I had a 1978 T140V (mfg in 1977) that I bought new, and everybody would pull up next to me and say "Nice restoration." It was easy to work on ... good thing too. After about 30,000 miles it really began to vibrate. It seems that the tiny cam followers were all losing metal where they rode on the cams. The cams had suffered no apparent damage though. Sold it at 36,000 miles for a 1975 Laverda 3C with only 10,000 miles; big step up!
