Man, I wish they released the game with honor mode difficulty. For those who didn't play Divinity Original Sin 2 that is a difficulty where it's set to tactician, but you can only have one save. Save's happen upon a character being downed, and if you wipe your save is deleted. For those more clever folk, the save files are encrypted in your save folder to prevent easy cheating. Very challenging, and fun to attempt to play. I hope they eventually decide to put it into BG3.
Said encription mechanic should be available to all difficulties. I mean, yes, completing it on the hardest difficulty surely will be quite the achievement, but the essence of RPGs is exactly the [at least] occasional failures. Like, you tried and it didn't work out, but it doesn't mean everything is lost. Also, actually getting the rolls right as we want feels waaayyy more epic. This goes from opening a 10DC lock all the way up to that 99DC 'taming' roll. Just imagine
for shar temple, easy way to get in is to just create water and douse the flames from the lanterns instead of picklocking and disarming every trap. then misty step and walk across

The game is a masterpiece but not the most stable game. Some issues running the game in dense areas mostly in act 3, plenty of bugs, bad pathing, lagging for up to a minute between turns sometimes.

You can implement that game mode yourself if you have *Honour*
