    I think you Guys made a good job of cleaning it . But to all the people who want to pick faults they said they are not detailers

    You’re using the wrong adapter on the end of the pressure washer, that’s for cleaning brick 😂😂 too powerful for a vehicles paintwork!

    • @Jamie-Evo
      @Jamie-Evo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      hahha i spotted that, they were using the dirt blaster for block paving, is super aggressive and if you have any iffy bits of paint then it will lift it straight off. Just subscribed though, makes good watching.

      These Focus RS's are of course expensive and specialised motors and most definitely not 'ten a penny'. The nitrous blue paintwork and sparkle is unique especially in full sun. Care and attention is the way forward every time. However, I think a good grounding would be an application of a good car paint protectant. Examples could be 'Supaguard' or 'Autoglym' which is applied over new or nearly new car paint in a professional vehicle workshop. It's proved to me and others to have been a genuine investment over the years and have found that you're likely to get your money back when the car is sold, because the car still looks as good as new. All the car needs is a simple car wash after and it's quick and easy, because the water should just 'bead off'. I've found it unnecessary to use perpetual on trend expensive equipment, materials, water waste and power every week. This is hard work and why should it be? Spending sensible cash on quality sponges, chamois leathers, wheel brushes, etc and a clean bucket of warm water (or two) with something such as auto glym car shampoo or equivalent should work great. It shouldn't cost more than £25 for everything to maintain the shine. Then obviously clean water to rinse whilst the car is out of the sun to keep everything tip top.

    I use three bucket method. Two for paint and windows and one for wheels. Also use pure water for final rinse.
    Don’t use traffic film remover either, especially caustic ones....some hand car washes use it.
    We have same Dysons, I find the older ones are better, the battery ones are junk and only last 7 mins or so.
    Use a detail brush and detail applicaticor on the seats, those all in ones are rubbish

    The black spots are tar deposits, use an iron fallout spray or if stubborn use a detail spray with clay. Don’t do what you did with a cloth as your scratch the clearcoat.
    I prefer clay, just use a 10p piece and watch it up in your hands, then apply some spray to the car and gently use the clay. I find the palm of you hand is the easiest, but keep the area wet using the detail spray

    Maybe I'm sad, but mines mint, I use vinyl & rubber care product on all the plastics & hoses, and polish the engine cover lol ...
    As an ex-valeter, I did cringe a little at the initial jet-wash blast, a bit too close mate ... any stone chips and that sort of pressure can lift the paint up and flake huge areas off.
    But, I know you're not that fussed as it's only a cheapo shitter to you, so thanks for the video it was enjoyable and entertaining as always.

    Makes me cringe I understand you’re new to detailing but just a few points that will help next time. We all start somewhere. Wrong Lance on the jet wash! it’s for patios and far too close! No old school sponges. Nobody uses a sponge these days scratch galore! Never use a jet wash under the engine bay that close. You don’t want to blast high power water around the engine bay. But other than that all okay 👍
