I didn't think you telling us about grandmother's passing and her life was morbid at all. I think it was wonderful that you celebrated her life. Thank you for sharing the story about your grandparents letters, that was cute. Oh, I also love book page pockets. So easy and fast to make!
I just want to thank you for doing the mass makes like this. It really helps with inspiration and it makes me feel like I’m journaling with a friend. You are so lucky to have had your grandmother with you fir so long and thank you for sharing a bit about her and her life. Thank you again. Catherine
What a beautiful way to remember your grandparents.. Their love letters! ..a beautiful history.. Doing a digital kit of some photos would be amazing in her memories.
Hello Tina, the pockets are delicious as is all you do. Yes I really love Pam from the Paper Outpost. My daughter passed in 2011 and this year instead of grieving I decided to celebrate her 8th Angel birthday. We laughed and talked about all the things she did to make us smile. It's the first Dec since she passed her daughters and the family really honored her life. Best decision I very made.💜 💞🕉️🦋💛☯️💙☮️💚
Oh Lala, I am truly sorry for your loss. What a lovely idea to honour her life on her 8th Angel birthday, turning such a difficult day into a precious and memorable day. I am sure that the whole family appreciated such a special day. Much love to you 🤗🥰 x
I really like these pockets... Great idea as always... Sorry about your Nan and yes to celebrate her long life is wonderful.. thanks for sharing, have a wonderful day.. 🤗
Thank you for sharing about your grandparents letters. Letter writing is a lost art any more. I have letters from my grandma that lived far away and friends that were really cherished. I like to write a letter to my family everyone so often along with a handmade cards. I lost my Mother in June and I am still sad but she had dementia and we lost her a couple of years ago, it was harder to see her slipping away.
Yes letter writing is another precious thing that has been lost to technology. So sorry about your Mother, it is very difficult to watch a loved one gradually remove themselves from us via dementia. X
Hi Tina am a brand new here. The story of your Nan & grandfather just brightened my day. She did live a long life and what a blessing. I miss my dear grandmothers. I've lost both my parents, my father more recently and memories do warm our hearts. I hope you share about saving pictures digitally. I was an awful failure at bullet journaling even bought Helen C's book trying to draw but hopeless though a lovely book. I had discovered Pam and found I like to tear paper & glue. I make a mess and have fun. So glad I found you and so enjoy your crafting and chat. Best wishes for 2020. 💕🌠
Oh thank you so much for sharing how you found your love of paper crafting, just experimenting and having fun is what it’s all about 🙃. Welcome to my channel x
What an amazing woman your gran must have been. 105 years young. I can only imagine the things she saw in her life. I am happy to hear you will be getting her photos. I purchase photographs at auctions, estate sales and yard sales. I just love them all. I can't wait to see some of the photographs you received.
Hi Tina, these are really cute and easy pockets. I’m heading up to my sewing/craft room to make some of these. What a dear story about your Grandparents. To live a life of 105 years is quite remarkable and should be celebrated as you did. She is in a happy place with your Grandfather. I can’t wait to see what digital kits you make with your pictures and the wonderful love letters. I think old love letters are just beautiful.
As usual you are very entertaining . You show us what can be done with scraps and it is such a wonderful thing to know . Thank you for everything you do for us.
Much love to you and your family. I was named after my grandmother and we were very close. I would love to see any of the books and photos from her. When it was time to sell my grandmothers house my mom didn't go to see if there was anything she wanted. I live a couple of hours away so I called my uncle and asked for only one thing. It is a ceramic wall hanging with a cornucopia and writing on it. I ended up having my sister pick it up for me and I never told my mom because I am afraid that she would want it. I am really happy that you are so positive when you speak about your grandmother. So many good memories that we can share with our own children. ❤❤❤
Oh thank you so much Laura. I feel really happy for her that she is now reunited with my Grandad, I hope they’re dancing right now 🙃. It sounds like a really sad situation especially for your Mum, it’s really a shame when these things are so upsetting x
I love the double pockets with the paper on that back pocket page, brilliant idea! I was also thrilled to see all the add on pages you created to go with the kits, they come in very handy and I use the butterflies all the time, they are my favorites so far… 😊😊😊 Hugs to you and may your Gran rest well with the angels. 🙏🏻😊💖
Oh thank you so much Laurette, I am really pleased that you are enjoying the little add on pieces, yes those butterflies are really handy. Thank you for your kindness about my Nan, I am picturing her reunited with my Grandad and dancing as we speak x
Sorry for the loss of your nan, Tina. I miss my sweet grandma every day; she really encouraged my creativity. Loved the story about your grandparents’ letters. 😊 These easy pockets are so much fun to make and decorate and they look great on a journal page. (You’re right about RD pages having inappropriate words! 😟) I’m looking forward to seeing all of the new, creative ideas you have planned for us! ☺️
Hi Tina it's me, Gwendolyn. No you don't know me (yet) but I've been watching you for a while now off and on. And now I subscribed so now I'm able to tell you I love your work. It amazes me how you put a couple of things down and it is beautiful. I take so much more time and still find it hard to make something beautiful. I might be my own worst critic huh.. seeing you do your thing does help me and for that I am very grateful. Ty Tina
Hi Gwendolyn, thank you for introducing yourself and taking the time to comment. I am so thrilled that you enjoy my videos, and that you find inspiration. Yes I think we are definitely our own worst critics. Just have fun and go with your instincts, x
Well, expected or not, we still miss them. For that we get sad. So hugs, for those moments. :) Fun pockets. That blue & white flower paper you had was beautiful!
Wish I could craft along, but it's past 3 in the morning, when I get to see the latest video.. I put everything away ...but this relaxes me, helps me sleep.. I like all your ideas and your digitals that I've been having fun printing out lately..but I keep running out of ink, and it's so expensive! And by the time I drag everything out...it gets late, and I gotta put everything away. I found some stuff at the thrift store today...I'm thinking of making some mini books outa these cute Lil mini paper bags I got..I also tried to find my embossing powders and ink pens and pads, I wanna emboss some of your digital flowers, butterflies and frames...sorry to hear about your grandmother.
stacijo920 have you heard of how instant ink?Its a monthly printing plan when you an hp printer. You purchase the number of pages you wish to print and they send you how ever much ink your little heart desires to use!!Its a really great deal!If you go over your allotted amount of pages to print, there are packages like $1 for each additional 10 pages,etc..... look into it,it’s really good deal!
Me too... I am not the only one up super early watching the videos and falling asleep. I also have gotten in so much trouble by running out of ink. I only print when my husband isn't home. I know how to change the cartridges myself. I have to use more of what I have printed before I print any more. Instead of embossing powder I put glossy accents or glitter stickles on top. I sometimes us nail polish with glitter from the Dollar store. I put them outside to dry because the smell of the polish is strong. Love your comment ❤❤❤
I agree with Tala. HP InstaInk plans are fantastic. I’d never be able to print digis without it. Just make sure you buy an HP printer that is designated as "InstaInk Ready." Not all of their printers can be used on the plans. 🤗
@@jeanneblondewomanstamping9788 I know but we are not buying a new printer. We will have to buy another lap top because ours is old. Pretty soon it won't handle new windows. I want to be sure that I don't lose all my downloads. My husband knows what to do. Thank you for the suggestion. ❤
Jeanne BlondeWomanStamping instaInk is great isn’t it!I would never be able to print like I do without it!Its such a good deal and I love how you can change your plan if needed!(which I’ve had to do an upgrade!haha!)but nice that you can go back down to lower plan if needed as well.Love that you can use as much ink as you want,bc I’ve been splurging on full color prints!lol!Im always getting notification that my inks are being shipped/low on ink!Ugh! I’d be lost without it!
Your Gran sounds like a wonderful person who would agree with you celebrating her life rather than mourning her passing.... You should write a book about her and her letters xxx
I think it’s a healthy way of dealing with her death, that’s how I felt when my grandmothers passed, they lived full happy lives, had wonderful husbands, and enjoyed their families a lot. I wasn’t as sad that they moved on, maybe a little sad that the times of giggling and history lessons were over but in a way happy for them to rejoin their spouses. All of my memories of them are happy and bring smiles in the retelling of their stories.
Hi Tina!I was watching some of your older videos and came across the pot luck video......Would you consider doing those again?? Maybe something alittle easier for you to make and make enough for a lot of us to purchase!Since all your stuff literally flys off the shelf and so many of us don’t even have a slight chance of buying!haha! But those pot luck pouches were wonderful! All sorts of goodies that you make! Tfs as always! Now I can watch this new video!
Love these, Tina! I crafted along and made about 6 undecorated ones (a lot for me). Super fun and easy!!! ... Enjoyed your chat as usual. 🤗 Soooo totally relate to not enjoying checking/using email because of all the unwanted stuff that keeps coming no matter how many times you’ve unsubscribed 🤣🤣🤣
Great idea! I’ve got lots of book pages to find a use for and I’ll be giving this a go. Thanks for sharing. Thank you also for the Free digitals for Christmas! 💕
Tina, I've offered a prayer for your grandmother's soul. May she rest in peace. Regarding email, couple of tips: Never unsubscribe to advertisement emails. Oftentimes, all that does is trigger a process by which you then are automatically subscribed to all kinds of ad emails. These companies sell your info and that's one way in which it is used. Secondly, you might consider signing up for one or two additional email addresses. I have three. One for personal email only, one for ordering online and the random sign ups required by various websites, and one for business/job. The one for ordering online fills up very quickly, naturally, and all those annoying ad emails stay there out of my sight until I need to track a package or check something else. Clear it out every now and then and enjoy email peace. I love these pockets and have made a few of my own, one with an entire row of pockets all the way down the page. Lots of room for improvisation with this one. Tfs! ~ Lisa
I LOVE that chicken paper!! 🥰. I have chickens (and ducks and guinea fowl and goats and horses....). I suspect there will be a “farm” journal in my future. I’m currently working on 2 journals...the 2nd one is sunflowers and butterflies...trying to figure out if I’ve gone overboard with the sunflower images, so I may add some bees. BTW...you made me laugh when you said you were going to stop talking and then kept talking. LOL. I am a serious introvert, but if it’s a subject I’m interested in, I can talk your ear off. I’m quite used to watching peoples’ eyes glaze over when I’m off and running my mouth!
Wow, a farm journal is definitely needed for you! You must be so busy with all those animals. Great idea to add some bees if you need to balance out the sunflowers, what a gorgeous summery journal that will be. I just can't help myself, one I get started I just can't stop, I am such a chatterbox!!! Lol. Yes, I know what you mean about watching peoples' eyes glaze over!!! Haha x
I love Pam! She is amazing! Speaking of celebrating a life how is the life of the tiny Christmas tree coming along? I hope you and your family are well.
Good evening Tina . Love the video . Do you take orders to make a journal for someone . It seems like most people don’t . You have to wait until it comes on their Etsy shop . 🥰 ❤️🥰
Oh thank you Fern. I prefer not to do custom orders, as I find them really tricky (different expectations from either side), I have only done a couple x
Wow 105 that is amazing. Your grandmother had a good long life. What amazing memories you will always have.
I love Pam too. I watch her in the morning to get my first laugh of the day while getting inspired to move.

Thank you! I really like these pockets! If you fold both the fronts at the same time, they'll both have the same angle.
What a great idea, now why didn’t I think of that? Tfs x

Thank you for your workshops and chats, Tina!
Thank you, it was my Nan, not my Mum btw, no worries though, but I might not have had such a healthy view if it was my Mum 😊😉 x
Tina, I’m so sorry! I totally knew it was your Nan and not your Mum. I wouldn’t have taken such a healthy view either.

Yes, I so agree. It’s actually wonderful when things take their correct order, and definitely a blessing in itself x
I enjoyed watching this tutorial. I think it might be easier to fold both angles together then slide one beneath the other. Sorry for your loss. Tfs.

Vickie Vegas oh yes!I was wondering about that as well!Hopefully it’s doing well and growing quite nicely!
Can you be specific on Pam who it was very hard to hear her TH-cam name.
Oh thank you for asking Vickie, the tree is doing well so far, still on my kitchen windowsill, but it looks healthy so fingers crossed x
Pam at the Paper Outpost, sorry I can’t get the link to work from my Ipad x

Oh thank you, I will look at this x
Tina may I ask what glue you are using on this project?
Just my regular Antias Tacky Glue x
Sounds like you may need a good spam email program to filter your emails.
Try and flag the email that way yyou wont lose it
