If you manage to locate a random grave in the middle of nowhere, I advise you dig it up, as they could have good loot in them. I found this out when I stumbled across two graves, each saying R. or M. This caught my interest, and I began to dig them up by constructing shallow pits on the same square as them with my entrenching tool. This does give a morale debuff, and you will need a prying tool to open the coffins you will uncover. In my case, I found a 357. Revolver and a REAL KATANA. It’s good to know that you can just find these rare weapons like this.
My favorite Kaluptic Psychosis moment was befriending a hallucination (Human NPC) and trying to make them start a camp- Only for them to just refuse and act creepy. Great stuff.
45:33 as the second inanimate object is suggesting horse murder I'm inclined to not trust the horse. Sure pitchforks are known to be murderous but when has have AR glasses wanted anything dead for no reason?
23:27 the fact that there are sloth hallucinations makes me hopeful that there are sloths because they're cute. But there are probably weird mutant ones around and other nasty variants since almost everything has a zombie version
Minot, North Dakota is pronounced like "why not". Ultimately, it doesn't matter. It's a random town name in a game. I got sick and tired in the early aughts of work projects always being clunky acronyms, so I created a project name generator on my own time run by rng for the company I was working for. I just fed a bunch of words into lists. Inexplicable Tortoise was probably my favorite. City names in CDDA are generated like that. Roll of the dice.
40:45 well drugs do have a high trade value. I can imagine someone pulling a Walter White in the apocalypse to sell drugs for supplies at some shelter or other survivor hub
Just gonna say stimulant is uppers. A sedative like opioids are downers. Pickle would be looking for uppers, not downers. Meth, coke, crack ,and whatnot.
I don't know about in CDDA, but in real life, the bodies natural response to hallucinations is nausea. The idea being that, if you're hallucinating, the most likely source is some sort of food poisoning or toxic mushrooms, etc... so your body tries to make you throw up. Also, darkness makes hallucinations far worse. If you land in the hospital hallucinating, the first thing they do is take you to a bright room and shine lights in your face. It significantly reduces the hallucinations.
iirc the shotgun showed it had 00 buckshot in it, there was just a pile of birdshot there as well. Also 50 damage is probably nothing to sneeze at in a pinch for unarmored enemies. he should def go back and get it imo
I dont know if you know this or not but you can make altenate z levels that you are not on (like if your looking out of a 2nd floor window) share the same tileset as the one you are stood on, basically just makes it look a bit more real/makes it easier to spot enemies if your not used to the ascii signs i cant remeber exactly where it is in settings but its there hahaha :)
Innawood, DinoMod, Aftershock: Exoplanet, Magiclysm, MoM, Vanilla CDDA. I wonder if we will ever see a Rycon series running TropiCataclysm, it has been getting some traction again after someone else started working on what the author left behind on the repository.
AR glasses are kinda doodoo. They break really easily so if you have them on and get attacked, they are almost always toast. The AR bionic implant, however....
@@ryconplays It is truly great but nothing compares to Ultica it’s the perfect blend and is always getting updated can’t wait when they add sirens in the game
Hey Rycon I don’t know if you take game suggestions but maybe if the new update you could do a small series on Project Zomboid. I feel it is a game that could fit in the tip of genre you enjoy?

I swear to the gods you shall be a "big youtuber" in 2025 rycon you're the best
Amen :D
5:12 love the imagery of a house with giant cockroaches crawling out of the windows and up and down the walls. Horror movie level stuff there
The Kaluptic hallucinations scared me so bad the loud spam of damage sound effects convinced me it was real

love your content man, you taught me how to navigate the cataclysm and I deeply appreciate it

10:30 kinda scared of what kind of zombie a mangled corpse would turn into
That shotgun would've made your life so much easier... and harder at the same time lol
13:23 this early in the game any damage increase is a good increase and it's still a shotgun
20:13 Blåhaj spotted
Hell yes thank you for pointing out the Friend Shaped Shark!!

What an intense episode...XD
love you series, keep it up
Really enjoying this series, thanks Rycon!
Lucky find with the hiking pack.
Sweet, I like these mortal characters.
haha me too. much more enjoyable than that overpowered Dusk.
Best wishes
This is starting 2 get gud.
Damn, guy finished off with birdshot. Crazy.

@@cliffs7864 You're right, it did have a buckshot... I just saw birdshot and just figured that was it.
Birdshot would work if used properly. Ugh what a thought though..

I'm not sure it's possible for stable at least it hadn't seemed that way so far
@ryconplays ah no worries I didn't realise you where on stable so that's probably the case, I'm too used to being on experimental lol

Ohh hadn't really heard of it yet

They are kind of bloodthirsty too, wanting to kill horse and all...
and they see hallucinations.....
Buggin on a sack
is brawling better when using weapon?
Could the nausea be an effect of the homeopathic pills you took?
Yippieee
How do you attack from the roof? I tried during my last run and kept falling off.
The pitchfork has a two tile range to attack.
@@Woad25 I know, but I meant attacking into a different z-level.
I press tab which is auto attack it'll attack what ever is in your range
@@ryconplays Aha, that's how you do it! Thanks. :D
what is this tileset it looks pretty solid and cute at the same time.
Check the description.
@ thx u 🫶
Chibi Ultica, it's a great blend honestly

He's done a couple videos on PZ somewhat recently even, but it'd be fun to see him get into the new update
