    #1 - 0:17 - if you're NOT a noob (brand new rider)
    #2 - 0:49 - if you're not comfortable working on a carb. (carburetor)
    #3 - 1:19 - if you're a larger person (max weight: 385 lbs.)
    #4 - 1:58 - if you expect to go "fast" (over 45+ mph)
    #5 - 2:27 - if you want effective stopping power (no ABS, no disc brakes. has drum brakes)
    my PROS:
    - 110cc
    - faster than a Ruckus (50cc)
    - very fun!
    - good for beginners
    - good for zipping around town
    - cheap! ($1800 MSRP)
    - looks like a mini sport motorcycle, but it's a scooter
    - no clutch

    Got a Navi and I love it. Great first time bike. I am 215 lbs and cruise at 50 mph. It did start to open up more arpund 300 miles and now I've topped out at 55 mph. My wife rides with me sometimes. Our total combined weight is 330. We cruise at 45 mph and top out at 50. It is a way more capable bike than I thought it would be.

    I was looking at the Navi as perfect smaller bike for going around town, but I ended up going the electric unicycle route. Top speed is 45mph and I can take it indoors shopping. Leaving the Navi outside all the time was my biggest fear. Too many bike thefts in my area.

    • @carrickdubya4765
      @carrickdubya4765 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I would worry about theft at under 300 Lbs but I am so surprised it weighs that much for how little you get. For example many full size sport bikes that have 600-1000cc, oodles of electronics, ABS, etc can weigh only 100 Lbs more than the NAVI. So what is wrong with this picture? Are they made of lead?

    • @geraldscott4302
      @geraldscott4302 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have both a beater scooter and a beater car for doing all my commuting with. I would NEVER park a nice bike or car in a parking lot unprotected. Beater vehicles do not get noticed by thieves or vandals, and if they do incur some slight damage, it's no big deal. I have a couple of really nice vintage cars and 5 restored vintage bikes (I despise modern computerized vehicles) but they are not used for ordinary transportation.

    Took an msf course on a grom last year and passed. As much as I love the Grom, I’m not a fan of shifting. Did TONS of research and sat on tons of bikes. Long story short, ended up getting a navi. Interesting fact is, when i first saw the navi online, it inspired me to learn how to ride. Though i could have taken the course on a scooter, I still chose to learn on a manual to open up buying options. Slim pickings in automatic bike world especially if you’re 5’6 like me cuz I’m not fitting on the African twin lol
    Waiting on the weather to get warmer here so i can start practicing what i learned. Navi is a nice low risk investment for newb’s to see if motorcycling is for them. Some people reading this may have a problem w/ that statement b/c this bike is ‘basic’ however the advice given to me that is frequently given to others is ‘start on something small then go bigger’.
    For me I was very comfortable w/ the weight of the grom and that’s one factor i sought in a bike - low weight. The navi is the closest i could get to that. Fingers crossed i like it. Waiting on winter to leave

    What's so crazy is the amount of compliments I get on my Navi. I don't care about my personal image on a bike. I just wanted something to ride around my down and neighboring towns, because there are sub 50mph roads to get anywhere here. But I thought for sure I'd get made fun of riding the Navi. Instead everyone freaking loves the little thing. Bikers wave at me. I've had multiple large street bike riders ask me about it because they are looking for something they can wring out around town, rather than basically drift about on a bike that is way too powerful to open up in town. I'm literally the only Navi riding around where I live, so it's met with fascination and curiosity everywhere I go, LOL!

My cars have ABS now, but I’ve never owned a bike with ABS. So again, it’s not something that worries me. Seat heights, well, they’re about the same, However, the Navi has a longer wheelbase than either the Super Cub or Grom. I tested one at the dealer, and I’m 6’2” and felt ok on the little bike. Unfortunately there was no Super Cub in the showroom. The price is right, that’s for sure. Maybe next year 🤷‍♂️

    I'm not complaining about You, It's a very normal thing apparently to think this. There are millions and I would assume more millions of people out there that believe the top speed shown on a speedometer has anything very much to do with the top speed of that vehicle is all to do with manufacturers wants. And they want us to want that vehicle I remember when I was younger. I kind of assumed the vehicle would do those I haven't ever said that I don't think they would put it on there if it wouldn't do it. Unfathomable. Thank you so very much for the big video I wanted to find a video with a good girl so I could send to my daughbecause. Maybe she might pay a little more attention.
    Not be quite skeptiCal. See that there are normal women and girls the ride motorcycles. I even saw A video with a girl showing up showing us how to clean a chain. Now I need to start cleaning mind, thank you again..
    P. S. Seems to me that blue navy on the right. Doesn't have that very strange, gromlike Angular lines and hole in the side of the gas tank area. I am going to have to find out about that blue different style, I'll get some glasses.
