- Danni reviews the all new Suzuki Swift Turbo GLX. The previous generation of Suzuki Swift was excellent, so it’s a big expectation on Suzuki to come up with something better for their new micro category car.
For 2017 the Swift has revitalised it's looks and really upped the benchmark on its design and features making it one of the best choices for the micro car category currently on the Australian market.
This 2017 Swift GLX Turbo has a small but mighty 1-litre 3 cylinder liter Boosterjet Turbo engine. It produces 82 kW that you’ll need to work the car up to 5500 revs to get. More importantly for a city car, the torque stands at 160 Nm and it is available from a low 1500 revs.
But some of the stand outs for the new Swift are the impressive safety features that have been added to some of the higher end models like the GLX Turbo.

Thought Danni was great. Very articulate and concise. She seemed to know the product details of the car well and delivered the information with ease and enthusiasm. Great job.

I own one of these babies since half a month and have to say she has all bases covered in this short review. The adaptive cruise control makes the car very comfortable to ride on the highway, the satnav works really well and the 3 cylinder turbo engine guarantees a fun ride. Suzuki's specs on mileage are a joke however, don't expect anything under 6 l/100 km if you floor it every now and then.
Can we get more car reviews done by Danny in near future.

Great review as usual guys. Just one thing - AEB is already available in this class. It was first made available on the current generation of Skoda Fabia as standard, and part of an option pack on the VW Polo 81TSI. The 2017 update of the Mazda 2 made it standard across the range. The Fabia and Polo are available with radar cruise control. The 2 is available with blind-spot monitoring, rear AEB and rear traffic alert, but no radar cruise control or auto high beam.

Over the years I have watched car video reviews on TH-cam, what saddens me the most is reviewer turnover. From Cartell to Motor Trend to Kelley Blue Book...I feel like I know the reviewers and the inevitably they find brighter horizons after a while or otherwise go on to other things. I miss Danni and Charlie and some of the others I have watched on CarTell...i wonder when it will be that Jenny or Simone and Amelia will move on.

ignis is more compact and have better ground clearance (i have the previous suzuki, my 2014 and front spoiler is easy to scratch against sidewalks and old parking rampes)
but for all others feature swift is better, better aerodinamics, better drive, better look, better interiors

sad thing is ... this all the safety features not available in indian version....
Shameer K And why they are not available? Because Indian government doesn't allow use of low frequency bands in cars. These safety features can't be implemented without this technology.
