Thank you! This is exactly what we were looking for and glad to have it as reference. Our design is very similar but yours is perfect with everything we were missing!!
Thank you :) actually the number differs depending upon where we are using them . For example we need about 22 , 3 way connectors we use at corners and around 20 of T connectors if you are planning 11 steps .
Great video! I am building Golu steps following all the steps detailed by you. I am using 1 inch thickness pvc pipes. What is the thickness of the plywood you are using? Is there any specific thickness you recommend based on your experience? Thank you!
@@darendream009 hi, I used very thin plywood. Since u have 1 inch thick pipes u can easily go for 1/2 inch so they are strong. The problem with thin plywood is it might bend a little.
Hi, thank you for sharing a detailed video on how to build the steps! I'm planning to build one with this as reference. Can you please share what type of wood you purchased from home Depot? 0:36
Thank you ! Most of my dolls are papier-mâché or kondapalli dolls . If I am making another stand I would definitely go for a thicker pipe. 1/2 inch pipes worked fine for my dolls but for the last step as the pipes are long they were a little wobbly . And we had to add a clamp to the wall To keep it stable. Weight wise it’s not a problem. Hope it’s helpful
I mostly have plaster of paris and kondapalli dolls. If I am making another stand, I would surely go far thicker pipes. Though they could take the weight, they were weak and shaky as the length increased. We had to clamp the last pipe to the wall to keep it sturdy.
Hi , yes they will slightly change the dimension so we cut the plywood after we completed the stand. Basically, we just gave a little extra room for the planks , like 1/2 inch or so.
Wow looks very neat and thanks for this idea
Most welcome 😊
Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Well explained and a great idea to split up the steps.
Thank you so much

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Exactly the tutorial I was looking for🙏🙏
I am happy to know that the video is helpful 🙏
Super ❤
Excellent excellent excellent! Just what I am looking for. Appprox how many connectors (each shape) did you use for the 11 steps?

Hi, thank you! It’s plywood… just look for the thickness which can hold your dolls
How did you drape the steps
@@dcj7368 it’s just a flat long cloth all the way
Great idea! How light are your dolls? I have a few older mud ones that I'm wondering if they would add up to too much.

Thank you for the details. With 1/2 inch pipe were you able to place all clay dolls or more were mesh dolls?

Hi can the golu padi withstand weight of mud dolls?
@@lakshmirengarajan6939 if you use thicker pipes it will surely withstand. I would go for 1 inch pipe, just check and get the stronger ones
Ok 1 inch pipe thickness will suffice?
Also the connector should also be bought based on the thickness of the pipe ryt?
@@lakshmirengarajan6939 yes , that’s correct. When u purchase check the strength of the pipe and purchase. Connectors should be same size also
Hi, Does the connectors increased your actual dimensions ? How did you compensate the extra inches in connectors?

Hi vidya do you have dimensions of bottom padis
I’m just need to build one like the smaller one
Hi, the bottom one is 4 inch high all the rest are 10 inch high,
