    I have both office and date. Jeremy runs discounts pretty often 50% off or buy one get 2. Both fragrances project and are long lasting. I do prefer office over date which is a little too sweet for me and i believe it should've been called club.

    Hi there Josephine, I absolutely enjoy your reviews and love it how you review fragrances with passion, honesty, and wholeheartedly.
    I agree with you 100% on everything you have said about the Fragrance One line-up. For the most part, alot of us will be deterred to purchase Frangrance One line-up due to the pricing. I have smelt both of Office and Date for Men, and I got to admit it's not an overall bad fragrance per say but definitely not worth it's price tag. For around the same price that costs for Office and/or Date for men, I would prefer to spend it on niche fragrances such as Aventus Creed, Aventus Green Irish Tweed, PDM Herod or even multiple bottles of my own personal favourite Acqua Di Gio Profumo.
    Also on the side note, Jeremy's biggest sellers of the Office and Date for Men which were unsurprisingly the 10ml sizes. He had increased the prices of the 10ml sizes in which he openly admitted due to the popularity of it

    • @jusderose
      @jusderose  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great to read about your opinion. I didn't know he increased his prices of the 10mls... that's a little cheeky. I also just noticed that Date was an extrait which explains the jump in pricing!

    Hello there!
    Just wondering, would you recommend Dior Mitzah/Ambre Nuit to a date? What are your thoughts on these and on amber as a note in general?

    • @jusderose
      @jusderose  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gabriel, I wish I could help but alas I don't know these two fragrances very well.. I'm not a huge huge fan of ambery fragrances, especially those that are quite resinous but this is just a personal taste. I don't see an issue wearing such a fragrance on a date though, as the sweet balmy side of amber can be quite addictive and sensual.

    • @thejuiceloosener150

    Hi Josephine
    An honest review, I like it very much 👍
    I was considering buying Office and Date for Man, but the cheap packaging and especially the bottle (I don't see it as a flacon) and the very very cheap cap (for example in comparison with Parfums de Marly or Amouage), in this prise range this is a no go for me.
    Greetings from germany

    • @jusderose
      @jusderose  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Fair enough. For some, the juice is the most important, for others it's a combo of the juice & packaging. Ultimately you to see what's most important to you and need to feel comfortable with your purchase.

    • @achimgeist5185
      @achimgeist5185 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jusderose The quality of the juice from a fragrance is more important and at a more cheap one I don't care about the packaging and the bottle, but at a expensive desinger or niche fragrances (well over 100 euros) I expect at least a nice bottle/flacon.

  • @bellesativa
    @bellesativa 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    This super organized, easy to understand, cleanly edited set of criteria for reviewing is amazing, especially for this particular fragrance. At the moment, I am struggling with the similar buy/not buy on a very expensive perfume but from a niche brand - Kyara ($1190) and Shiragoromo ($340) from the Japanese brand Di Ser. Kyara, like it's name has the specific agarwood rated Kyara quality as does Shiragoromo but in a more reduced amount, the two together would be over $1500 with tax for 2 bottles 33ml each. I think the value on something like this should not be against other perfumes but against actual raw oil prices and add to it the expertise of putting it together. I personally like to layer the 2 (samples of course) and how they play off of each other. These are not beast mode, which many niche lovers like to credit as sign of value, but that is by design typical of Japanese scent culture which values restraint and not standing out. But where is the price limit or reasonableness on a high end oud fragrance? Would be curious about your thoughts and hopefully a review if you've ever tested this brand.

    • @jusderose
      @jusderose  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Thanks for sharing the above two fragrances - I do love fragrance but really can't afford that price tag you mention! Perhaps if I become hugely successful, I may look into doing that review you mention!

      The price most likely reflects the startup costs from loans and paying off a major perfumer that gets their share from producing with their name attached.
      Hopefully Jeremy invests and becomes more self sufficient which would allow him to sell at more affordable prices in the future.

    Very honest review , however his line perfumes have crazy projection and long lasting.
    About prices, in perfumery Wich is "luxe industry" price is not an issue if you like a brand and his product, you just buy it and enjoy. On top of that there is a lot of promotions like buy 1 and get one free ,or 40% discount... Etc...
    Other than that and the subjectivity of a perfume smell, the packaging and bottle really need improvement, even cheap clones perfumes of the U.A.E. have amaizing packaging.
    So again ,great review and professional and on top of that you are very beautiful and got class.
    I will fellow from now.

    I find his brand/fragrances kinda weird. The concept is clear: a fragrance for each occasion/place. But what office benefits from massive projection? I mean if it's a massive office with no-one nearby., ok..but if it's massive chances are they'll be brand-ites who will go for the prestige/label like a creed. Same with Date. It's got the DNA of One Million. What's One Million the king of? The club. What sort of date is this? Do you want dinner with that cologne guy projecting massively? So, I think the clarity is good but the understanding of the demographic and follow-through of the scent profile to that environment seems very badly thought through. Also, if a date asks what cologne he's wearing...oh, Date. What? As I say, weird.

    • @jusderose
      @jusderose  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have a lot of good arguments. I thought the same as you for the office environment, and you know my thoughts on Date. It's true these fragrances are STRONG. But for some people that's a huge requirement for this projection and "beast mode" quality. You can't imagine the number of comments I get on this! This definitely caters to a certain type of demographic.

    This was a very thorough review of Jeremy's frags. I think this was quite unbiased, and is especially good coming from a woman. And with the pros and cons, you give the expectations to potential consumers so that they can make up their minds. If Jeremy sees this, he'll also be happy that you pointed out that Alberto Morrillas knew what he was doing when he produced this, because he took great offense (I'm not exaggerating) when other reviewers blasted the fragrance, and didn't acknowledge that it was created by the great (in his mind) perfumer, Alberto Morrillas.

    Office is the best and to be honest can be used on a date . The price in my opinion is bang on for the quality, bottle design could be better but wow the ingredients are expensive. £150 is about right when your paying £175+ for a creed because let's face it you pay for package/name . I payed £165 for a niche name and it dont last half the time this does. Just my opinion, I hope he brings out different scents in 50ml to. And his ladys version is beautiful 👍😁🤩. I would agree with your ratings on packaging ect but I would go 7 on price. Thank you for the review 👍and stay safe.

    Great honest review.
    First time watching this channel and I like how even if something wasn't to your taste you clearly said why as opposed to just binned the whole fragrance.
    Personally I couldn't care less about packaging. I don't wear the packaging round my neck when I leave the house so all I care about is the juice inside and atomiser. Your review was clear when you were talking about the packaging and rated that 'separately' from the juice. Which means someone like me can separate the two quite easily.
    Also for me when I pay a high price (I have skin that swallows up fragrance) I hate knowing I have sprayed a £150+ fragrance on and it becomes a skin scent in 40mins (think Roja Elysium for example). So I like projection fragrances, but I know a lot of people dont. So again really liked how you were clear on what you didn't like and did. Meaning people can decide if it is right for them or not.
    I wonder have you seen Frag-mental's vid where he had girls in a saloon judge date and office as a frag for their partners or on a guy on a date?
    This was even considering their high price points and not taking into account the almost always 50% deal. Considering both fragrances, especially Date is aimed more at pleasing the other half/your date its an insightful vid.
    So far yours and this one are by far the two most unbiased, informative vids I have seen. Thank you very much

      Thanks so much for your comment. I haven’t seen Chris’s review but I trust it must be great. We all have a different set of criteria when it comes to selecting a fragrance and place varying levels of importance. To me the juice is #1 in terms of if I personally like it or not (don’t care for compliments, it’s more of a personal/selfish thing for me!). Then packaging then performance. If I like a juice enough and it doesn’t perform well (minimum acceptable for me is 4h) then I don’t mind reapplying even if it may be expensive as I know I wouldn’t be able to find a fragrance similar to it elsewhere. Prime example is Gypsy water from Byredo. Appreciate you stopping by and watching this video. Hope you have a wonderful end of week!

    Thanks for your honest take on Office & Date . . . ( sometimes these types if videos must be hard to do !! )
    The price point, along with the lack of packaging "curb appeal", led me to believe that what was inside was possibly lacking also.
    Although, you can't judge a book by it's cover. . . . I decided to take a backseat on these offerings.
    Being in sales for most of my life, I have to mention the old marketing premise that some believe in . . . a higher price point relates to better value. I'm too much of a seasoned veteran to venture forth blindly in search of another "Holy Grail " ! Been there . . . done that !
    Thanks again for sharing your professional view of these offerings . . . :)

      Thank you Arden, and absolutely. Agree with you 100%. Nowadays value & luxury mean a very different thing today vs 10 years ago. Take Uber for example, less expensive than taxis (at least in the UK), yet offers great value and that feeling of being 'special' - having your own private chauffeur if you will but at a very affordable price. Now that's value and luxury to me!

    Great review, very honest and detailed, wouldn't expect anything less. It was refreshing to be honest. I totally agree, I dont want to spend 180 dollars for a niche fragrance when the cap crumbles in your hand. I feel part of the joy in fragrance is the presentation. Especially in Niche... this is also why you see reviewers talk about presentation as a key point. Also there is a reason why a lot of people dont find him or his channel helpful enough including me. Firstly the pricing of these frags compared to what we get! Secondly since the starting of my frag journey i also watched his channel but as u grow u learn to understand n value what is worth what and move towards that rather than sticking to one same thing blindly i feel. I don't think we should call them all as haters tbh. As my experience, knowledge, taste and understanding the fragrance world evolved i could see something lacking n mediocre so i shifted my gear. I find so many other channels like ur's or Sebastian's's or Marc's or Ashton's etc. are far better in my eyes. I can see though why mostly beginners and young crowd getting influenced by him some ways. Just my point of views from my observations throughout the years. Hope u understand :)

We live in democratic societies where Jeremy has the freedom to create his own fragrance and charge what he wants to charge. If he makes a lot of money, I am happy for him, as I have zero problems with Jeremy creating a personal niche for himself in the fragrance industry.
    Having said that, I don't own Office or Date for Men. Based on the notes, the reviews I have watched (many of them positive), and the price point...I'd rather buy a niche bottle. The fragrances seem very 'designer-ish' at niche prices, and I would rather purchase a unique fragrance from a niche house.
    Thank you for your honest review. Very well presented.

      @@jusderose Completely agree. I see so many people dump on Jeremy for whatever reason. He's running his fragrance channel and marketing himself and his products. My belief is that if you don't like him or his fragrance, don't watch the channel or buy his fragrance. I like his channel - it's entertaining. I just don't feel a need to buy his fragrances.

    Super Vidéo Joséphine. J'ai testé Office for men et je dois avouer que j'ai beaucoup apprécié l' odeur. Je serais intéressé à l'avoir mais son prix reste un obstacle. 😀. Pas encore senti Date for men mais je vais probablement m'acheter un échantillon. 👍

    Hi there - I know you did this review over 1 year ago… but how would you rate the juice out of 10 if you weren’t more into niche scents? I.e. how would you rate it against BDC or Sauvage? Designer stuff.

    • @jusderose
      @jusderose  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn’t change my ratings on the juices and still stand by what I said. They are good perfumes yes but at this price point I would rather get a designer scent 😊

    I own Date and had a sample for office. I agree, deciding to buy date instead of office was a mistake ^^. I dont really like Date but hey I got it when he out of blue put it up at 60% sale. Why i am complaining then? well i still dont like it haha. Might get office at cheap rates though it was definitely better

    Hi Jus, hope your well, i recently picked up the 10ml travel sizes on the bogo offer he was running to try them. So i tried office first and my wife actually made an unsolicited compliment which is rare tbh. She wasn't as keen on the date for men but didn't dislike it.
    I strangley could only smell both of them on the intial spray and then it seems i am currently completely anosmic to them. The second day i sprayed a few times before leaving for work as i just couldnt smell them! My wife then rang me later and said please dont spray like that again it was so choking! Yet i just couldnt smell it. Will leave it a while and try again. Agree with your thoughts on the pricing i think i would look at many other fragrances first at that cost. For me Office and Date only make sense with the 2 for one promotion. Big lv and stay safe x

      Thanks for your comment. How frustrating to be anosmic to them / any fragrance. I can tell you right now that everyone is probably smelling you if you're whether one of these fragrances haha. As you said, sometimes it's better to leave it to rest and revisit them later. Have a great day!

    Finally someone bold enough to give an honest opinion on Fragrance one. Lol. I just wouldn’t rate the actual scent ‘juice’ because it’s very subjective. Instead I would rate the following:
    Packaging: packaging is very cheap and similar to tester bottles packages. Also some $10 fragrances have better packaging so it gets 5/10.
    Price: Fragrance one is really expensive for what it is and I’m still unable to justify paying another $200 on a designer fragrance. Jeremy himself said it’s overpriced “Thanks for clarifying that” So, why should I buy something that’s overpriced and so it gets 1/10.
    Projection and longevity: Projection is good but not great and longevity is about 8hr. I still can’t give it a 10/10 that’s for 10hr+ fragrances so it gets an 8/10.
    Versatility: Based on the concept of fragrance one, It’s one fragrance for a single situation like date for men is just for the date Not for other situations which gives it a 3/10.
    Finally uniqueness: although I expected the scent to be very unique for the price, but it really wasn’t. Date for men smells like a mexiter of Ultra male and Armani code Profumo and Office for men is taking the path of Creed aventus and Dior sauvage so it gets a 5/10. So final score is 22/50. Surprised but I guess I shouldn’t be in a world with 17,000+ different perfumes.

    Only the packaging and the juice is minimalistic the price is premium.I think that honesty comes easy when Jeremy reviews other scents maybe he needs to take a honest look into his scents if he wants to be a true legend in the perfume industry as he rightly is in his TH-cam reviews.

    A very good and honest review. I have both Office and Date and I can’t say I have ever been more disappointed when it comes to failed hopes. Office smells ok, but is far from what it promised (6,5/10). Date is the worst. Just a cloying clone of Ultra Male (4,5/10).

    Bonjour Bonjour… very much agree about “ office fragrance..” not only but: very reluctant for thinking of what juice maybe, I would not and would not even think of placing of such with other bottles on shelf, that would destroy the whole image of all. Very very insulting especially toward his perfumer. His legendary reputation just really destroy in such bottles. Jeremy should take note from ENCRE NOIR ( juice, bottle, price… it’s no brainer). As always: thanks…. ss….

      Interesting fact on Date - I went back to the website this week and noticed that it was an extrait! It wasn't labelled as such on my bottle but now I understand why 1) it's so powerful and 2) why there's such a huge jump in price vs. office

    Good review...His cologne is way too much for me. I wouldn't buy Creed either because of the price..I like his channel...and his review is usually right on. I've read somewhere that like 80 % of men never even wear a cologne every day. Men buy fragrances usually to attract or impress. In my case I wouldn't want to spend upward to 100 dollars or slightly above to just annoy people. He uses a presentation and with good results. Some guy who dresses the part and who has beautiful women to rate a fragrance is just good marketing. He probably needs to take a second look at his products' packaging and design but perhaps reviews like this will help him.

    219 Euros is 367 Australian Dollars. Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle ( 100 ml bottle ) can be bought here in Australia for 373 Australian Dollars.
    One Million can be bought for 90 Australian Dollars. Shows you how expensive Jeremy’s Fragrance is in Australian Dollars. Australia is not a good market for Jeremy.

    I think he's price point is trying to make a statement where he have mentioned b4 that Aventus can sell such a high price for such quality n he is give a more affordable price comparing to it. He compares niche price and quality with his n ppl can afford it if they can afford even Roja Parfums.
