    Very sweet presentation, you just made up my mind on the exact same unit I was looking at. I'm here in Saskatchewan and buying one that was traded in at a Massey dealership with only nine hours on it. Buying tomorrow before Trump tariffs put our tractors up again, I think we would be better as the 51 st state.😁

      @TheHalmore I'm glad my video was useful. I've always had a fondness for our north neighbors. Hope your deal goes well and your tractor serves you well. I'm at 180 hours on mine and still loving it.

    You’re very right. Every tractor will have cons. I know there are things I think I would like like the auto throttle. Mine has nowhere to mount a tool box. And the drink holder is not a placed great. I wish my switches were over head instead of on my dash panel. I am thinking of a new tractor and these thing are going to be things I look for. Thanks for the walk around.

    I have a CKSE model and I agree that the DKSE models should have everything standard that the CKSE models do. 🚜

      it's strange isn't it? Probably trying to hit a certain price point. I still love the tractor though. Does everything I need it to.

    Good video. I thought you were going to complain that the cab was to small, you are seriously a big guy!! You got 8” height on me and you’re over double my weight. Lol. I’m waiting to bring my RX7320PC home now. I agree, it should have a rear wiper. My tractor already has tripple SCV’s at the back, they just have to add the third function to the loader for me. I also agree with the cab work lights…..they should be LED and on mine you can’t adjust them horizontally either, just up and down….kinda stupid. However it is $45,000.00 less than the JD 5075E I priced out. And the stupid thing with it is I couldn’t get it equipped with tripple SCV’s just dual🙄. I think I’m going to love my Kioti when I get to put it to work. I’ll probably be changing its cab work lights to LED soon after I get it home. And I’ll make brackets so they adjust horizontally too.

      @myronhorvathsk i tested an RX as well, but it's just a little too big for what i do. I live in town and there are street lights around so the led lights aren't a must for me, would've been nice of they had them. I think you'll love your tractor. Best of luck and thanks for stopping in and commenting!

    The TYM 494 has 48hp. with a 2.3 4cyl engine and will lift 400 lbs. more than your DK, standard dual remotes & cost less than your DK.....just saying. I'm in the market for this size tractor and doing my due diligence looking at what's available. Thanks for posting the video.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @lttl858 yep, they all have their pros and cons. Dealer support is what really matters. Pick a good dealer in your area that sells what you want in a tractor. Best of luck with your decision. BTW, there aren't TYM dealers anywhere near me so I never looked at them. Kioti,kubota,LS, and John deere, and bobcat(basically kioti) are what I have in my area. I'm happy with my purchase. I hope you are as well when you decide.

    • @beardedrockinhillbilly
      @beardedrockinhillbilly 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I was heavily leaning to the TYM or LS comparables to the Kioti tractor I ended up with. In the end it came down to dealer distance, dealer service capability and Kioti was running 0 percent financing when I was ready to buy, while TYM and LS weren't. Reliable, close and good dealer support is very important with all else being pretty much equal. 🚜

    I've had breakdown after breakdown with my CK3510SE now at 275 hours. Such a poor decision on my part to purchase. By far, the most horrible purchase I have ever made. Yes, feature rich, but that doesnt matter if you can't rely on it. Nice video...good luck with yours.

      @@charlesreed6404 that's unfortunate to hear. I'm getting close to 200 hours and haven't had any issues yet. I hope yours comes around for you. That is no fun when you can't rely on your tractor when you need it.

    I like how you said it was comfortable inside I'm about the same size as you or even a little bigger it's hard to find a smaller tractor to handle the bigger people and be comfortable seems like a lot of them are made for the small people in this world and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

    Good review Tim! I too had to pay for a rear wiper on my tractor as it wasn't standard. I also paid for two additional rear SCV's. Luckily, my three point came standard with extendable lift arms and the pin/hole type side stabilizers, which I was happy about. So, the reasons why they "go cheap" on certain models and certain features on models, but yet not others doesn't make sense to me. Like you said, the CK model (which is a lower model than yours) came standard with a feature that yours didn't. THAT kind of stuff makes no sense to me.
    I agree, the door doesn't open far enough for me either. And I'm not a real big guy. I think that could be remedied by just putting a longer strut on the door, but I didn't bother doing that, I just got used to the door not opening very far.
    Overall though, I couldn't agree with you more. I love my tractor as well. There are very few things that I'd change on it.
    Oh ya, I'm also digging the flying camera!!!

    When you get the opportunity, you should climb in and sit in a Yanmar YT3 series tractor. As you are well aware of,…you and I both have to “slide” around the steering wheel when entering and exiting. Yanmar’s steering column goes vertical when it’s forward. You’ll also notice the extra amount of room above the steps when you climb in there.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I am unaware of a dealer for Yanmar in my area, but I'll keep that in mind.

    The DK is also about 400 lbs less than the MX. I’m torn between the 2, but could get the DK with similar lift as the MX, similar weight, a cab, and overall smaller frame which is nice for getting into tight spaces for about 7-9k less.

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All the same reasons I went with the DK. I was impressed with the MX, but the size was the big driver for me since I work in tighter spaces often.

    Are there any repairs you had to make or design flaws not covered by this video? For example, I've noticed the battery compartment sits below the frame, leaving it exposed to stumps..

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @christopherryan9865 i haven't needed to add anything except a grill guard. With the work I do with logs and trees, it's needed. The clearance has never been an issue for me regarding the battery. I don't drive over stumps much, so I've never hit the battery box on anything. Hope that answers your question.

      @chrisshelton2358 i forget the exact height, it's under 8 ft though. I can go into a garage door that 8 ft tall with no issues. I can not go into a door that's 7 ft tall. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for stopping in.

    You can upgrade to extendable link arms

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that is an upgradable option for the DK series. However, on most of the series when you have an SE trim package, they come standard. That was the point I was making. Not really something I personally use as I run a quick hitch, but some folks would prefer them, that's why I brought it up in the video. Thanks for coming by and sharing the knowledge!

      @@timbervisions I understand. I optioned out my DK5310SE with every option. They would not give me the new LED lights though

    • @timbervisions
      @timbervisions  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DonnieDarko727 really? I'm not sure they even have a factory led option for the cab. Lot of folks just replace with some from Amazon. For my applications so far, the oem lights have been plenty. I don't do much night work other than snow pushing, and it's not a problem when doing that.
