What is Celecoxib ( Celebrex )?
Celecoxib is a Antiinflammatory, analgesic, COX-2 inhibitor. It works by inhibiting chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, fever, and pain. This is caused by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, primarily via inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) isoenzyme.
It is available as 100 and 200 mg capsules.
It is used in the relief of symptoms of osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis in adults, and used in management of acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea..

I started 200 mg per day of this medication two days ago for arthritis in my left hip. I had severe difficulty walking. Today I'm walking much better and without the assistance of a cane. Great medication...take as directed and enjoy freedom from pain.

I broke my hand and his medicine helped a lot to ease the pain before and after the surgery.
I had an acute pain on the left side on my waist & proceeding to the front just below my breast.
I had difficulty walking & couldn't turn to sleep on any side. I've prescribed celebrex 200mg and
Ranclav 1000mg.
In 3days I'm sleeping &turning on both sides and walking with ease.
Even the sweat is gone.
OmG what a relief.
But its not treating the issue it is only masking the pain.

Im using this now as doctors prescribed because my back is hurting cause of poor posture and it hurts when lying down.. so I hope this works

I experienced it too, and it works for me. I take it once daily for seven days. But the my doctor prescribed to me celebrex 400g.
I had a good sleep the first I used it. So far so good.
If I'm taking losartan can I take celecoxib for my arthritis?
