My first BWS round seeing live and thoroughly enjoyed it. You’re right about all your fans in the West Country! You’re also right about Smeatharpe being slippy, try it in the wet 🤪
Nice one well deserved ,keep up the good work and yes I did fall over when you said you haven't blown a engine ,you will hear from my solicitors I die course 😅😂😂🏁🏁🏁
The meet was going brilliant, 2 good finishes - I thought my new blue hoody was a good luck charm 😆 I blame that cola-bottle for the 3rd race! Chuffed to bits to see you out there and getting the job done Pete - happy days 👍 Well worth the 6 hour drive for me, was starting to stress when it took 3 hours just to get to Cobham Services - mai gawd - the traffic. Drive home was bliss, 4 n half hours. Looking forwards to the world final !!
Great mid week video, good results, piss poor prize money for all the time and work involved, but I suppose it’s better than a kick in the danglers from Wayne.😂
Really enjoyed the meeting, you did really well so you must be pleased with your results. I’ve been going to Smeatharpe since the late seventies, and I can honestly say that’s probably the best banger meeting I’ve seen there. See you at Aldershot on my birthday 🎂.👍
Great meeting you guys had and man you were fast for a Jag! Mushy was just in front of you so that’s a big deal as he was in a frog that’s just as heavy as your car 👍🍺
Another great video always look forward to watching another episode Looks like the engine curse has gone 😬🤞 Certainly a contender for world title 👊🏻 u deserve it
Thanks for another great video, love the incar footage. Looking forward to going to the world final, just not the drive home , well over 200 miles , closer to 300 . 🤔

well done about time you had some luck . the showdown ended up like big DD your q of the lucky ones who took a raceable car back virtually intact . not a track where many drivers take larger cars the smaller cars handle better on those tight bends
Just watching the 1st heat and had to pause and ask, Who’s responsibility was it to make sure the front passenger door plate nut was tightened up lol. Personally I’d blame squirrel 🐿️. Jokes aside love the videos. 👍
Nice video. One question: why not use Omegas as these are similar in size and weight to the Scorpio/ ultimas and not as expensive? The Jags do look good but seem a bit big for competitive racing.
@@gerjanbeuze9978 Omegas are horrible cars, not very strong, steering box instead of rack, really low chassis rails and the turrets for the front legs make it a real struggle to get a water tank to fit. I raced one a long time ago and that was enough. There’s a reason next to no one uses them 😂
Just a suggestion, try turning off the hypersmooth setting on ur gopro so then it dont start turning when going round the bends. Ive had the same problem and it fixed it.
Great result, you needed to be in that world final. - what were your thoughts when coming up to lap Peters in the wildcard, after turning him around a couple of laps earlier?
You’ve the speed sorted, but the mercs seem to have the jump coming out of the corners. Don’t get me wrong I’m now expert.. is it weight of car or gearing ?
@@JeremyFoster-r1b a bit of both, the mercs are using ford or supra diff conversions, they don’t fit in a jag so I am limited to jag gearing, also the jag is 200ish kg heavier than the average frog or merc. It did a lot better than we expected round such a tight cornered track
