Premix Utah It’s a 450. There is no room to rev it on that track.
@@nestserau Sure there is. You can leave it in 1st and second gear and wind it out, but there is no use for 65hp on these tracks. It is the same reason why 500cc MX bikes were pulled off the SX tracks in the 80's. The 450's today actually make more power than the 500cc MX bikes. But what I find really interesting in the 4-stroke era, is the fact that the 250's are usually faster than the 450's on the national tracks. It looks like the 250 is actually the better bike indoors and out.

Yes, its a requirement by AMA, and as a sport we insist you make way for the men who have a shot at a podium. The fans wouldn't forgive a rider for interfering in a podium battle.
Justin Bogle is the guy who waved Roczen by, and he's a class act. He was winning his heat race that night and slipped in a turn.
Hes actually my favorite rider.

I didnt hear leigh or ricky once mention his quad-triple-triple line in the broadcast, it is mind boggling how much faster that line was, he closed up the entirety of zacho's lead on him just in that section. Sometimes it is just your weekend i guess, kenny was flying and definitely deserved this one.
Him and tomac looked like the only ones doing it.
It was the only part of the track were a racer can go faster than another racer. It is too bad the only thing on the track that separates the talent is the biggest jump, if you have the nads to do it. It was worth about a half a second.

It is easy for them. They have been racing the same tracks for a decade now. It is like learning a new song on a guitar, you should have it wired in a decade.

It's crazy how much the perspective changes. From track walk. To getting on the bike and riding it. And then seeing it through a go pro. Nothing does this sport justice until you try to ride yourself.

Yeah, i was there in person and just happened to look for Roczen on the track when he did that. Good to see him getting out of the way unlike some people do..
Pretty much a rule when your that far behind lol
He did it, because the defending of a position costs a lot of time. If you know, you can't beat the guy behind you until the end of the race, you usually let them overtake you. It's win/ win for both riders. It's an universal unwritten rule in all kinds of motorsports :-)

I didn't realize how good the new GoPro's camera stabilization was until I watched these new motocross videos and then went and watched some older JS7 videos. Man those old ones are almost unwatchable due to how shaky they are compared to these new ones!
His line through that rhythm section was so sick..quad over the table and triple triple out he made up huge time doing that

he was stretching his lead every lap on that rhythm section getting over that table "quad" being able to 3 , 3 on the way out before the 1st of the big doubles across the finish line , that's, where he won this race, in that section
Yep. Even thought the tracks are ill-designed to keep everybody the same speed, there can be one individual, (Eli did it a few times too), that can put a 60mph jump section together to actually be able to pull away from the others. 16 laps jumping it, .5 second each time,--yea, he won by 8 seconds.

The 450's have so much low-end grunt that you don't need to. You hear it more with the 250's. Well, unless we're talking about Barcia..
