He’s older, has a family, partially helps with Se7en race wear, and lost the love of racing when he wasn’t a championship contender and winning. If he wasn’t winning he wasn’t having fun. Also, the WADA bullshit where he failed a UA for his prescription. Hopefully he does some one-off races like 125 Allstars or Redbull Straight Rythm, like someone else mentioned. @hencetirta

FooBar Maximus I remember James when he 1st started doing the Bubba scrub and my jaw dropped like what the hell ! Definitely amazing always enjoyed and still look for James Stewart vids and watch them. There is no one still to this day that is as entertaining as James was to watch ride and race imo!

I remember watching a 96 Mini O Sx race with you up on a motor home when you were winning 80's. I was running Thrill Seeking Threads/TST and you kindly liked wearing a few. I remember you had a great sense of humor then! Definitely cracked me up. But your take on these races feels so Florida OG! So refreshing and fun to hear someone so transparent and genuine keeping it as real and interesting as you just did breaking down St Louis! Your one liners are hilarious! Like A1 "Long hair don't care" and both mentioning neck burn and suntan from the torches... Who other than the winner or close second ever gets to know that feeling???? That puts a unique perspective on winning those Sx races! I'm so happy to see you being you and your genuine smile and good heart you've always had is flowing! Tell your familly hi, and hi to #259 Tony Haynes... I hope he's good, and I still think about him and his brothers and dad. Maybe I'll see some of yall at Tpa Sx???
Great introspective! People say he's so much nicer or "realer" now. But fact is, he's not. He was just as real when he raced and won championships, some just didn't want to acknowledge it

This is so cool. I remember hearing back in 2002 people were talking about james as a kid would study supercross videos and break down racing craft, and they were talking about how he would say a certain section during track walk would remind him of a certain track but 10 years ago. Like he had studied and memorized that far back. Now here we are inside that mind. Love him or hate him he is a brilliant racer.
