This song always reminds me of my nephew Brian Kombe Kithi who died in Feb 2022. He sang this song even on his ailing hospital bed till death came for him 😢. It was so 😭😭. Dance with the angels son coz you saw your death coming and dedicated your life to God. I miss you so much son 😭😭😭😭

Mwalimu was such a rare talent who revolutionized music. Was introduced to Kurasini in 1998 and I have never stopped loving their music. Had to cover a thousand kilometers to go and see their live performance in Dar es Salaam.

I think that's a bit unwise of you to say so...the reverse can be said and solidly so, Ambassadors of Christ has never adopted the style of Kurasini of Tanzania
Your statement seems to imply that Kurasini, is the standard of good music, and Ambassadors sing the wrong thing, and that is not true because your reasoning is the same as these guys who shove classical music down people's throats as doctrinal truth about the right music...
However God says something different: Paul in Acts 17: 26-30 says an interesting point, that God made all people different by His own wisdom, and for Him, and seeks that in all our weaknesses manifested in our differences, we will search for God albeit haply, and find Him, because in every system and culture, the same blood runs in all peoples, and thus the same fundamental truth principles apply. The Psalmist speaks time and time again about being the maker and lover of all things beautiful, and beauty isn't found in things being the same, but in the differences-Gaither vocal band speaks something powerful in their song 'Love can turn the world,' saying it's the same God who made all people in all their colors and sizes because He knows what a little tan can do. Even Paul in Romans talks about the unity of the church in 1 Cor 12 by emphasizing the differences in body organs-why you ask, unity is not uniformity.
So really, if we think slooooow, you realize that the two choirs have different composers, who have undergone different circumstances that have shaped their thinking around things, who come from different cultures, therefore their output of work will be different. Of course, from the lesson study guide for one of the quarters in 2020, 'The Bible and how to interpret it', it should be the second quarter, one of the weeks dealt with what affects our experience with God and our interpretation of the Bible- experience, culture and a few things were highlighted, however one thing was lifted up, that the truth and the Spirit of God should be the ultimate reason scale. In a sense, if we were to judge anyone, any singer, any preacher, any choir, the truth not our preferences should be the scale we use, and of course all the grace we have been given should be shown in our judgement because we ain't any better, and the truth is if we would be given the job to compose, arrange and produce the same music, only God knows.
For Ambassadors and Kurasini and every other adventist choir to sing the same thing would only be a tragedy, but it will also mean, each one of these choirs and singers loose their identity and unique experience and take up one way of thinking around the same thing basically selling themselves out-that is called slavery and colonialism, but in theological language, Ellen White speaks of such a kind of people in steps to Christ as 'mere automatons.'
This is my point really:
Different doesn't equate to bad or wrong- and once that truth sinks in, tribalism, racism and such hatred against fellow humans for just them being them will cease.
The only standard we have is Christ, and His truth, not our feelings about things.
Loving one thing more should not equate hating the other
Unity is not really uniformity
We need the differences for life, there is not beauty in 'sameness' unless that is perfecting the character of Christ...there's just a lot
And now since truth is the standard, are Kurasini and ambassadors both singing the truth, yes, we're different and so we will like one than the other, and it's okay, so long it doesn't translate to talking down the other. If we let truth be our guide, then if there's any excesses and deviations from the truth, for any choir or person, that we can raise it up, but with prayers and humility as well for only that way is God's way.
Otherwise, we have been greatly blessed as adventists for the music we have, we should take advantage of how the truth we have is brought out differently by all these people to learn more about our God instead of playing pharisees.
Besides the devil is against us, the world is against us, do we really need to fight against ourselves as well-we're family bana, and let us treat each other so, escpecially when differences arise and people make mistakes otherwise our claim to have God as our Father will not stand

Am not an adventist but Kurasini songs always uplift my heart.I feel near to the feet of our God.I will miss Mr Kibaso in person.I have never missed their presence as long as they come to Kenya to spread the work of God.I was with the choir last year at Mathare North sda camp meeting.The teacher seemed jovial not knowing is the last time to see him.Will miss him.RIP teacher
