On Pubmed there are numerous studies on botanical oils indeed!!!!! Plus when you formulate your supplier has to provide an MSDS sheet and other technical documents with the breakdown of omegas for each oil, they had to pay for lab analysis!!!!!!??
Hindsight is 20/20! I wish I had known all of this before I tried Good Genes and the Luna Oil (along with the CEO Glow, CEO Vit C Serum, and Tidal Cream) a few months ago. I bought into the hype and my sensitive, oily skin paid the price. The products that everyone raved about either made my skin feel like it was on fire or super oily! I had to stop everything and get back to the basics to allow my skin barrier to heal. Thanks to Dr. V, I now know what to look for in the products that I choose, no matter how they’re marketed. 🧐 Thanks so much Dr. V! You’ve been a lifesaver for my skin and my wallet! 😉❤️

And I totally agree with on the Auto Corrector, which is the only product that I have yet to see any result on and I have been using it for over 3 months. I don't think I will be buying it again.

Pls can you investigate the dark spot corrector solution? Many of us use this to treat melasma, but not sure it’s totally suitable. I find it works quite quickly but not sure about long-term suitability. Can you pls also investigate the Revive range? I use the hero glycolic acid cream but obvs not sure about that now for my skin...is your advice suitable for all brown/black skin? Thank you so much for your content. Truly life-changing when considering ingredients for specifically skin of color. What would your recommendation be for laser post-inflammatory pigmentation? I had lasered surgical scars before discovering ur channel and the scar tissue improved but the skin around it became significantly darker.
This helped me out immensely!! My wonderful baby cousin gifted me so many Sunday Riley products to test out because I've always thought they were too expensive to just try on a whim. So far, I've used the CEO serum, CEO moisturizer, Auto Correct eye cream, and sulfur mask. I only enjoyed the sulfur mask and vitamin c serum. Would never buy any of the other products but because it's so expensive, I'm obligated to finish them and deal with the consequences later. Back to K beauty I go without added fragrance or aggressive actives.

So thank you for shining the light on what now seems so obvious lol. 2 questions. Dr. Gross' Spectralite Faceware Pro LED mask, will POC benefit from using it for hyperpigmentation? I've used it and it definitely works for acne. Next, you mentioned using a charcoal mask as part of your weekly routine. Is there any in particular you would recommend? Peel off vs. rinse off? Ingredients that we should avoid in a charcoal mask? Ingredients we should look for? Oh one more question, if we are going to be doing both the eye care serum routine for dark circles and the skin care serum routine, should we do the eye serums first then move onto the skin or should they be interspersed allowing time for the eye serum to set while doing the face serum then going back to the eye while the face serum sets etc etc?

My skin feels smoother. Also using the cerave. Have been using the colorscience as sunscreen instead of chemical sunscreen which I found on the face was irritating as I pigment easily. I am brown and I love glycolic Acid (TO 7% toning solution) and my mother has a darker skin tone than mine and this toner helped lighten up her acne scars and evened out her skin tone. It never irritated our skin. I’d really like to see some scientific backing or some references for the claims you make about the ingredients that are completely fine for white people but are not good for POC so that I can learn better about what exactly they do to our skin specifically before it turns into an uneducated fear mongering thanks
Have you since then stopped using glycolic acid? I also find it useful for hyperpigmentation than other AHAs but now don’t know what to do 😂 any advice appreciated I’m fair skin East Asian but with some dark spots driving me mad 😢 thanks

I’d really like to see some scientific backing or some references for the claims you make about the ingredients that are completely fine for white people but are not good for POC so that I can learn better about what exactly they do to our skin specifically before it turns into an uneducated fear mongering thanks

Have you since then stopped using glycolic acid? I also find it useful for hyperpigmentation than other AHAs but now don’t know what to do 😂 any advice appreciated I’m fair skin East Asian but with some dark spots driving me mad 😢 thanks
