    How did you go about securing the barber chairs while driving?

    • @artofreduction
      @artofreduction  ปีที่แล้ว

      to be honest the barber chairs are not secured to anything. the weight of them keeps them in place. also we do not cut hair while driving. thank you for the question!

    Love your truck! Looks awesome. What are the dimensions of your truck? What would be the minimum dimensions for a two chair shop??

    • @artofreduction
      @artofreduction  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe the truck dimension of working space is roughly 12 feet by 6 feet. and we are still a bit crammed. Bigger is not better though there is too small.

      @@artofreduction Thank you!!! It looks a bit bigger on the video, maybe because of the camera lens 😄
      Great that you were able to fit two full stations in that space.
      Yes I understand what you mean about it being too small, especially with two barbers working and two clients in the chair.... But I completely agree with you that a two-chair setup is preferable to a single chair.
      I'm working on a plan for a mobile barbershop, and definitely want two chairs so I can rent one out to a freelance barber or another barber working as an employee

    Whats up bro.
    Im in the process of building my truck. What ac system are you running?

    • @artofreduction
      @artofreduction  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it is a standard top mount RV ac unit. 13,500 btu. does a great job here in Indiana. if you are in the south might recommend two of them. Thank you for watching

    very nice set up!!! how much income would you recommend (minimum) that I would need to start a Mobile Barbershop?

    • @artofreduction
      @artofreduction  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a hard question to answer, each build would be totally different depending the set up you decide to go with and how many options you put into the build. The real question would be how in demand are you in without a mobile shop. if you have a high demand i would say go for it. also try having meetings with places you could pull up to and park. so you have an idea on where you could make money. Since i own a brick and motor barbershop that is insured and has a licens, we were able to put the truck all under that. so just having a truck might be a little different. ask more questions if you need!

      I believe we went through progressive. Our laws in Indiana are very chill.

      Thank you for responding to that question. What type of insurance did you have to secure for it? @artofreduction

    About how much would you say total start up cost would be for something like this?

    • @artofreduction
      @artofreduction  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It truly all depends. We are about 45K - 50k into this build all together. We ran into so many problems with the truck. Needed new everything. Thats why I recommend buying a new truck with better bones. we still have made are money back and the money we made in marketing is even higher! wishing you the best!

    • @artofreduction

    How did you cut a window in the side?

    • @artofreduction
      @artofreduction  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The body is aluminum. Masure twice cut once with a saw and you can mount and fit the window like a normal house. apricate the comment.
