all to me. Mine was put down to breast tissue which is normal for me but has formed into a lump. I also told them I suffered from health anxiety and they were so reassuring.
I did see your video before this one but I wasn’t sure on whether to write a comment or not but I’ve just seen this one and can see how nervous you are so I thought I’d write a comment because sometimes there can be a bit of comfort/reassurance in knowing what someone who’s been through or going through the same thing.

The history of what colours people wear is actually very interesting. Boys were wearing pink until about the 1940s when it changed to blue for boys and pink for girls. Hope everything is ok Liana but also just in case you didn't know, breastfeeding can change not only the shape of the breast but also the density/amount of tissue vs fat etc.

I did not even, notice the pink but have a saying for this. Real men pray and Real men can wear pink, they look great in it. They are confident in it, because they are not thinking about it! Just addressing the pink pram suit - I would have thought this day in age with the whole gender identity that people wouldn't care about what colors you wear but apparently, they do. I think it's adorable that he is in a pink pram suit!!! ❤My little nephew, who is no older than 5, has hair down to the middle of his back because he doesn't want it cut and he loves his hair in ponytails, plaits, and buns, he even picks out what colour hair bobble he wants to wear. He loves his rainbow clothes and will wear rainbow wellies, jumpers, tops, socks, and trousers. That is not what we made him wear, he has chosen it himself and it makes his face light up when we buy him something rainbow, it is adorable and if it makes him happy it makes us happy. Besides I don't believe in gender colors and we don't care what people think, they can dress their child up in whatever they want but no one has the right to tell you what colours you can and can't dress yours in.

If you let others pressure you into adhering to the current, accepted social norm, then it stands. If enough people break the norm, it changes and becomes the new norm. 🤷🏼♀️

In the winter her is south Africa well my dad is German so we have a lot of tradition but we always eat pancakes in the winter and I use to flip the pancakes when I was 7 but good luck to liana and I wish u the verry best and coner ur doing such a good father
