Have been twice to Vietnam both north and south but never to Danang. Trips were about 15 or more years ago. Danang looks really good ! Great to see they have a handle on waste mgt. Prices are certainly reasonable. Really enjoyed yr walk around and so good to include maps etc. We are revisiting Hanoi, Hue and Hoi An hopefully in April. Your tips will be very helpful. Definitely stay a while in Danang based on your experiences 😊 Great job showing us around !
Great walk around Richard, really loving Da Nang and will definately travel here and place in the queue 😂 Hoi An is another interest. Love the beach for walks and the streets are lovely.
We stayed at Pandora Boutique Hotel in Phan Ton Street which is between An Thong 27 and 28, then moved to a large studio apartment for a 2 month stay near the hotel. Our bed was seperated by a curtain so it was more like a one bedroom. Pandora is excellent value and only a 5 min walk to the beach. Even now its amazing value at $18 a night.
Hey Richard , loving your vlogs , Karen’s hair looks great 😊 .Looking forward to your Sanur story though Ithink have worked out the other person with similar coloured hair ….. keep up the great work 😍
We have only ever stayed in Hoi An, Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay but after watching your videos I think we will give DaNang a go next time we are in Vietnam.
Tours always bypass Danang, but it needs to be included in it. We caught a train from.Hue to Danang and the tourists got cars straight to Hoi An as soon as they got off the train.
Richard and Karen, take the train up to Hue for a couple of nights at some stage. Hue is pronounced as Way. The scenery from the train was amazing and our return tickets were $10 so it's still going to be very cheap even if it's gone up.
I said that too while in Danang but a much quieter Gold Coast strip. It's brilliant all the buildings lit up at night and they played music.well they did back in 2019.
Hi Richard, another great vlog, thanks for sharing. I recently stayed at Lagom Apartment & Hotel for a few weeks and would definitely stay again. There’s a fabulous juice shop across the road called TingTing (which is also next to a currency exchanger if anyone is looking for one). If I may suggest a couple of coffee shops in the An Thuong area… Bamboo Bob and Cafe Phuong (great atmosphere).
H Coffee used to have the best coconut coffees in all of Danang, It would be of great interest to see what you think. It's more like an iced coffee in Australia but instead of cream and ice cream it's got icy coconut on top of it.
