Isn't it supposed to be for protection, to keep this very kind of crap from happening to artists and performers? Cube became the very thing they were supposed to protect their people from. And they have done that MULTIPLE times. Soojin's case just happened to be the biggest of all.
“I-DLE”metaphorically means individuals together as a group. Six of them were so unique in terms of voice and sound, but work perfectly well together. It was a sad sad story that Soojin had to leave because of the fake accusations. And the group was forced into hiatus for more than a year, and members fearing that they won’t perform any more. Fortunately in 2022 the five girls made a glorious come back with “I NEVER DIE” (title track Tomboy), and later “I LOVE” (title track Nxde). Those two albums just made their popularity explode to a whole new level. And then of course, now Soojin’s back and that’s really pleasing to see, after all the shit that she’s been going through. Proud of all six of them.
All (G)I-DLE songs are written and produced by themselves. Except for the English album Heat, which is a contractual production of the 88rising. Soyeon is the brains of the group. She wrote and produced all the title songs and many bsides. Yuqi and Minnie also produced some songs. Lion and Oh My God are my favs musics from them. Lion was produced by Soyeon when they are in a survival show named Queendom. Soyeon created Lion to their final stage presentation. It was really beautiful. Thank you for your reaction!
(...and except for the B-sides of their first album.) Speaking of the first album... CUBE is not very good at giving their groups songs, so the better the group was at self-producing, the more successful they were. For (G)I-DLE, the story goes that their debut kept getting postponed because the company couldn't find a fitting title song for them. Soyeon got sick of waiting, and up and wrote one. Submitted it to the company, made a PowerPoint presentation, the rest is history.
Please do check out some of their solo music... 4 out of 5 *Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie* and *Yuqi* have solo MVs. *Soojin* the lady y'all hadn't seen before had a solo debut called *"Agassy"* that released last week. • I know people have recommended *Red Velvet* ... they released a *Killing Voice* yesterday that is INCREDIBLE.
Well, y'all have settled in on 3 groups I follow; so it's hard to be brief. What these groups (Mamamoo, (g)i-dle and Blackpink) have in common--even though their stories are very different--is strong women who've drawn flack and persevered. (Incidentally, Mrs. Coach works hard and deals with Coach. Respect!) For (g)i-dle, their company forced Soojin out based on dubious claims of school bullying. She's recently back as a solo artist. You will hear a lot about that. The genius of the group, Soyeon, was close to Soojin and has clearly missed her. To see Soyeon literally put Soojin on a pedestal, the video to watch is 'Oh My God.' Highly recommended but be forewarned: it's dark, intense and mysterious. Oh a comment about Minnie: like Lisa of Blackpink, Minnie is Thai. There are a handful of Thai individuals in the kpop industry. It is fair to say they have had a disproportionate impact. (Incidentally, since the departure of Soojin, Soyeon has used Minnie more than once to represent the epitome of an attractive woman in society.) Finally, I will note that there was a high-profile reality competition tv show in Korea in 2019 that featured 5 female groups (and one solo), including Mamamoo (then a 5 year established group) and (g)i-dle (then only on the scene less than 2 years, still with Soojin). The interactions are really interesting if you follow both groups. Cheers
Soyeon the rapper is so amazing. She’s my bias ❤ Soyeon is part of a collaboration with Winter from Aespa and Liz from IVE that just came out called Nobody. Please check it out 😊
Yes, please react to G-ldel killing voice. It gives you a whole new appreciation for each members voice and personality. Don't forget mamamoo immortal songs medley live!😊 I love watching you guys discover this new genre of music. I remember when I was first exposed to k-pop. I couldn't believe how much I loved it.
9:12 The last line of the song is from SOOJIN, she was my bias wrecker of the group and her voice and stage presence was the best, she premiered her song as a soloist on November 8, it's called AGASSY, please listen to it.
Coach thank you for reacting to Lion this is a masterpiece. Also Gidle are not just kpop idol they are artists. Their artistry is just out of this world. If you have time please react to HANN, HWAA and I burn album
If u liked Soojin (Seo Soo-jin) presence & voice , I suggest u to react to her debut song M/V: Agassy, which is very, very recent: 8 november was the release date, if I'm not mistaken(the video is beautiful )... She has an amazing presence, a wonderful husky voice & she is a wonderful dancer as well...on top of being simply gorgeous, of course...😍
Great reaction! Their killing voice is my personal favorite. I'd recommend listening to a few other big songs by them 1st, but it's sure to impress either way (My song recommendations would be Oh My God, Queencard, and My Bag)
@@CoachCastTV agreed! When you guys get to Queencard, I'd recommend watching "Allergy" and "Queencard" back to back since the message flows from Allergy to Queencard. Also with Coach's love of rock, Yuqi is the rock girl of the group, can check out "Liar" that's composed by her as well as her own solo songs "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Giant". Miyeon also has a solo album. Soyeon, Minnie and Yuqi being the producer line are extremely talented since they produce most of their songs. A lot of their B-side songs (especially those composed by Minnie and Yuqi) I enjoy even more than their title tracks! So there's plenty of content from them you guys can check out!
Good news Ahyeon is not leaving Babymonster, she still has her place in Baemon but she will not partake any group activities until her health is fully recovered, and she will join in the future👍and they still debut as a six members but the group will be of 7
In Korea, they was call as I-DLE and the outside Korea they're often call themselve as (G) I-DLE. The group of individual personlity members. DLE in logo is Korean leaned text is mean Kid.
They are a very diverse group musically and relatively all of their songs have meaning behind them. I recommend "oh my god" and "NXDE" from them next! They both have greater meaning behind them if you're interested. If you want a more of a hip-hop song from them i would recommend "UH OH"
You should react to (G)I-DLE's Yuqi songs 'Giant' and 'Bonnie & Clyde'. Yuqi (pronounced Oo-gi) has such a strong voice with the lower tone and raspiness. I think you both would enjoy it. The official music video for Giant is animated and both songs are in English.
I don't like many 4th gen groups, mostly because of the "lack of dedication" when it comes to music itself (although they dedicate themselves to the choreos in an exhausting way), but Soyeon, even with her little to none experience in music production, is a very dedicated leader and knows how to extract the talent of the girls. She uses their best features and works the whole production process, close with the producers (many times she is the "director" of production, I guess she even takes the credit in production as well now). She is the one who tells the girls, "do this, do that". She knows what she wants in her mind from the beginning... I respect her for that and I respect the girls for being smart and listen... Their company was in very bad shape, didn't know what to do, and at some point, they kinda gone "let them be and do whatever they want" after Soyeon and the girls "proved their value"... Soojin is missed very much...
They have truly impressed us and we really appreciate the talent we see with this group. We are looking forward to doing more from them. We also have their debut song posting tomorrow. Coach wanted to see how it all started.
Terrific pick! Glad you got to 'meet' Soojin, a tremendous talent in her own right. I really feel she shines in "Oh My God" where she plays a devil temptress (or at least that's my interpretation.) Not to take anything away from the members, but I really like the mix on this one. Not sure if Soyeon produced this one, but to me it feels like her style. And man some of the flows and beat drops really hit for me! Especially the 'bark' and beat drop after that Minnie high note! Deliciously decadent!
Hey love your reactions. well dont know if its hard or easy to recomend, since i find pretty much all their songs too be good, even tho they are deferent. but i would love to se a guide or some of Minnie or Yuqi songs and covers like (gravity, recurerdame, why do you love me, scared to be lonly, Bonnie & Clyde and giant). Sorry know it´s a lot, and my english sucks.

In any case, let them SUFFER the same way that Soojin AND many other idols who were with Cube have had to suffer. Those execs have screwed over a LOT of people and ruined careers of several Idols, all people who were in that company.
What is the purpose of a company, anyway?
This group has really impressed us! Thanks so much for watching!
(...and except for the B-sides of their first album.)
Speaking of the first album...
@@AmadanMath Impressive!
Oh, good to hear Soojin has a solo now!
I love watching soojin. She has this sultry characteristics and stage presence 💥Their MV Hann shows more of her sultry side.
Cheers
Haha! Yes, Mrs. Coach deserves props for dealing with Coach, for sure! Good info here, and we appreciate this great comment.
So Soojin, the one who's not with them anymore, actually debuted as a soloist not long ago, you can check her stuff if you liked her!
Sounds good. She is very sultry.
Don't forget mamamoo immortal songs medley live!😊
I love watching you guys discover this new genre of music. I remember when I was first exposed to k-pop. I couldn't believe how much I loved it.
We hope to film the immortal songs medley this coming weekend. 🙏 Thanks for watching!
Minnie, one of the best voices of k-pop ❤
9:12 The last line of the song is from SOOJIN, she was my bias wrecker of the group and her voice and stage presence was the best, she premiered her song as a soloist on November 8, it's called AGASSY, please listen to it.
My favorite kpop group with a silent "G" is "irl's eneration". BTW, Mrs. Coach has kind of a lioness vibe to her.
LOL, we have heard they are a "must listen" as well.
Coach thank you for reacting to Lion this is a masterpiece. Also Gidle are not just kpop idol they are artists. Their artistry is just out of this world. If you have time please react to HANN, HWAA and I burn album
Thanks for watching. We really enjoy this group. There is so much talent here.
Hope you will react to gidle more 🙏🙏
If u liked Soojin (Seo Soo-jin) presence & voice , I suggest u to react to her debut song M/V: Agassy, which is very, very recent: 8 november was the release date, if I'm not mistaken(the video is beautiful )... She has an amazing presence, a wonderful husky voice & she is a wonderful dancer as well...on top of being simply gorgeous, of course...😍
Thanks for that info. We'll try to check that out in the near future.
Lion, Hwa and "I do" are TOP 3 songs
Lion was is my top list for G-Idle song
Great reaction! Their killing voice is my personal favorite. I'd recommend listening to a few other big songs by them 1st, but it's sure to impress either way
(My song recommendations would be Oh My God, Queencard, and My Bag)
Thank you!
@@bdot_11 Excellent info, thank you!
NEXT G-IDLE SONGS (MVS)
- UH OH
- SEÑORITA
- HANN
- OH MY GOD
- NXDE
- LATATA
- ALLERGY ( 1 PART)
- QUEENCARD (2 PART)
Good news Ahyeon is not leaving Babymonster, she still has her place in Baemon but she will not partake any group activities until her health is fully recovered, and she will join in the future👍and they still debut as a six members but the group will be of 7
Fantastic!
Thanks for that info!
Thanks for the pronunciation. Coach was saying it wrong in his head. 😆 🤣
@@CoachCastTV That's fine. 90% of the international fans are saying it wrong. :P
yep❤ highly recommend react to (G)I-DLE killing voice #dingomusic ❤
Once again Great reaction Coach and Mrs. Coach! I look foward to see more!
Thank you!!
Oh My God and Hwaa are also really good songs. I hope you check those out.
I really like your reaction, I will continue to watch your channel. 👍🏻
Awesome! Thank you!
If you like songs with messages like that, Lion style... I recommend Nude (Nxde) also from G-Idle. It's a masterpiece
Girl who's has a bangs is from the same country (Thailand) with LISA.
I really feel she shines in "Oh My God" where she plays a devil temptress (or at least that's my interpretation.)
Not to take anything away from the members, but I really like the mix on this one. Not sure if Soyeon produced this one, but to me it feels like her style. And man some of the flows and beat drops really hit for me! Especially the 'bark' and beat drop after that Minnie high note! Deliciously decadent!
This was a complete masterpiece, in the video and the music itself.
Soojin just released her own solo album shes awesome
Great to hear!
You would be shocked if you know everything Soyeon does!
Love G-Idle
You should really watch the behind scenes of recording Nxde and the music video. I love your reaction keep doing what you’re doing much love ❤️
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much!
+1
This is my second favorite group soojin I miss her in this group but she just put out a new song of her own .you should check out really good to . SOYEON was also in another group before this one called ( 4 minute ) that got disbanded it’s another group you could check out to . SOYEON is there reason I followed her to (G)I-dle
Oh, did not know Soyeon was in 4Minute. Is that not the group Hyuna was also in?
@@CoachCastTV yes they was in the same group together. Check the song called ( Hate ) by 4 minute you might like them to
soyeon was never in 4minute? she would've been like 10/11 when they debuted
@@sophiae1887 you are right I stand corrected. I was thinking of another group thank you.
Yeah, (G)I-DLE is Soyeon's first and only group. She did debut as a soloist before it, and has lent her voice to Akali from K/DA; but she has never been in another K-pop group.
G idle are queens ❤
See Soyeon Rap in 'Bad Bitch *** Number ' 😂
Hope reaction gidle "allergy" & "queencard" two songs is story line!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Incleible nunca había escuchado esta canción de gidle pero es tan buena y me encantó el rap y la letra ❤ellas son unas reinas y les recomiendo allergy de gidle y luego queencard son dos mv unidos ,saludos y cuidense mucho ❤los quiero
Yes, this song was fantastic! Thank you for watching!
**CORRECTION : (G)I-DLE's Maknae SHUHUA was born on January 6, 2000.
Please watch BIG MAMA also in killing voice. They have amazing voices as well.
Jealously did not defeat Soojin. She was away for 2.8 years. Fans didn't know if she would return. Her Studio Choom Artist of the Month, Got It m/v is fire. She definitely has the 'It' factor. 😀😀
Hi from Ireland Great reaction as always, g idle now my fav kpop, gollow another commenter lead on solos, in thus group, try yuqi covering shallow, and just to throw an idea ball in move view to a Japanese metal group, babymetal, fantastic history they started very young, but absolutely naje sure your first reaction ifvyou do them is road of resistance live in japan, their live videos are better than mv
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Do gidle Oh My God next!
