I like this content of yours! Amazing! The alignment is super easy with the built-in features and I've been able to get perfect cuts every time. The 40 watt power is also really nice, it cuts through materials quickly and cleanly. I'm definitely recommending this to anyone looking for an upgrade to their laser cutting setup!

aye great video it cleared up a few things for me. I just have a question though why won't my monport 40w run past 1ma when running material test and I knob up all the way on machine and it won't change between power settings when conducting test.

Hey thanks and thank you for the question. What does it read when you press the test button on the machine?

Never use tape, so many videos showing you should use tape. Been doing laser machine service for years. The problem with tape is the laser vaporize the glue and some cases can bond it to the mirror coating. Best to use clear acrylic, even at high power the laser will take a while before burning through. This way you can see the mirror clearly as well as the white spot burnt onto the acrylic therefore do alignment easily and safely without damaging mirrors. Works a charm

I’ll have to try this. I’m always open to new ways to try. How do you secure the acrylic in front of the mirror?

I’ve got the new one the mirrors are totally different but I can say my laser will not get over 10ma no matter what you do that’s about 50% power and it sux
