Stopped at barmouth 2 weeks ago in a b&b, absolutely loved it, amazing views from footpath up behind barmouth ( up the mountain) keep up the amazing videos, been watching from the start... always entertaining 🙌
Hippies and bohemian style tend to go to charity shops and buy quality stuff at a fraction of new price I example i bought a Ben sher man shirt today 4 quid next quilt cover 3 quid and several weeks ago from Holmfirth a 1960 s crombie coat all as new and smelling beautiful mazzy
loved this vlog guys. A bit of everything. It's been years since I went to Barmouth. Back then I went with my mum and as we parked up with the van, we spotted loads of people dressed up like cartoon characters walking round the town. later we went to the chippy by the the train station and there was Superman, spiderman, Batman and a guy with a scream outfit on all queuing up to buy their fish and chips. I took a photo of them and posted it on my camera forum with the title "even superheroes need a holiday" and won banner of the week for it. That scone was that big it could feed four for a week. Hopefully the guy hovering round your van wasnt a mugger in waiting. Thanks for another great video and geat humour. Regards , Kenny
Brilliant video. I love Barmouth. I was there a few weeks ago with my mom. We had our dinner in the car park with the sea view in my van. Love all the shops you went to. I Wanted to buy loads. And the paintings Dan liked are Janet bell. I love her paintings. She did a couple of campervan ones which are my fav, and I got them from that shop to. Carry on enjoying wales guys.
Enjoyed your walk around Barmouth. You guys give a great and detailed tour of all the places you visit! It’s an education for someone like me who hasn’t visited many places in England.I’ve been to a few auctions. The golden rule is don’t scratch your head , or you could be bidding for something you don’t even want to buy! Anything to do with hippies is cool. Far out, man! On guard Dan, the guy walking around outside your motor home, could be loitering with the intent to steal Mazzy, a serious crime! Stay safe and well.😀🚐👍
Barmouth looked like a wonderful little place, I have only ever driven through on the way up to the Lleyn Peninsula, must stop next time and have a look around. That scone was massive!!
Enjoyed the vlog brings back memories, I was so lucky years ago I would go to barmouth 3days a week all year round with my job and love the people and the place. Don't go to barmouth now much, I agree with both of you I still get that buzz when I go back there.

Good to see Barmouth again, after about 25yrs we camped at Hendra Mynach site, but don't remember the town that well. We walked across the viaduct & remember seeing literally 100's of jelly fish. I think you'll enjoy Snowdonia area👍
There a great cycle track to Barmouth too from another village. Great town, I live near Llandudno so not too far to visit. Glad you enjoyed your trip, fun to watch.
Pop to Rhyl or Llandudno one day next week. Barmouth is nice but it is not wheelchair friendly. We were there last year.☹ Beach and sea is nice in Barmouth. Rhyl has change quite a bit. It is BAR MOUTH

You said you’re in Porthmadog now from Porthmadog you can go on the Welsh Highland rail way up to Carmarthen and then come back that’s what I did it’s absolutely beautiful it is a really nice run and the scenery is beautiful Another really nice place is Port Marion it’s a little Welsh village that is really nice to go and see

Portmeirion is a must see attraction not far from Porthmadog it’s where the Prisoner was filmed in the late 60s such a beautiful place that should only be visited on a sunny day to fully appreciate it.
Near Porthmadog is Port Meirion, you two probably won't know it but there was a tv series called The Prisoner starring Patrick McGoohan, it was filmed there. If you manage to find a Cadwalader's ice cream shop you need to try it, my dad always got us ice cream from there when we where kids and it was so good.

With shops etc you visit that play music, surely you can still film but when you edit the video you can cut the music out & talk over what we are seeing? That way we get to see more of what you’ve seen.
We obviously went to Barmouth at the wrong time of year [April], as we thought it was crap! Nothing much open apart from a couple of cafes. Lot of empty shops and generally very run down. Glad it seems to have improved. Mazzie, I love how you are wearing your hair now. No fringe really suits you x
Can,t believe you went to Barmouth in the summer and it was so empty. There is usually no where to park nose to tail main road through half an hour to an hour waiting for food if you sit in and everyone has a West Midland accent. Being long term motorhomers we find to get round park up on site and have a car or motorbike Wales is not really motorhome friendly but having lived there for the last twenty five years the rise in traffic has been massive. Best places to go in Wales IMO are Pembrokeshire and The Llyn as well as Anglesey but that is slowly choking under its popularity.

Shell Island is nice for campers just North a bit (it was about 20years ago when I last went)
