As someone from Vancouver, the poutine shots are golden - miss them so much! But I would definitely suggest you to visit YVR if you want to chill. Spend a whole day at Granville Island or Steveston, that's the common idea of what Canada is like for Hong Kong people. And for signature Canadian food? It's pho. Lol ask anyone who grew up there, that's our Canadian comfort food.
Toronto was a place to chill comparing to Asian cities like thirty years ago. It seems like still a great city for new immigrants, though to me … I am stressed out
