FROM. MEMORY. OH MY GOODNESS. This was positively BEAUTIFUL! I've been assigned this piece for my senior recital, and I needed to hear what it sounded like...this was a gorgeous example. The tone was lovely, very rich especially in the low register. The high notes were wonderfully clear, and as an ensemble the balance was fantastic. Very well done, I am thoroughly impressed!
well done - lovely interpretation. I feel it this way too. Would love to hear more from you. Leeza is a wonderful musician as well. nice feeling. Really, Ms. Beriyeca. thanks for posting this sensitive performance. Bravi!
That was really really well played!!! I love this piece, and it is this piece that got me into a university music school, but after I heard this performance I am ashamed of how badly I played. Not only was the tone beautiful, the technique is really good too. The phrasing, emotion, interpretation of this piece, etc... They are all right on! I am going to dig my score out and hit the practice room now...
SO beautiful! Your sense of the music is amazing. LOVED the andante section. Of course, the technical section was cleanly tongued and expressive -- fabulous! One thing I love about your playing is that the vibrato is PERFECT. Well contained inside the pitch and with variation. Absolutely brilliant.
I really enjoy your tone quality, it's very clear and it sounds effortless. I'm playing this piece for my jury this semester and watching this video has really helped me, so thank you =D Keep making music, friend.
This is a great piece that features your playing very, very well. Great memorization! You really knew the piece well and that came across in your playing. Your dynamics made the piece exciting. Overall, bravo!
I'm currently mushing my way through the major section of the andante pastoral, and if only I could get my top G at the end to sound even half as nice as yours. That scherzettino... o.O
I think it is very difficult to hear vibrato in the super super high notes..... but this is one example where I hear it. I think it is amazing. .... to be able to perform vibrato at the super super high notes without it sounding straight screeching..... incredibly.... super technique.
This was a great performance, I think you have great tone in your flute playing and it was a pleasure to listen to. As a flautist currently learning this, the only criticism I have is your dynamic range. In some parts I could tell you were trying to vary it, but overall it was quite monotonous, when the dynamic markings in the score are far from it. This may be a result of the recording though, in which case I take back these remarks.
Really gorgeous but you played with the tempo so much it was honestly hard for me to read along with the music. But at least I have an idea on how to play this.
It's very pretty, but it's too labored and the ideas not connected nearly enough. Right from the top, I want more movement. It's music, art in movement moving forward. Without the musical ideas being sustained, the prettiness of his playing makes no sense. Too literal. Needs movement.
Wonderful!!!! So full of emotions it brings you instantly in another dimension. Thank you so much

This interpretation of the andante includes everything my teacher has been telling me not to do. I love it. It's wonderful. :) :) :)
Beautiful, musical playing. You brought out everything I love about this piece. Thank you!!!

Wonderful tone! And the soothness of the 64th notes in the beginning is insane D: Nicely done!
I really enjoyed this - I liked your sound and phrasing, and I am not surprised you were a competition winner - congratulations!
I like your playing of this piece. So much. Bravo!

From memory...I know that amid the other wonderful techniques he demonstrates, that seems trivial to mention, but...I am nonetheless put to shame :D
we just need something to keep that right heel on the ground. ;)
