Since your review on them from a couple years ago I've been on the hunt for Velvet the Pencil and finally found it in store on a trip to Dubai (yes, I specifically hunted down a drugstore after I found that Bourjois was stocked in the region). Omg! My friends and I used to play with essence lip glosses back in high school because they did the same thing as the revlon kiss glow lip oil. 😂 this brings back memories haha

Ohhhh yeah, the Maybelline liquid lipsticks (in the very rectangular tubes) do that weird static drop thing too. So weird. I’ve always wondered how that happens.
I feel like number 5 is similar to a lipstick you were trying to find a dupe for/replace a while back when a bunch of people recommended a Dose of Colors shade that was actually a bit too purple. I wish I could remember what lipstick that was.

Passionfruit isn't nearly as big in the US as it is in Australia. Americans think its an exotic fruit, but in Australia I had a passion fruit vine in my backyard. So I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. (that said I hope Americans come around on it, I do miss Passiona)
@@KitschSnitch Blackcurrant was actually considered an invasive species in the US and it was banned for a long time. So that's why the flavour isn't as popular as it is in Britain and Australia.
this series is EPIC and I love it! I can't wait to see the grand finale with all those reds (its my weakness too) but at the same time I don't want it ends because: it's too funny, inspire me to downsize my lipstick collection and sometimes it tempts me to buy some hidden gem ...all at once!
I enjoy this so much! Did you ever try the maybelline colour drama lip pencils? Similar format, a little bit more creamy but good staying power as well. Orange drama is a lady danger dupe, but wears better :)
The crème lippie stix are wonderful, I don’t understand why they don’t make more of that formula… overall they’ve put the lippie stix range to the side, and for no good reason… The biggest flop from Colour Pop lip products for me is the lux lip glosses…. Such a weird patchy formula… The oils are divine, though, I have 4 or 5 of those.
I don't use the lip masks from Laneige, but I love the Lip Glowy Balms and I'd lose my freaking mind if they came out with a passionfruit flavour. Do the Revlon lip oils smell like anything? I'm intrigued by them, but not if they have a super sweet vanilla scent.
There are some pros to the CP one... since it doesn't set then it can be moved around a bit more on the lips if it's looking patchy, and it will stay hydrating longer. I would say try one if you like a shade and are placing a CP order, but from my limited experience, you get a better result from the darker/more pigmented shades :)

I have a passionfruit vine growing on my balcony haha. Another flavour/scent that the US is lagging on is blackcurrant! They are missing out!

Yeah I think CP have put aside some of their best formulas just to make people try newer things… that aren’t as good!
I find it hard to think of the Bourjois brand as drugstore. Why? From 1990-92 I was buying Bourjois in David Jones.
The Urban Decay Hi-Fi shine gloss does the same thing as the Revlon glow oil. Im not sure what property makes them do that honestly.

How do the Colourpop Lux lips you talked about compare to the Kaleidos lip lab clay lips?
They look similar but the CP ones don't set, but the Kaleidos ones do. So there is no transferring and minimal fading with Kaleidos
