Billingham, Wotancraft, Domke, LowePro, etc.etc. I have been fortunate to use so many different brands over the years. Backpacks & rolling hard cases. Each of these have their specific use cases depending on the assignment. So many wonderful choices for photographers. Love the Fujifilm gear.😊
@@fausto_vfx thank you! I love watches so much - it’s my second obsession after cameras - I just don’t wear the reps in my new videos because discussing cheap lenses while wearing a Patek is probably a bit tone deaf 🤣
Neat! Love having different “kits” for each type of photography. You’re one of the first photographers who are on YT doing club photography. Would love to see a video on it one day - the goal, how you monetize it, etc.
Thank you! The next video I’ve got in the works is actually related to club photography, how I do it, how to get better at it etc - I’ll definitely add in a point about monetization for it too!
3:22 I miss Shanghai Street in Melbourne! Great video, by the way. What was the reason for choosing the 50mm f/1.0 instead of the 56mm f/1.2? The 56mm f/1.2 is much more compact in terms of size compared to the 50mm f/1.0.
Thank you!! I have the 56 1.2 as well, I got the 1.0 to trial it out because I felt the older 1.2 was a bit sluggish to focus and I got a good price for it which made it similar in price to the newer 56 1.2 WR variant. I like the 50mm focal length more then 56, and the extra stop of aperture is also nice in dark environments to get the absolute most I can out of shooting in low light and there is something sorta cool about have “1.0” on the aperture ring! I find the 1.0 quite a bit sharper especially wide open and it has really beautiful character. I still love the old 56 1.2 as well though, I tend to use it a bit for video nowadays though.
They're heavy as hell but damn they're secure! It's also nice to be able to see all the gear you need laid out infront of you, helps when packing for or after a shoot because if there's an empty space in the box you get reminded you are forgetting something!
@@rudermanphoto aweosme so excited ...your channel has been great and inspiring.... I am currently a Sony shooter that would really love to switch to Fuji I'm just nervous
Thank you so much for the kind words! I think it all comes down to what you shoot, Fuji definitely has its issues but for my style of shooting I have made it work great, my old R6 was definitely better in extreme low light but I just love the way Fuji files look, the lenses and the handling of the cameras! It was a bit of a gamble moving everything over but it had all thankfully worked out very well. I’ll explain everything in the video though!

Thank you! It’s not real 😝 I still love it though haha

It’s the intro for me😂
Looks like I'm going to have to get a pelican case 🤷
