Kev I’m asking for a discount next time I bring my bike in for a service now I know you can do it in under ten minutes 😂😂😂😂, just came across this video by accident and looking at the bike you just serviced it was one of the bikes I was interested in but changed my mind at last minute. Just bought the Honda Forza as it made more sense to buy this bike for the sort of things I would use it for, as soon as it’s ready for it’s service I will pop down and if you want to do a video of it being serviced it would be interesting to see. For anyone who reads this comment I would highly recommend these guys I’ve used them from day one of setting up their business and I can’t complain about the work, very professional people that know their stuff and always welcome you with a smile you won’t find any better in Doncaster.

If I'd just bought that I'd now be thinking what else is f*cked on it? I wouldn't want my arse sat on it til I'd gone over the whole bike thoroughly, and I'd be expecting more nasty surprises in that engine. Hope the seller gets some karma comeback - what goes round, comes round in life.

Because the factory bars on this bike suck ass. Thats why they changed them. Why TF do you think? Not everything is about image. The Triumph factory kit I've seen uses a "pinned" bar that cannot be adjusted from the fixed position. Is this not that kit and can they be moved forward or back?

Hi, I came across your video after trying to research on why my Blackbird took 5-6 attempts to start in cold weather. It was not ridden for only 12-13 days. One of the obvious reasons could be battery but other was related to out of balance carbs. To my untrained ears the bike sounds ok. In fact it fired up straightaway after riding for 5 mins. Could you please share your thoughts mate. It's a 97 Carb model. Excellent video btw. :)

I done this same job last weekend to a urban tiger, Had the carbs rebuilt by a reputable company, They set the mixture screws to 2 turns out, The bike does have a aftermarket exhaust can, It runs well but has a little dead spot on initial throttle, I balanced the carbs but the readings flucuate a bit whch i don't like, I haven't changed the plugs but i know they are normal type not iridium.

Blimey, you didn't do even the basic research to understand how the cat comes out? It's a 15 minute job once the frame rail is loose. You don't need to remove it, just get a little wiggle room. Care needed with the 2 graphite exhause gasgets which can deform easily. Oh, and it's called an X-Pipe.... For others watching it's good practice to purge the old brake fluid from the ABS pump when renewing the fluid with the help of some software (TuneECU or Dealertool) via the OBD connector. However: all in all nice that you've documented the procedure.
