I really love the song and the melody and the changes you made to the first half and the effort put into it, i just wish the entire song as a whole would have more of a solid dance beat to it, because even the ending doesn't have that same punch. you lost a bit of fidelity in doing the remix and didn't add back the body and bass that was there. the original song was a lot more like a dub track, and this should still have that bass or kick or something in it, with the vocals and instruments sounding so thin, there's room for it, and it's such a great composition and reimagining of the what is one of the most stand out tracks in NIN library. I think there's some amazing ideas of here that really I did not expect to hear Star Fox.
i understand what you were going for, this rendition is clean, articulate and very concise. your talent and personal flare shines through on this track. that being said, i don't think you hit that mark you set because it doesn't have as much noise, or the layered buildup that the noise culminates into a suddenly defined thing out of the chaos. kinda thinking of "a warm place" and "eraser" and into songs like "fragile", "happiness in slavery". i still love your work though, never stop.

why didn't i know about your remixes before
I actually just started doing them and uploading them a few months ago. I also release original material but I hit a wall creatively. NIN is my all time favorite and Trent Reznor was my idol as a young teen. I was so driven to be like him and to be able to play every instrument you put in his hands, not only that but create masterpieces with each one. So I acquired a catalog of NIN multi tracks and I have sort of challenged myself to create as much of the musical composition as possible if I think it works. Plus I enjoy the shit out of it. I have a silly hope that maybe the man himself hears one of my works one day and acknowledges it 😂. I would die 🤯
