    This is where my grandfather was born and started to raise his family. He was a rice farmer, and then moved away and bought an estate to plant rice elsewhere. Thanks you for sharing!

    Thanks.. my mother grew up in the old rice factory yard. It was later owned by her mamoo (Buddy Bai) ..last name Shah. Sons Sulaiman (Sulay), Khalid, Lucky, Nazir (black bai), Zilly and Maga and daughter Zora. Beautiful breeze st the house.No need for AC. The whole yard was concrete for drying paddy. They also owned the lot across the side street. The original house had a detached kitchen. You had to leave the main house to get to the kitchen. Thanks for showing this.

    Good to see these areas on the West Coast of Demerara...Region 3 . The area is very nice seemingly industrious with mainly rice cultivation and other Agricultural investment. However, the roads are very bad and I think it's the heavy duty vehicles that damaged them yet, I would love for new constructions of roads with much greater macro and micro textures of asphalt concrete aggregates. With properly compacted soil, building a base that's solid, design the roads to sustain extreme conditions and yes, ensuring proper drainage can all contribute to solid, stronger and durable roads...I suspect, our Asphalt could be of low grade quality...Just my opinion.....GOD ,PLEASE BLESS OUR BEAUTIFUL LAND OF GUYANA.....AND ALL OF THE PEOPLE THERE.....

    A time will come when justice and equality will prevail , there will be no sects in Islam, and Muslims will celebrate Eid on the same day across the world. This any many other blessings have been shown to Muhammad Qasim in dreams. If you want to know more about it search on Google or TH-cam.

      @mohamedrahaman9238 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Who is suffering? Maybe you are too young to understand why many of us or our parents left Guyana. Now we have oil, so the country can develop and the people can enjoy improved standard of living, but please don't forget the many years that those in the diaspora sent their hard earned money in the form of barrels to family members in Guyana. Yes, those 'slaves' in the diaspora deserves a lot if respect. So wash your mouth young fella.
