Thank you for this! Your descriptive explanations about emotions, thoughts, and the movements from chest voice to head voice truly helped.
    Sending love!

    Clear delivery,.
    one humble suggestion
an equal amount of spent with the tip of tongue to soft palette, noticing /moving the energy engaging the whole body
Chi/ lifeforce grows as a snowball grows when rolling downhill

I'm in school for the recording arts and i was curious as to how some voiceover artists are able to sound so smooth in recording. It wasn't the microphone, or the EQ, it was their voice that did the work.

YES! There is only so much you can do with a microphone and Eq The voice and the person present it most important!

Wow! Thank you for the mention Rebecca.
I do like the changes that you've implemented.
Less room echo for sure. I listened on headphones to remove my room ambience.
The background looks good too. No-one would know where you are.
(May I suggest that you tether your baby elephant outside when recording.)
(Use a good pair of headphones to see why. Not Dr. Beats - highly overrated and overpriced.)
Visualisation and self talk are very important.
I always generate positive messages to get myself 'in the zone.
Keep up the wonderful work and maybe you'd again consider sharing your self evaluation.
    Cheers,
    Murray in Melbourne.

yes .. the baby elephant was my son unexpectedly coming in ... I redid it a few more times, but this one the lighting and the charisma came out the best ... I tell you, Life with two boys while building a business is an interesting feat LOL Always on the run .. hence getting it "just right" for now will have to wait. The one thing I have had to learn with parenting my boys and it applies to my whole life is the term "Good enough" It has helped me take a lot of self judgment out of my life and it keeps me willing to keep participating and trying. I hope to do next Thursday's video with my baby elephants at school! ;)

Wow, that was indeed an effort on your part. The lighting is much softer on your face this time compared to last where it was washing you out. And as I mentioned, the sound reflections have reduced significantly.
My voice coach suggested I take up voiceover. He seems to believe I have a lot of potential for it. Maybe...I'll do the seminar in February to get some ideas on the local situation. In the meantime, I'll practice with my Zoom H4 recorder. It's been a great tool.
Sadly so many things in life, recording, electronics and technology are a compromise as are relationships.
Keep up your good work as I for one definitely appreciate it.
Here's to the coming week as I enjoy a restful Sunday afternoon.
      Murray
