Just got my 1st rod and working on getting everything else and hoping to check this place out soon! We love this park because the family can have fun while i give it a shot at my first time fishing.
Thank you 🙏 my waders are expensive you don’t need that good of a pair but I wouldn’t go too cheap but I have Simms confluence the Run about $550 and my boot are Korkers Dark horse $250 . You definitely don’t want to go too cheap but you can get some brands for about $200-$300 for both and still be good quality
There our custom katanas and I use a few different reels 2 of them in this video are Japanese shimano Stella’s and vanquish both size 1000. There very expensive but you don’t need stuff this good to catch fish .
Definitely not warm is teens-20s at night but it’s local to me I go all over this side of the US fishing monthly it’s not a hobby for me it’s my Job 🎣 fish on !
I fish for a living it’s not a hobby this lake is down the street for me . I fish all over this side of the US monthly these places fill in the gaps between trips everywhere . It’s a hard job but someone has got to do it lol fish on 🎣

Ya my boy loves those worm kits .. he tears it up with them up here on the Truckee and Walker River 🎣 myself I think the minnows are the best 💯
One of my favorites also 🙌🏽🎣
Way to get on the fish bud...great video
Thanks Don
Do they just stock rainbows there? I assume because the weather isn’t sufficient enough for other species like browns, lake trout, brooks etc.
Yes and no it’s just economical to pay for Rainbow there a lot cheaper and yes not the altitude for brookies not deep enough for lake trout .
Thanks for the video. Nice fish. What lake is this?
Thank you 🙏 this is Hesperia lake in San Bernardino county
