I done this same job last weekend to a urban tiger, Had the carbs rebuilt by a reputable company, They set the mixture screws to 2 turns out, The bike does have a aftermarket exhaust can, It runs well but has a little dead spot on initial throttle, I balanced the carbs but the readings flucuate a bit whch i don't like, I haven't changed the plugs but i know they are normal type not iridium.
When removing the fuel tank, do you disconnect the fuel on/off/res valve from the tank itself, or does the valve come out with the tank? Any tips on the whole job?
