    To give an update on the situation, as of this week my problem with Gearbest has been resolved.
    I do want to point out that I am not sure how much this video has contributed to that, or if this will be solved for everyone now, but at least I wanted to give an update on the situation from my end.

      Been there as a costumer and as a partner. Hard to say which experience was worse.
      And yes, they "stole" money from me as well. A lot of orders didn't count on my affiliate program, even the ones from friends who placed the order standing right by my side.

    I can only speculate, as I don't have any inside information... but to me, it seems that Gearbest is in deep waters and it's not looking good.

    One of affiliates. I also can report I am NOT Paid also. Going now to 2 months. On Gearbest affiliate system they left a note I will be Paid in JUNE 2021. Can you believe this.
    Yes I also advise affiliates to MAKE COMPLAINT about gearbest affiliate. P.S. To be honest For regular users. Its still fine. Shipping is going normal. Thank you for video bro.

      No, it's not. I canceled more than 10000 euros in orders not shipped after 60 days, when I bought them with the information of item in stock and shipping in about 3 days...
      Gearbest is death.

    Great video bro! Wow this sounds shady AF! I hope you can get your money soon but will definitely be sharing this around. I’ve never worked with Gearbest before but I almost have a few times and every time I did they’ve always lowballed, with multiple people reaching out and never a clear understanding of expectations. I’m glad I’ve dodged a bullet, and will be sure never to work with these guys.

      Yes, I stopped working with gearbest when Poco F1 was released. A lot of trouble getting my money...
      So I would not recommend anyone to order anything at gearbest.

      I think they might be. The amount of things you could buy in the past has really thinned out now. You can barely get any xiaomi products. I used to buy yeelight lamps from them, and they were shipped locally. Now it's available on aliexpress and barely any lamp is up on gearbest.

    You were the reason I choose entire xiaomi product line, I own around 50 mi smart gadgets, I never bought from gearbest though, they always sold items expensive.

    The gearbest problem start about one year ago when they changed his platform for something like Ali and also change the owners , no good coupons no good prices etc etc , and I stop sharing his links . So I am happy for this in my case . But so sad for gearbest because before 2-3 years was this shop one of my favorite eshops from China. RIP Gearbest ....

    Hey Wick, that's bad news. I can CONFIRM it's the same with me. Tried to withdraw in October 2020, and it's been almost 6 months since then. It's ALL my commissions from 2019 and some of 2018 (throughout most 2020 I've not really used their program, as there have been too many complaints, so I felt something was going on). I needed it urgently for something last year, but ... no luck. Got the very same silly explanations. And while I was chasing them - perhaps half of the people I knew there seem to have left. I think Gearbest is done and it's a matter of time to either entirely shut down, or be acquired by someone.
    There are a lot of friends that reported that they've never received their goods from GB in the last months too.
    To whoever decides to buy from Gearbest: think twice! They don't have most items in stock, and most of their suppliers seem to back off. Always use Paypal. Even if Paypal can't help you - most credit cards can take advantage of a "chargeback" procedure.

    I gave up on gearbest a while ago when they tried to become an Ali express rival by hosting resellers etc. Their customer service is woeful and when Ali have so many good decent people trying to make a living it doesn't make sense to use gearbest.
    If you want to buy from a company Banggood have great service selling direct and aren't just a platform for resellers. If you want to buy from an individual seller, buy Ali express.
    Of course now this video is out, they will likely get a payment to you but doesn't mean they have turned a new leaf, just means they don't want to bad publicity

      Aliexpress is great for affiliate programs as well, but from Gearbest and other companies, we are able to get products "for free" so we can review it (there's the effort of doing this, so It's not free at all) directly from them.

    When I used to work with Gearbest affiliate, they reduced me to 0.1% affiliate due to "high sales" where sales from my affiliate were between $1000-1500 monthly. I just stop publishing their products. My recommendation is stay away from Gearbest.

    My experience with GB is quite the same in terms of how late and insincere they are.
    It was my first purchase from an online store, a Superlux headphone. As it was my first time (to purchase thing from China), I had no idea how long it would take or how to track.
    I remember that it took a whole 1.5 months, from China to my country (in SEA region). I had to send them email (like you did) asked them to update my tracking (it was around 2016 so the tracking system was garbage). Turns out, they detoured my headphone to "avoid any further tax" (which is bull as it cost like $30 so it was surely exempted). Worst, they chose the "cheapest" courier to send the package which was quite frustrating as they had no idea about the route to my address so it took them ANOTHER 2 working days to deliver and it came without a damn pucking box. They just printed my address on the stickers and put them on the package. Luckily, the headphone came fine.
    After that, no more Gearbest. Uninstall their apps, deactivate my account and bye bye.

    idk if where you live there's like a public governmental service dedicated to protect/support customers (here in brazil is called procon), but I wouldn't let this go if I were you, it's your right and you gotta fight for it

    Same here! Will remove everything from GB. I feel sad about it..as I ordered A lot from them in the last many years..and always had a good experience. I'm not saying others weren't..but Gearbest gave me the a 'good feeling'.
    Unfortunately, besides many great products, they also have a big stock of 'garbage'.. and that will probably kill them.
    It feels like they use the affiliate money to pay off their depths. taking money from other reservations to pay other.. this is only a matter of time, like a chainreaction... Hopefully the people working 80 hours a week will get their salary..
    I think we as affiliates won't see anything soon or later...

    Yes always trust your gut. If they’re fobbing you off, using delay tactics or giving you radio silence that’s definitely not a good sign. No one likes being screwed over with a deal. I know exactly what this is like. I’ve been screwed over by ex-employers in the past, not paying me or giving me minimum tea or lunch breaks governed by New Zealand law. Your doing the right thing bro. Always protect yourself. The company does not care about you because if they did they would be contacting you and making every effort to pay you. Hope this helps.

    I stopped buying there for a while now, cuz the past 3 orders there was some item that was availabe when i paid but it was shipped more than a month later because actually it was out of stock so i had to replace for another one, even had to pay more.... really hate that

      Exact same thing happened to me when I bought my oneplus 7 pro. I wanted the highest spec and after waiting for a long time they talked me into buying a lower spec because they don’t know when they’re going to get stock of the one I wanted, even though it was shown as in stock even after I purchased.

    Problem is endemic for the industry. If you say anything too negative about a product, then they don't want to work with you anymore - whether it be Gearbest, LightInTheBox, Banggood etc.

    Thank you for letting us know about this. I heard about Gearbest being in financial trouble, beginning of January already. My contact didn't wanted to name his source so couldn't really create an opinion about it but he is quite reliable always I just stopped buying there. Looks he was right though. You mention a manufacturer that didn't get paid, that is a very bad sign.

    I was buying a lot on Gearbest up to 2 years ago when they raised their prices by a lot. Never bought from them again. Their prices just don't make sense anymore in comparison with Aliexpress where sellers have huge variety of everything in EU warehouses. Gearbest just doesn't anymore. Such a shame, I loved Gearbest...

    Hmmm. Worrying for sure. I bought a smartphone which was not as described from Gearbest - the X50 Plus - and the camera is actually only 2MP not 13MP as described and the OS is Android 6.0 not Android 10 as described. It's taken 2 months to get an agreement for a full refund but only via PayPal because Gearbest kept fobbing me off with poor refund offers, delaying tactics etc. Caveat emptor.

    hi man,
    I started to cooperate with gearbest 4 years ago, first year was great, I had special manager for my region, got some cool stuff for reviews and of course withdrawing was simple and relatively quick, and of course customer support was great
    year after they start to split warehouses and they added "local suppliers" and customer support goes into the ...
    then in inhouse aff system started made 1%wholesales orders, which was ridiculous, and I started to have very bad feeling from this, so I decided to promote them less and less,
    I seen like every 3 months they changed personal managers, and a lot of customers was angry due to quality issues or delivery times, so then I completely cancel cooperation but had 150USD in commision, I made withdraw maybe last November, it was processed but never came, I just throw away this from my mind cause i knew that something really changed in gearbest (i think it was in top 10 or top 20 chinesse eshops few years ago)
    I saw your angry feelings from video and I completely understand, but in your case it was much more money ... I did not made any purchase from gearbest in last 2 years, and I recommend to do this everybody,
    its a pity ...

    I ordered a laser engraver on 21st jan (8 weeks ago) and was supposed to have it within 8-20 days. Once it was over 10 days late I started a ticket and was given further dates that never happened. They said that they then had to wait for stock or I could switch. I switched to another product that I was told was available for immediate dispatch on 4th March and as of now 2 weeks has gone by and it has still not been dispatched. I’m really hoping the company is not scamming people but it seems very likely that I’m neither going to receive my product or money back.

    Bought a speaker there and the package came open, and the product showed use marks. Tried everything, never got a compensation or refund. Never shopped there again.

    Not surprised, customer care was always bad and didn't get my last orders from them. Ended with a credit card chargeback. Seems like they don't pay their affiliates, suppliers and don't ship to users.

    Gearbest used to be very competitive. As of a few years ago I stopped ordering as their prices were too high on imported xiaomi devices from China.

    Love your work (Big Fan) and hope you are well. I bought something last year just before the pandemic happening in UK. It never arrived. I wrote few emails between me and geartbest forwards and backwards. They said sent it and lots of excuse s about the shipping and quite patronised wrote in email that " please be patient". After more than 6 months, It never arrived. Therefore, I would never wanna buy anything from them again. It is shame! They used to be good and I bought a lot stuffs from them over the years!

    it seems that the company need liquidity, either they are broke or had a huge debt. i read that a lot of customer never received their order, neither their money for a refund, instead they'll be offered Gearbest points. i think they'll shut down soon

    I worked for Gearbest a couple of years ago and you don't have a clue how fucked up they are on the inside. They don't even pay their staff and continuously delay their payment for weeks with stupid excuses in broken English like "we had to delay payment because computer problems". Luckily, they fired me because that's what happens when you raise your voice against injustices, I'm glad they did.

      I haven't heard real bad experiences but that one is hard to tell. As their website contains many shops, many of which take care of their own handling and shipping, so the experience there will probably differ from shop to shop.

      Avoid AliExpress. You get second grade material and there is no There is no customer service. Just an automated service that keeps looping you back to nowhere. Avoid AliExpress!

    Unfortunately I agree. GB stopped to be a good place to shop more that a year go.
    Customer service did degrade drastically so I stopped to shop from there.
    Shame because it was good and reliable place to shop from. DealXtreme and Tinydeal all over again :-)

    Had problem with Gearbest before, where i had to go through the credit card insurance to get my money back so i will not be buying from them again. But now i have a problem with aliexpress as well where they force me to send a product back to china for a couple of hundred dollars to get a refund of a product that was broken on delivery, so i think i will stay away from china altogether for a long while now.

    Gearbest owes me 250$. I have been waiting for the refund since January. I bought a phone that was never dispatched, they put products on their website that arent even available and after 2 months of waiting for it to be dispatched from China i asked for a refund.       Could be an interesting topic, but I am not that familiar with most of them. (As I would have to be on the receiving end somewhere like in Europe to really have the full experience...)
      Another issue is that many of them allow stores on the platform, which can arrange their own handling and shipping so the experience can even be different per 'shop' as you would have on Amazon or on Ebay.

    Gearbest is the worst. They lurk people using coupons into leaving 5 star reviews on various websites and then it appears that you can’t use those coupons basically on anything rather than some cheap ass panties.

    Yeah in Jan of this year i bought a phone but they never send it for 30days.. so i cancaled it... 2 MONTH it takes to get my money back... they gived it after i threatened that i would inform Paypal about it.. Don't buy there!
