This may not be much help but I think the gems and shards we get from bosses reveal a story about something. Like the geo gemstone, I remember reading something on the geo gemstone. Maybe I’m going crazy
Lumine went with Dainsleif and now Aether is going with Paimon. Interesting. Lumine felt betrayed by Dainsleif. And Aether will be too by Paimon as is being hinted every time.
Okay so first conclusion is: Dainsleff lost his girlfriend so he told Venti to grow him a new one The second one: Paimon can be reproduced by dividing to the parts like bacterias or plants Thrid one: if we kill paimon, we can plant a new one from the corpse
Watching this I just realized that the "gardener" might be the same person referred by Albedo in the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event during 2.3. Or at the very least it's interesting how he mentions a "gardener" who can tell the difference between real and fake.
I think it was heavily implied that this "gardener" is a god or at least someone playing god and why he said he not wishes to become one. After all that's what brought ruin to Khaenri'ah
Ei suggests her sister Makoto must’ve got help from the god Istaroth in the recent Ei character story. She said she must’ve gotten the seed that is planted and the Inazuman Shrine from Istaroth, who gave it to Ei to eventually plant. Future Ei planted it in the past and Ei of the past didn’t know where it came from. She was the only one who knew it hadn’t been there previously. So I definitely think this is probable.
Even if this video took a little more time than you thought it would, I promise the wait paid off. You’re really skilled at connecting bits and pieces within Genshin and its parallels to mythology! The way you organize information is extra convincing, and I’m excited to watch the next part. But take your time, and keep up the good work!
Another thing id like to point out with taking the books in game with a grain of salt. I think it’s very interesting that around the time of before sun and moon, the lantern rite comes out and Zhongli makes a comment on how history and books can not always be trusted since they change with the passing of time. I think it’s too big of a coincidence
I swear one of them has got to be like one of those legendary ao3 fanfic writers that post poetic essays of 100k+ words every weekend. well, there was a chinese light novel my friend read with a crazy storyline that exceeded 800 chapters, (and that's just one author) so i'm not surprised anymore by the absurd details hoyoverse is serving for a ten year plan.
Maybe you're already planning on addressing this in a later video, but the thing that bothers me the most is why are there no moon phases in the game? It's always a full moon. I'm sure it's not just lazy programming.
Yeah, that is definitely something I want to talk about in pt. 2 when we talk about the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. It definitely is strange to have no moon phases at all
Remember how people say some TH-cam series should be an actual Netflix show or any show for that matter, this should definitely be one. This guy deserves much more praise for all the time and love and research and effort he puts into his videos, good job man!
Ah yes part 1.5...labelling like a true KH fan, I see 😂 so cool to have all these hints demystified a bit, even if "it's not always that deep" you gotta appreciate the details the writers and translators put into the lore!!
yee it's really crazy how much research they put into this, and how even though they have so many real-world references, the plot of the game is STILL shrouded in a ton of mystery
That Could Little theory time!!! I am surprise you didn't talk about the Raiden Shogun Act 2 Story Quest, because there is actually something quite interesting in there related to a certain tree that was planted in the future and grows into the past. I won't spoil or anything but at a certain moment it was mentioned that the notion of time was messed up and still the Traveler arrived at the exact moment where and WHEN he needed to be. At the end of the quest it is said that some "other force" was at work at that moment and who do we know that could of help control time and grow an entire tree in the past FROM THE FUTURE!!?? -The God of Time
This video was completed before 2.5 dropped and was posted within a day or so of the version's release (i think day-of or the day after), so I hadn't played Ei's story quest yet! But I'll be covering her quest in my next video, and all the timey wimey shenanigans that happened :)
And remember how the sacred Sakura tree appeared almost instantly just like the gardener who planted the branches and the sprit tree grew instantly. More on that if gardener can be replaced by Archon and Ei planted the seed of the sacred Sakura then she would also fit that role. I may be completely off by this but this is what it reminded me of!
i think dainsleif might be the gardener, his lines at end of the travail trailer, and his title of the bough keeper (roots of trees are boughs) also the whole parable of the tree just reminds me so much of albedo’s event where he constantly mentions trees and gardeners dain is also cursed, and mentions fading memories
Good to know that at least one theorist didn't get stuck on the loop of trying to match every character to a greek deity after Enka hit us! Amazing video! XD
Your lore videos are so detailed and well written!! Can't wait for the Venti video coming up, I'm always looking for more Venti lore to explore he's just so interesting haha (and he's my favourite)
Dain being the second heir is a rather interesting idea and I'll put that in my headcanon too..gee I wonder who the first heir who fell to the kingdom of darkness may be?🤔 Perhaps a certain god we've seen a long while ago? The first and second heir look a lot like Lumine and Aether, but I personally dont think its them, but rather the second heir looks like Dain thats for sure and the first heir looks a lot like the unknown god. Aether looks like Dain and Lumine to me actually looks like that god to me too in which I hope you cover the first and second heir someday, absolutely love this video!
Imagine it was lumine and aether descendants especially we don’t even know about there family history or there parents. but I remember when I was reading that aether was woken up by lumine that they have to move because some dark shadow looking or something was coming to the places that they keep being at, that’s why they keep moving places to places and that how it lead to them meeting the unknown god bc they was trying to go to the next world.
What if the first heir is actually the tsaritsa. She will be the last archon god we encounter and she is the only one traveling around collecting gnosis. It’s hypothesized that we eventually might have to team up with her
My spectculation. You know there is a character mention in the lore abraxas (the great archon). Abraxas , magic is known as abracadabra "I will create as I speak" , which sound like Katheryne's Ad astra abyssosque. I believe the person that created Katheryne is related to Abraxas, or is it....
An interesting this I've seen mentioned in comments of some other theory video is that the Traveler might be related to the realm of the Vishaps (aka the Elemental Realm or the Light Realm). Both Aether's and Lumine's names (in all languages afaik) are related to light. It could be that they can use all elements, because they can use the "light" element, which is something like an original form of all other elements (think of white light and other colors). That'd make the statues of 7 something like prisms that help us channel our elemental power into a single element. Along this line of thought, the other sibling (and the Abyss order) use Abyssal power which might be something like the "dark" element, or simply a lack of elemental energy, which might be how some enemies can drain our energy. I migh've used the word "element" wayy too many times by now, but I hope this was comprehensible enough.
Just discovered your channel and this was an interesting take on Istaroth's identity. She instantly became an important figure in the Genshin Lore. One thing I noticed is that the new logo of Cognosphere looks like the Ouroboros logo. Not sure if it's just coincidence though.
That's an interesting observation! Knowing Mihoyo, that was more than likely intentional, a subtle nod to themes that pervade their games. (and sorry i'm taking a moment to be a fanboy) I absolutely love your lore videos (and your voice), thank you for taking the time to watch this vid :)
@@TheLittleOnionThatCould Agreed. Just a cool thing we saw. No worries! Appreciate the compliment. I love your theory and how you researched about Istaroth and I hope you keep making more :>
ayo??? we rockin with a new video today??? post video edit: literally SHAKING oh my gosh i love this. im sitting in my little seat waiting for the dain video so patiently, everything lines up in their little boxes so nicely and GOD this is only the information we have from inazuma, when we get to sumeru all theory videos are gonna be like an hour minimum
@@TheLittleOnionThatCould mihoyo WILL have to hold me back the moment they drop any lore because i will pick it up and run away to make 90 different theories and paimon will be in all of them somehow
In Honkai theory Primodial One is the MANTIS (flame chaser) and they have a project to save humanity from Honkai called : S.A.V.E and one of the project is ARK (Find other habitable places to live in using a spaceship sent out into space)the members beyond this project is unknown, and it's Failed - Never got contact back from the spaceship. But the initial is K.K, also the one who created the sibling (Traveler) is K.K it self.
Am I trying to incorporate my favorite character in this? Yes. Is it still interesting nonetheless? Yes. When the doves held branches? Hmm… is there anyone else we know of that has the title of dove? Oh right! Columbina, The 3rd Harbinger.
The way u connect everything together is just incredibly amazing. Also, unlike other Genshin Theories TH-camrs, the way u explain things is so easy to understand.
AYO I just thought about this...but we know that Phanes (the god that is attributing to the creation and destruction of life) was born from an egg constricted by that of a serpent, correct? In the Battlepass Venti cutscene, we see a SNAKE constricting itself around a clam/pearl...a pearl called the "Genesis Pearl". Genesis means beginning in Hebrew, right? What if the Genesis Pearl the theoretical princess/Traveler's sibling searched for was Phanes' egg, or the secret behind the creation of human life in Teyvat? IDK where to go from here but I thought this might be interesting?
I haven't seen anyone mention this, but when talking about "time", no one mentions how, during the second archon quest, when you're helping Zhongli gather materials for the Rite of Parting, he talks about the Dendro Archon's kite "Honor to wisdom and the passage of time" (Found in Farewell, Archaic Lord, Downtown section of the archive btw) So I was wondering about your take on it and if it actually means anything or if Hoyoverse was just bating us
These are super interesting lore theories, but focusing so hard on *who represents what* makes it a bit convoluted to tie back into Teyvat’s history. Could you do a video attempting to put all this back into Genshin chronology without references to real world mythos?
This theory being banger aside, that 3:51 oh that part... I can feel that pain when you're chilling and suddenly yeeted to shadow realm by enthusiastic boar. In all honesty? This is great vid and always be careful when piecing the information dear sir, wish I can like a vid twice(read more than three times). Edit: 16:06 .... Hol up, let me digest that one first*(I have zero knowledge of lore, but I have to think this one through). You stated Paimon is... Fertility? I know there's variation of fertility but... Scuse me?!
yeah i'll be fleshing out and expanding the ideas i presented here over the next couple of videos, and also giving more context for them! my next video will be about ei's story quest, and we'll be talking a little more about istaroth.
absolutely fantastic, breathtaking, worth the wait, i congratulate you on a fantastic video both in quality of editing and the theory. truly truly my thanks for making this :D the overlapping thematics are mindboggling and i dont know how you keep it all straight when everybody just blends into eachother at some point but wow wow wow, i eagerly await more of your work! if we gotta wait a month or more between installments then i will treat this as the best series worth anticipating. i am honestly gobsmacked with how good this was so ill just stop haha
oh no i know i wouldn't let this theory just go outside my brain in hours after i watch this i know its going on my mind for months, sometime i couldn't sleep because of this theory, btw your so amazing😭
Funny thing is that Mihoyo wouldn't have even existed if it weren't for Neon Genesis Evangelion. Their first game was called Flyme2TheMoon which was the title of NGE's ED.
god, the way you word and format everything in these theories is so pleasing and interesting !! sometimes its really hard for me to get into lore theory/voice-overs because of visuals or the actual audio, but the way you do everything is so!!! its very easy to listen to and enjoy all of your speculation/ideas since they feel so smart and calculated im actually just shaking !!??
I can't be the only one to think of this, but so far there has been an iconic 'tree' in every country in Tyvat so far. As well as the significat ones on Dragonspine, and Tsurumi. One being corrupted, the other, looking to gave been destroyed. Maybe it's just Mihoyo doing whatever, or there is a leyline connection between ALL of them.
This is actually a very good theory. In my personal theorycrafting, I have been desperate to find more lore pieces about the Omnipresent God and Dainsleif. Thank you so much!
Probably nobody is going to see this, but in Greek mythology Apollo, the sun god, is shot my and arrow from The Greek love god (I don’t remember his name) He falls in love with a nymph, who he chases. She then calls for to earth to help her, and she it turned into a tree. Hope this helps :D
Cute that the snake killed by Raiden, that seeks eternity, is exactly the serpent that represents eternity itself. Even more so seen as Makoto died and created the Sakura Tree paradox around that time
Since you are working on a Venti theory vidéo, there is something I have thinking of for a while, Idk if it's will help in any way but here is it (sorry for the grammar in advance) Let's imagine this chronology; - Phanes creates the 4 other gods to check up the world - Each civilization pray for one of the 4 type of God (hence why some ruins from other region looks similar because the old civilization prayed prayed the same god) - There is a fight between the god of time and and other primo gods because he don't agree with them, and this fight cause old monsdtath who used to pray for the god of time is now being full of snow. A bit like Lucifer fight against God, because he wants to give people knowledge and truth but the primo god don't. - The god of time find people who are still alive who have forgotten about about him and the primo, he takes the form of a spirit to help them out to fight against Decarabian - He takes the form of his dead friend and show himself to people as the god of wind and rebuild mondstadt with rocks, water and grass (weirdly enough he didn't do it with Dargon spine, maybe because he don't want people to know about the past ? Or maybe he is too shameful of something he was not able to stop?) Zhongli and Venti are both old, but Venti sound even MORE old. Zhongli and Makoto have like statue, figures and places everywhere related to them while Venti only one statue. Its seems like he only made one apparition to build Mondstadt and save them, disappeared, came to help against Kaenriah, disappeared, came back to do a check up, dispparead again and came back to save his dragon friend. Unlike the other ones, he act more like a Godly god I'd say, he also seems more mature as if he has seen everything. Makoto and Zhongli acted more like diplomats, royalty than gods. Like, from a realistic view, atleast from religious presepective, we don't expect an irl God to be here and there, it's more of spiritual thing while in Genshin, Archon can die and people can knows it when they get replaced. Could you imagine if the Christian god got replaced by his "brother" like in genshin? That sound pretty weird. With Venti there is a lot of emphasis about him being an "absent" god/archon. But in a way, isn't more realistic to the reality ? Venti seems at the moment to be the only Archon to be treated more like a real religious deity, the guy has a church and there is sisters like for Christianity. For Liyue it's more people going into adepti places to pray for chances and luck, people know that they are here and they also sometimes mix with human, Zhongli had a festival each year in which he will give "advise" to people acting more like a god messenger, there is no real religious group. For Inazuma, their Archon used be treated like a deity (the Narukami shrine) as the same level of Venti but with time going on, she is less seen like this similar to how people nowadays in Japan don't really worship any god. Ei sister surely was worship as a god and had the army of a god, but after the Cataclysm things changed, and Ei reigns looks like royal, presidential army, being highly involved into taking people visions, presenting herself multiples times in front of the regular people after the end of her arc. Frankly, even in the game there is more event related to Zhongli and Ei as a character/deity than there is related to Venti as a deity, he is only there during the Wind festival or more recently Irodori, but he act as a regular person with drinking issues not like a god. And out of all Archon we got presented, he seems to be more down to earth. Zhongli and Ei kinda looked like royalty or rich people who never lived outside of their "bubbles". Compared to Venti, their ignorance about regular things sometimes makes them looks like kid or teenager, while Venti knows everything which is why he is so unpredictable. Two "gods" always actively involve with humans who knows pretty much nothing about regular human life while one God who is never there knows everything about regular human life. For many irl religious belivers, god is everywhere. It's easy to see who looks more like a God.
I've always believed that the seven archon's were actually chosen due to the machinations of Istaroth. Venti? We don't know exactly when he was born, just that he existed back during the time of decrabian as a wind spirit, and as we know, wind spirits can live for a long time. Zhongli, there are hints that he was sent to teyvat, and used to pull the moon chariot. Raiden view of eternity is like eternity outside a single moment, while makato is eternity inside that single moment. The first dendro archon was a part of the scarlet king council but later went to found "sumeru rainforest", which leads me to believe that sumeru was initially a desert area with an oasis which was the area ruled by the scarlet king. She represents wisdom, wisdom comes only over time The initial hydro archon represented oceans and oceans can represent the "flow of time" Pyro archon is unknown but represents death and resurrection, ouroborus representing Kairos Cryo archon isn't the first cryo archon, but the second. She used to be the goddess of love, but became the cryo archon later
When I first unlocked the Battle Pass and the cutscene played out I really thought that the two heirs are Lumine and Aether and that Dain is talking about Lumine in the Travail Trailers video...then again, if the "she" he is talking about is indeed Lumine, it will not make sense if our MC is Lumine coz he doesn't have any reason for us to be saved, and that if Hoyoverse did intend Lumine to be the canon Abyss Sibling, they wouldn't give us a choice between the twins in the first place. Btw, your theories are all amazing, looking forward to more. I love Genshin's lore but my brain can't really come up with theories like these, well I can but it's so jumbled up I myself can't make sense of it 😅
i love how these theories of yours make so much sense. I've been also having theories about the triquetra, the moon sisters, paimon, and moon symbolism in the game, which includes abyssal moon (spiral abyss and it has waning and waxing phase) and welkin moon (new moon). I'll be looking forward to your next vids.
UMMM so like, can i just say that u r so damn big brained that while i get a whole lot of the connection and theories u make, my brain is unable to entirely wrap itself around them ill have to rewatch it
I'm not one to comment on anything but I have to say, your content is absolutely fantastic. I just binged watched your videos regarding genshing lore together with my partner and we love it soo much ! I cannot wait for future videos. You really go in depth and connect so many different things. You honestly blew our minds. Can't wait for more 👏🤩
Well, I mean if Istaroth is the Irminsul tree and Venti's a branch of her like a dove with a laurel leaf, that would explain the crowns on top of the trees in domains that may remind us of a certain someone often theorized to be the god of time- ehem, emergency food, ehem.
No wonder pimon and venti r soo casual. Pimon is always respectfully of ei and zhongle but venti is more like family to her. Calling each ither names and trolling each other
*warning: a lot of thoughts came into my head while wrighting this. So if there are grammatical errors, that's reason one. Reason two being English isn't my first language. And I have very little respect for this language with how confusing it is sometimes* Ok. So if Dain is Tyevat's mirror/alternate to honkai's Otto This makes Genshin's story ever more interesting. And with Dain's mission of saving someone he loves, and if we play and important role in his plans. This could lead to a major showdown with Dain. Remember he once said "Step forth, if you have understood the meaning of your journey. Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that youa re worthier than I to rescue her". It mirrors Otto's plans and actions during the latest chapter. He made himself the villain of the world. But he helped the main characters grow stronger in the hopes of changing the world, hopefully saving it. Meanwhile he went on his mission of changing the past. He's now free from the shackles of the world. Proceeding with his ultimate mission. Danislif could be planning a somewhat similar plan. He's immortal. So was Otto. Immortality ≠ invincibility. I was so convoluted. I just thought of this when you mentioned Otto and Dain being somewhat parallels. The only this is though that Dain at the moment. Doesn't play the villain role. for now.
One more thing about the Otto and Dainsleif comparisons, Otto in the latest trailer fights waves of enemies, and slowly starts to corrupt his body. I'm not actually sure if this is Honkai cascading or something else, but it turns his body black with streaks. Who else has black body parts with streaks? Dainsleif. I'm a big honkai fan since 1 year ago after coming from Genshin wanting to know more about the lore and themes of Genshin. I fell in love with the story and lore bits way more than Genshin, but the parallels and drip-feed connections are starting to enhance my enjoyment of Genshin as well. If you have the time, I think getting into Honkai is a worthwhile investment. Of course, it seems like you won't be as surprised by certain events because of your prior research into the lore, but experiencing the story in context is amazing. Last thing, new bits of Honkai are coming out about the Flamechasers, and it's been highly theorized that the Travelers connect to the Flamechasers as part of their Project ARK. I really enjoy your theories and I think you can really do Honkai x Genshin/Hoyoverse theories justice.
aight so I might have to watch this again to get all the info in my head but god damn that was one hell of a ride, the amount of research genshin put into this, the amount of research YOU put into this, it's astounding just like the theory itself
When i did the quest with Dainsleif where we met our sister with the Abyss Herald, I always thought it mean that Dainsleif knew Lumine, or was possibly in live with her. My friend, who plays as the female traveller, said that instead of saying that he "missed her", Dainsleif said that he "missed him".
Your videos are bloody amazing. And you’re really funny yet present the information so thoroughly it is so impressive. Thank you so much for your videos.
Great quality as always but the background music is a bit too loud in this one. Looking forward to your next video! Edit: Wait the BP cutscene girl looks like a grown up version of Paimon, even the color scheme fits.
Could it be that the seelie and the outlander who fell in love might have been Paimon and Dainsleif? I mean Dainlseif does mention a woman which at first we think is Lumine, but I don't think so. Just a thought.
Sees you mention Ymir is a god that rules with a bunch of giants. hmm so thats where Isayama got his idea. Edit: and yes, I know Attack on Titan has a lot of Greek and Norse mythology references
Paimon has this to say about the Seelies in her convo with the Traveler: "Maybe they grow out from the ground? Or maybe they fall down from trees?". And you said that the Moon Sisters and Istaroth all came from the Irminsul Tree, as well as hypothesized that the Seelie ancestor who married a traveler from afar may be one of the Moon Sisters............ Hmmmmmm.........
Hmmmmm...... Phanes, the offspring of Chronos whose name means "shining one" or "brightness"......... And Chronos just so happens to have another offspring in some versions of the Orphic myth whose name also means "brightness"......... the primordial god of light and clear skies, Aether. It was also said that the Primordial One in Genshin has three noticeable main traits: they have a helmet/crown, they have wings, and they are androgynous. The Travelers may not have a crown/helmet, but they do have wings (as shown in the first scene of the game) and they do look quite a bit androgynous, especially Aether. And Phanes in the OG myth has a snake wrapped around their neck. The Travelers may not have a snake around their necks, but they do have a scarf, which is kinda visually similar........ Could the Travelers be of the same race as the Primordial One, who came into Teyvat in an attempt to fix the screw-up of the one who came before them? Or, considering that Phanes has this neat little schtick of dying and being reborn over and over again, could the Travelers be reincarnations of the Primordial One itself?
I am mentally and spiritually invested in this series now LOL My brain is still 🤯🤯 but the amount of work and research put into your videos so far is amazing!! I cant wait for Part 2!!

what if: the reason enkanomiya was plunged was because they are the one that summoned or allowing the second throne to enter tevyat?
Isn't Raiden's story quest (part 2) *extremely* similar to Otto's story? With the tree, time travel and all that?
Okay so first conclusion is:
Dainsleff lost his girlfriend so he told Venti to grow him a new one
The second one:
Paimon can be reproduced by dividing to the parts like bacterias or plants

@@jayohjae1380 Where did you find about the shadow following?
What if the first heir is actually the tsaritsa. She will be the last archon god we encounter and she is the only one traveling around collecting gnosis. It’s hypothesized that we eventually might have to team up with her
The edit, the information, the pace and the narration is just simply perfect, man. You deserve so much more attention.
RIGHT??? Sumeru is going to be WILD, it's the learning center of Teyvat. We better get a crap ton of lore books
Tree theory predicted sumeru archon quest long before it's time lmao
The fact you compared Otto and Dainsleif, omg!
Am I trying to incorporate my favorite character in this? Yes. Is it still interesting nonetheless? Yes.
When the doves held branches? Hmm… is there anyone else we know of that has the title of dove? Oh right! Columbina, The 3rd Harbinger.
And oh my god, you know what else Doves symbolism? THE FATES.
Absolutely flabbergasted, I adore the Sun & Moon Theories as it goes on. This Never fails to disappoint, I'm so invested!!!
IDK where to go from here but I thought this might be interesting?
i mean, the idea of a god (Phanes) being born from the egg (Genesis Pearl) also seems interesting
I haven't seen anyone mention this, but when talking about "time", no one mentions how, during the second archon quest, when you're helping Zhongli gather materials for the Rite of Parting, he talks about the Dendro Archon's kite "Honor to wisdom and the passage of time" (Found in Farewell, Archaic Lord, Downtown section of the archive btw) So I was wondering about your take on it and if it actually means anything or if Hoyoverse was just bating us
Bacchus Dionysus is also part of the prototype of Venti
We'll explore that in Venti's video :)
Pardon me why does this vid not have more eyes on it. Its simply amazing. At this point i forgot this is a theory
Scuse me?!
This has so much to unpack , needs a rewatch after digesting
yeah i'll be fleshing out and expanding the ideas i presented here over the next couple of videos, and also giving more context for them! my next video will be about ei's story quest, and we'll be talking a little more about istaroth.
@@TheLittleOnionThatCould your videos are well made, informative and entertaining, keep up the good work!
absolutely fantastic, breathtaking, worth the wait, i congratulate you on a fantastic video both in quality of editing and the theory. truly truly my thanks for making this :D the overlapping thematics are mindboggling and i dont know how you keep it all straight when everybody just blends into eachother at some point but wow wow wow, i eagerly await more of your work! if we gotta wait a month or more between installments then i will treat this as the best series worth anticipating. i am honestly gobsmacked with how good this was so ill just stop haha
oh no i know i wouldn't let this theory just go outside my brain in hours after i watch this i know its going on my mind for months, sometime i couldn't sleep because of this theory,
btw your so amazing😭
Maybe it's just Mihoyo doing whatever, or there is a leyline connection between ALL of them.
this was 100% worth the wait, can't wait to see the next one!
it's all just a VERY complicated love story
pretttyyyy much
**looks at the other MiHoyo titles**
**loads gun**
Always has been.
The last part about Paimon and venti is awesome
YAAAAS FINALLY ITS HEEEEERE! thank you so much! i was dying to see more of your works. definitely worth the time it took
thank youuu sorry for the long wait (and the lies during the long wait LOL) but i'm glad u enjoyed it ^-^
This is actually a very good theory.
Even more so seen as Makoto died and created the Sakura Tree paradox around that time
Aponia’s face, headpiece, & hair from HI3 reminds me of the Welkin Moon and the statue in Inazuma City
😂😂 I was already considering subscribing after part 1 but once I got to the statue of the omnipresent god bit I immediately subscribed
i felt as if this video opened my third eye, in fact all your videos on genshin theories did. subscribed 👍
I must say, you're editing kills me everytime😂😂
Since you are working on a Venti theory vidéo, there is something I have thinking of for a while, Idk if it's will help in any way but here is it (sorry for the grammar in advance)
Let's imagine this chronology;
- Phanes creates the 4 other gods to check up the world
- Each civilization pray for one of the 4 type of God (hence why some ruins from other region looks similar because the old civilization prayed prayed the same god)
- There is a fight between the god of time and and other primo gods because he don't agree with them, and this fight cause old monsdtath who used to pray for the god of time is now being full of snow. A bit like Lucifer fight against God, because he wants to give people knowledge and truth but the primo god don't.
- The god of time find people who are still alive who have forgotten about about him and the primo, he takes the form of a spirit to help them out to fight against Decarabian
- He takes the form of his dead friend and show himself to people as the god of wind and rebuild mondstadt with rocks, water and grass (weirdly enough he didn't do it with Dargon spine, maybe because he don't want people to know about the past ? Or maybe he is too shameful of something he was not able to stop?)
Zhongli and Venti are both old, but Venti sound even MORE old.
She represents wisdom, wisdom comes only over time
The initial hydro archon represented oceans and oceans can represent the "flow of time"
Pyro archon is unknown but represents death and resurrection, ouroborus representing Kairos
Cryo archon isn't the first cryo archon, but the second. She used to be the goddess of love, but became the cryo archon later
This came on in autoplay and I was SO confused for a few seconds with the intro lmao
LOL
the quick meme you put on specific scene, its golden tbh lol like i had to replay couple times to read it
When I first unlocked the Battle Pass and the cutscene played out I really thought that the two heirs are Lumine and Aether and that Dain is talking about Lumine in the Travail Trailers video...then again, if the "she" he is talking about is indeed Lumine, it will not make sense if our MC is Lumine coz he doesn't have any reason for us to be saved, and that if Hoyoverse did intend Lumine to be the canon Abyss Sibling, they wouldn't give us a choice between the twins in the first place.
These FFXIV vibes each video have been soooooooooooooooooooo good.... picking all my favorite tracks
UMMM so like, can i just say that u r so damn big brained that while i get a whole lot of the connection and theories u make, my brain is unable to entirely wrap itself around them ill have to rewatch it
How come your channel is soo underrated? :0
Your theories are really clear and easy to understand!
Subscribed 🤭
I'm not one to comment on anything but I have to say, your content is absolutely fantastic. I just binged watched your videos regarding genshing lore together with my partner and we love it soo much ! I cannot wait for future videos. You really go in depth and connect so many different things. You honestly blew our minds. Can't wait for more 👏🤩
This was an absolute treat to watch. Great narrating and visuals👏
I love how I'm watching this knowing VERY well I won't remember 98% of what you said
Well, I mean if Istaroth is the Irminsul tree and Venti's a branch of her like a dove with a laurel leaf, that would explain the crowns on top of the trees in domains that may remind us of a certain someone often theorized to be the god of time- ehem, emergency food, ehem.
I loved the part 1, I was definitely hungry for more. This video cured it. Keep up the good work bro!
And I have very little respect for this language with how confusing it is sometimes*
Ok. So if Dain is Tyevat's mirror/alternate to honkai's Otto
This makes Genshin's story ever more interesting.
Yeah the person he traveled with that he talks about in We Will Be Reunited is either Aether or Lumine, depending on who you chose to play as!
do you guys remember the theory about the time element.. well in one of the Kiana skin her power thing slows down time..
your videos literally motivate me to play
Your videos are bloody amazing. And you’re really funny yet present the information so thoroughly it is so impressive. Thank you so much for your videos.
32:59 This nutshell of the plot made laugh so hard.
I'm just waiting until his channel grows big so i can say i've been watching him since the start.
HOLD UP- THIS IS- THIS IS TOO MINDBLOWING I'M DIZZY (really amazing work though)
This is just a beutifully constructed theory and i love the mytho you included
Great quality as always but the background music is a bit too loud in this one. Looking forward to your next video!
Edit: Wait the BP cutscene girl looks like a grown up version of Paimon, even the color scheme fits.
new sub, dude I really appreciate that you credit and recommend other theorists? Seeing everyone's different train of thought is always so interesting
Could it be that the seelie and the outlander who fell in love might have been Paimon and Dainsleif? I mean Dainlseif does mention a woman which at first we think is Lumine, but I don't think so. Just a thought.
I can’t wait to watch this, I have been waiting for at-least a month 😭
Please keep making more videos! You're amazing! I loved the singing ❤😂
okay my brain is forcing me to think that ur theories are so true and confirmed LIKE YEAH (they are juicy and noice tho)
Oh my god an upload! Thank you!
I'M here after Sumeru dropped long ago, OMG!!!
Sees you mention Ymir is a god that rules with a bunch of giants.
hmm so thats where Isayama got his idea.
Edit: and yes, I know Attack on Titan has a lot of Greek and Norse mythology references
i need to catch up on the AoT anime, I read the manga but have watched little of the anime xD
I want to add that the Tsaritsa is also a God of Love.
imagine the whole hoyoverse doing this research and making the game :')
NICE VIDEOOOO
Here's a good one for you - compare the HI Equinox trailer, Wolvendom, and the upcoming GI 2.6 Black Serpent Knight enemy.
I'll have to look up those trailers! But I'm staying faaaarrr away from any chasm spoilers, i wanna be pleasantly surprised~
I am mentally and spiritually invested in this series now LOL My brain is still 🤯🤯 but the amount of work and research put into your videos so far is amazing!! I cant wait for Part 2!!
great video. i love your theory. it seem this video made before 2.5 right? istaroth it also mentioned in the new ei's second story quest. not detail just a word...
Yep, I just did Ei's story quest today--and it has made me EVEN MORE confident about Istaroth/Moon Sisters being the Irminsul Tree/guardians of the tree! That quest was awesome!
Dude I love the outros for your videos
the absolute bonkers amount of info I was just bombarded with... time to rewatch this like 3 times!
but nah, incredible job as always, waiting anxiously for future videos!
This theories keep getting crazier and crazier, and oh man you have one hell of a brain..
Next Part please!!!!
Now this is real theorycrafting.
I’M SO DEEP INTO THIS SERIES AAA
Pls I learned more abt different mythologies around the world form you explaining a game theory, then from my history teacher-
The amount of respect I have for you is unreal-
new sub btw 😍
I can only imagine how much time this took. I’m impressed and shook
