Thanks for everything Mazzy, Joie, Rachel, Sue, Becky (Mrs. Harry), Brenda (Mrs.Elkboy) Uwe & Hien, Bill, Rob, Kimbo, Chance, Dr. Robert and Susan, Todd, Trevor and Coffee Dave for making a very fun and memorable weekend, it really is a community. Did I leave anyone out?
This was cool, dig the whack-a-mole on the road. I will see if I can get tickets to Dada in Chicago I think its on the 15th. Great you all met up, I need to get to Seattle again so much I didn't get to see or do. Cheers !!
I can’t believe you left those records all CockEyed after browsing and pulling. I’ve worked and owned record stores all my life. Never would have expected YOU to be one of THOSE people Mazzy!
Hi Mazzy. Love your channel. The Classics IV had 4 hits including “Spooky”, “Stormy”, Everyday With You Girl” and “Traces”. Back in the day there was a great 4 track Rhino CD3 with those songs on it. I have it in my music collection. Cheers. (Chris from Calgary, AB, Canada)
Would’ve given anything to have been on this trip. Loved at 2:58 where you got a shot of “Fearless Movement” by Kamasi Washington. It’s another strong release(in our humble opinion)by him. Enjoyed the footage of Sonic Boom and the dinner and the “Whack-a-mole” was a nice touch! Great video Mazzy, another superb example of why we love your channel in a sea of TH-cam channels.🙏🏻🎧📸
i wish I still lived in that area, dude - Sonic Boom Records is da bomb, man - I first saw it (I think) in a video indie band Calpurnia did where they were shopping for LPS, and I've wanted to go there ever since. I wish we had good stores like that in the Boston area. There's a few around, but even the local chain is shrinking - we just lost our outlet for Newbury Comics in Saugus, so now if I actually want to go to a record store, I have to go to the ones in town or head up to Peabody to their store there. There's a bunch of newer ones I haven't been too as well, so one of these days I'll make a pilgrimage to visit some of them, I miss true crate digging, tired of doing all my shopping online...::sigh::...although often prices are better that way...fun video as always, sir!
Good video, sir. Thanks for taking us along with you. Caroline, No is one of my favorites. LeAnn Rimes did a great version at the Grammy's Salute to the Beach Boys about a year ago, it's on TH-cam.
i listened to it all the way through today after not listening to barefoot diva regularly since she passed and she apparently never lost her gift. i like the joey callo song at video's beginning, need to track it down. i'll never make it to seattle but luckily have all of "twin peaks" on blu-ray.
Thanks for suggesting Songs In The Attic. That is an album that gets overlooked. I think it was a good idea to record live performances of his earlier songs that got overlooked. Songs in the Attic is my favorite Billy Joel album.
Speaking of Elvis, his granddaughter, Riley Keough's latest project is a pretty good but really sad Netflix series called Under the Bridge. Love on ya, Mazzy and Seattle.
Mazzy you would definitely immediately recognize the Classics VI song “Traces”, very schmaltzy, but a guilty pleasure for me. I think you would recognize a couple more too..
the only thing you can say about billy joel over elton is the fact that joel wrote his songs, borh lyric and music, where elton just wrote the music.. great gathering..peace.. rocky
James Corden , he’s back in the UK now , on the stage , the car thing all started with one he did with the late , great , George Michael , for comic relief ..the one with Paul McCartney is epic, visiting the old haunts ,
Quite a vinyl party. Thanks for sharing. The Billy Joel album was a big one in my middle school years, 1979-1982. an interesting concept for a live album, it only contained deep cuts from the early albums that Joel thought needed a bit more muscle. I’m not ashamed to say I love it!
All good vibes in the car, even with greenscreen out the back window & the car's clearly not moving at all. Who are you trying to kid? Once a taxi drops you all off at the record store & TPD & Harry's, things pick up nicely. Some really nice folks gathered at the end sat down on the shopping mall escalator, though you can get in trouble for that you know. I get it. Avant garde.
I like Dada...a lot! Great as always Mazzy. Joel..1st 5 albums! Now he's a parody of himself at MSG in NY...saw him recently...lazy and horrible. His audience is the same as Bruce's "party" song fans..
Off topic, are you aware that Jim White now has six of his LPs on vinyl? Or to the rest of you, has Mazzy mentioned this at any point since his last video where he pointedly stated he had only one of those LPs? Mazzy, as always entertaining.
While Elton John had Taupin for lyrics (which is a big have) Billy Joel really doesn't compare. Only interested in John's work through the first hits period. Tweeds!
He’s not an ass ..if he were an ass he wouldn’t have good videos , but he has , the car segments with George Michael and Paul McCartney for starters are enjoyable ..so Corden did a good job
Could you classify, (great, average, most this genre's, etc,) not rank, the record stores in the locations you visit? A new revenue generating - click bait series.
What a great time. Im envious. The video was great. Love seeing the intermingling of the VC. I hope there are many more to come.

You forgot Billy Joel 🥸
Well, Harry, yes you did - - PumpingBillyJoel & about 4 other equestrians.

We didn’t take a moment of silence for O.J.’s recent passing. Other than that, a gem of a hang! 🤘🏻
Thank YOU Harry!!! You and Becky were wonderful hosts!!! Much Love!

Hell, even my wife and I had a good time watching your extended party!
The Wax comment “Waiting for the Entertainment” was priceless!
Nice Mazzy giving Elvis love. Love Elvis. I saw him in Seattle in 1976.
One of my favorite elvis albums

What a fantastic video Mazzy. And wow You where in the famous Twin Peaks Double R Diner. That's absolutely a location I hope to visit once.
It was a highlight for me @marcellavankraaij🥰

Yeah fortunate to have all the stores here ✌🏼
Great video , great whack-a-mole G I Blues , one of Elvis' best 60s soundtracks. In the uk the stereo first press is a good one to find.
Luv the.

Had my eye on the Marshall throughout… delightful reveal!
Those black shelves, with those yellow dividers, is, CLEAN
That turned out really well. Wish I could have joined you at the Double R.
We should drive up there sometime again. ✌🏼
Billy Joel is best heard live. Songs From the Attic is the best of his live albums with the songs pre-dating The Stranger.
That Cesaria Evora album is fantastic. Good choice.

Pulling out the dark side 50th was gold
Mazzy.... Songs in The Attic is a Live album with some great music on it... It came out in 1981...

Nice to see Elvis get some good reviews, that is rare these days.
Speaking of Elvis, his granddaughter, Riley Keough's latest project is a pretty good but really sad Netflix series called Under the Bridge. Love on ya, Mazzy and Seattle.
That Crosby record is a killer. ‘Glory’ in particular is brilliant
Mazzy you would definitely immediately recognize the Classics VI song “Traces”, very schmaltzy, but a guilty pleasure for me. I think you would recognize a couple more too..
Nice collection 😊
Where is your Mind Games CD Box Set from Sean?
On route. Coming from the UK, the west coast takes longer.
Mazzy love your trainers very cool dude 😎
I acted in Twin Peaks !
Do Tell!
Looks like a nice time. Dark Side of the Moon is a great album. Nothing wrong with that pressing at all.
You were missed Chris.
@@harrysmusicroom Thanks Harry.
You buy LP Cesária Évora? ❤️😍🤩
Yes I did. I have four or five of her CDs from when they were released. But this is my first vinyl version. Love her music.

At least you didn’t pull a Phil Collins.

Want more Dada.
Lovely live version of Caroline No, Mazzy.
Who us doing that version?! The band playing in the car, Dad?
My fridge is an Ampeg!
Is that Diet Coke for Louie?
Who the fuck would own Billy Joel albums?
Mazzy you going to miki Berenyi trio tonight? Budgie (siouxsie and the banshees, lol tolhurst ( the cure) will be opening.
"...a second rate Elton John." Ouch.😊

So Mazzy is doing the UBER thing now..What a host and he plays Joie's band. 1:31 Joie could use this clip for a video of the song.
Need Dada on vinyl
James Corden. "Fat"?! Really, Norman?! Really?! Sounding a little judgy - Norman.😜
Ein Video in deutsch? 😂
Das wärs dann aber.
Schöne Grüße aus der Umgebung von Wien.
Hallo Ich war da - wohne in der Naehe von Harry. Nächstes mal Übersetze ich ;-)
Mazzy is the best in VC

Corden
Corden, who is an ass, did a great episode with Billie Elish.

Billy Joel's lyrics can be a bit embarrassing. Always has to rhyme
Billy Joel is better than Elton John. Fact
Stay doing videos on your own, this does NOTHING to enhance you or your videos!
Stick with the original idea....Please!!!!@
