Having missed RSD this year, I only had a chance to watch your RSD video now... always appreciate how much love you put into them, makes me even like the choices that I would not consider 🙂 P.S. You did not spend too much that time in April (well done) but still a "snatcher"!
Love your channel Bob and especially this yearly video. Always look forward to it. Great camera work, sound and editing. Also got the Bill Evans. Sounds fantastic!
Up in Smoke had a great soundtrack. I was thinking about you the other day, Bob. I got a huge haul of jazz records that were being thrown away on the curb! Lots of Bill Evans, Brubeck, Peterson, etc. Couldn't believe they were tossing this stuff.
Nice.. I got the Bowie, Up in Smoke and the Jazz Dispensary also. Plus a bunch more, so I spent too much. Mainly was after the Thin Lizzy, Sisters of Mercy, and At the Drive-In, and scoring those, made for a great day!.
@@BOBBRADLEYCHANNELYeah.. I keep going back. My store had quite a few leftovers . Picked up the Banshees, Bill Evans(thanks to your review), The Hives, Corey Taylor, Neil Young, and the English Beat.. I'm good! I hope..🥴
Great picks Bob.I wasn't going to bother this year as I bought the two new Tone Poets and both the new Blue Note classics which came out same day here in UK so I was all spent out but that old FOMO feeling got the better of me and this morning ( Monday) I went to my nearest record shop about 10 miles away and snagged that Bill Evans.Just given it a clean and will be spinning it tonight
I always look forward to your RSD videos Bob & congrats on another great one! Didn’t manage to get the Bill Evans (yet) - my favourite so far is the Gene Clark No Other Sessions - amazing stuff - cheers Bob
Fantastic Bob. I've been more into RSD lately because I've been traveling a bit to a different record store that really does it right. Coffee and donuts outside in the morning with several dollar bins to leaf through while waiting, plus a DJ. A real sense of community. I picked up the live Talking Heads and Yes records. Fantastic releases. And.... The bass player from Wilco happened to be there shopping. We talked for a bit and he signed the new Wilco record for me. Totally unexpected! Props to you Bob for being a gentleman about the line. Cheers, Jay
Though I can’t be bothered with RSD anymore it is cool to see you and others go out. I’m a bit surprised you only got 4 records. The Gandalf is getting a general release. Unless you need the green vinyl I wouldn’t sweat the Gandalf. I saw several that were interesting. I still haven’t seen anyone show my #1 pick. Not everybody digs Bill Evans. He is okay.
The one thing I like more than RSD is your video as I live vicariously through you, glad to see you showed restraint congrats Bob, I feel you would have done well during the Prohibition era lol
I picked up the Bill Evans album, a couple of Cannonball Adderley, Rolling Stones as well. Enjoyed what I picked up . A couple of others made their way to my collection. Also got the Mark Knopfler latest as well, this was not an RSD release. All in all spent about £300 sterling, was expensive but I think worthwhile. 0:15
If I only had looked at RSD participants list, I would have found a new store to go to. How did I know Bill Evans was going to be first. I believe I had UIS at one time. So many 70's/80's stuff I didn't keep because being almost 50, I have been thru the rise and fall and rise of vinyl.
Looked like you had a very nice RSD Bob. I didn’t get to stand in line ha ha, train here in Denmark, earliest was after 6 so I arrived at my destination a few minutes before they opened. Maaay have cost me one or two titles but I… had.. the… BEST RSD and spent sooo much 😫😄😫 I loved your use of music and the sped up video of all the customers 😊 Thank you for letting us come with, cheers from Morten.
nice dude! love seeing fellow vc creators! (sick timelapse in the beginning there) & that bill evans looks fantastic. working on posting my haul actually. been a sub for awhile so I'll keep coming back & keep on groovin your way -mark
Hi Bob. Heading for the rsd rest sale in Copenhagen this afternoon. Which one of the two Cannonball Adderley live recordings should I choose? Thank you for your record vinyl insight and for bringing your knowledge to all of us.
Was the Gandalf an RSD first? I’m happy to pick it up later if so. Picked up Jazz Dispensary and the Tom Verlaine and Dwight Yoakam box sets. Love your videos.
The Buckley was an RSD first, so nothing special with the RSD edition. I grabbed it and put it back after seeing that -- actually, I had grabbed the last one and someone else wanted it, so gave it to them.
Wow, Bob David Bowie, did you get the Bill Evans vinyl?, I'm so jealous, I'm Korean, but the David Bowie album didn't come in, so I'm satisfied with the Gilscott Heron, Noel Geliger 7-inch, and Daft Punk EP albums in this RSD. I had to do it. I'm really jealous. I respect you😔
Good stuff! You should check out the Parliament LP...been playing it non stop tonight... 2 slabs of vinyl that is absolutely epic 🤯 FYI though...everyone does NOT dig Bill Evans...you can have all your Jazz....pass 🤮🙉 Cheers 🍺
Oh... Bob (thanks for the reply) meant to say... I just reacted to this in a video on my channel, then, I've started to aggregate everyone else's in the "y'alls hauls" (RSD 2024 playlist) th-cam.com/play/PLLOcJImG-vEfopXMndoFUzNHCmjZ2wb7I.html
As a fan of the jazz dispensary RSD releases and supporter financialy it pains me to say the latest The people arise is musically horrible, what happened.
Correction: the deadwax on the bill Evans has MCL (Matthew Lutthans) who works with Kevin …. Hype sticker credits Kevin.

I managed to get the Bill Evans. Did you consider the Howlin' Wolf live in Europe '64. It is good. Keep digging for more records! 😊
Bowie album was the first one I grabbed. Love it!

Both seem great, I’d personally go for the earlier one if I was going to blind buy it, cheers
The Thin White Duke with Mick Ronson On Guitar 🎸 !
Just killer!

You are a good dude for waiting till the middle of the line Bob. Most ppl wouldn'ta done that on RSD. Buncha jackals out there.
It’s tough on the streets 😉cheers
The owner of Better Days seems like an awesome dude ! 👍
Good people for sure!

Love rsd...picked up Tesla Reel to Real, Thin Lizzy Live Hammersmith 76, & ELP...missed the Bowie damn it lol
Cheers I hope the Bowie finds you ✊🏼
