That is correct. I found those samples and made them into a drum rack in Ableton 😊
Pretty sure they used the Zero-G Datafile sample cds from 1991, because a ton of drum loops and stabs that they used are in there. Maybe it’s just a coincidence that one of the most popular sample CDs of all time that came out a good 4 years before Da Funk was recorded has almost all the samples used in Da Funk?

Original comes from a Zero G Datafiles sample CD. You can easily find and use it with Ravegenerator VST.

I get the looping thing and playing along, but how did you get that "Roland" computer app at the end to beat in sync with the loop?
Personally and for a very long time, I WISH that the instrument industry would get together and design a protocol where EVERY INSTRUMENT can be synced to one used as the clock source.
I know that a lot of devices can do this, but sadly, not all.
Unless, of course, MIDI is used, but even then, I know that with my keyboard, I have no way to sync it to my Yamaha. Both do have midi, but I'd love my Korg to be the clock for the Yammy and my Midi controller.
For clarity, I don't loop so much. I allow the Korg to be the "drum kit" with its different styles. I'm not at a level that you are at. Plus, sigh.... no space to have a lot of devices going.
If we ever buy a different house, THIS TIME, I'm making sure that there's a huge room that will be dedicated to music only.

Super ton cover par contre la 303 est pas vraiment pareil pareil, sur cette vidéo on atteint la perfection de la ligne de basse mais avec la vraie TB 303
