    Seeing a Wily Wars without the buster fire rate limit is surreal and satisfying at the same time.
    This project looks beyond promising. Hope the author won't abandon it.

    I like how the enemies literally break apart after you destroy them. And I love all the unique surprises added in here. Very creative.

    Ok, Skull Man EX definitely has inspiration shades of the hell wheel version by Puresabe of RM4mi. Small parts.
    I just discovered this project days ago and wondered if the dev would make any nods to _minus infinity_ with this.
    Actually, now I can't help but to be curious about whether or not Puresabe will play this.

    Are the EX stages based on the Game Boy Mega Man games?

      I have all the GB/rm world games and can confirm this is _not_ based on any of those stages. Neither structurally nor mechanically.
      In RM world 3 the stages of the mm4 bosses are portrayed as being sub-stages as parts of the Wily castle in a remote desert location. As such they all appear like testing facilities, especially the stages of Skull Man and Dive Man. Dust Man's stage just seems like a smaller disposal facility interposed into a remodeled ventilation mechanical area. Drill Man's stage seems most similar (but not identical) to the NES counterpart.
      Punk didn't really have a stage of his own, originally. It was a multi-storey corridor with some servers in the background. That MM10 Time Attack stage is actually made after Wily's submarine fortress, which you encounter after defeating Punk, ironically.

    Volume unbalanced. The sound effects are louder than the music. You should try to fix this.

    This is seriously impressive stuff. I have 2 critiques. A small one is the "giblets" that explode out when most enemies are killed. It's an interesting effect, but it gets repetitive and kind of distracting. I hope there is an option to turn that off in the settings. The second is the 2nd phase of Skull Man. The first phase was by FAR harder than the second boss fight. I'd say swap the second pattern with the first and get rid of the part 2. Again, cool, but unnecessary and doesn't really add anything. Just my opinion. Looking forward to playing the full release of this.

    This idea is super cool so please allow me - as someone who actively plays MegaMan games for almost 35 years now - to share some feedback of stuff I noticed:
    The balance between music and soundfx is off, before Punk it's very quite music, after Punk ist super loud! (Compared to the jump & shoot sounds)
    The new enemies are cool, but some look really out of place with their color pallet. It doesn't fit the level theme all that well. (The birds and the bugs)
    The flying skulls, flames and the running skellies are super fitting though!
    The level is pretty long...
    It's fine to have some challenge, but 4 bosses in one stage is a lot for casual players!
    I would not recycle the same miniboss! Its cool to bring the idea back for the SkullMan fight, but the same mini boss in one stage twice was always poor decision. Even in the original Games that did it (like MMIV with the hippo)
    2:40 the placement of the lower enemies is not good because it gets too close to the life counter.
    You tend to ignore activity in that corner because the life counter flashes if you charge, so most players will miss that enemy.
    3:00 This room has too many Imorms!
    You should at least have 2 spots were you don't have them falling on your head, otherwise it slows down the flow too much.
    The Punk fight is creative, but the room is a bit small for it. If the ceiling comes down and the floor comes up you could end up in a place where you cannot doge anymore.
    Also It look not good when Punk just flies through the ground and is not affected by the terrain. 4:40
    I would limit him to only to the sawblade attack on the highest ground level to not collide with walls.
    6:08 this is very good to show the player how the platforms work!
    6:55 collecting an E-Tank needs a satisfying sound effect!
    The transition to SkullMan phase 2 is super neat!
    The font for the "weapon get" looks unfitting for the rest of the UI
    Maybe it would be nice to indicate checkpoints?
    In such long levels it helps to know how far back the last CP was in case you are about to die.

      Not really the only outstanding part was the annoying 2nd Fortress situation.
      But there are more games that had it, so no...
      Some individual bosses are killer though!
