I am planning to do masters in cs, I have interest in software architechure. how is pilani campus in this domain...what campus would you suggest being in software branch yourself for learning it among the three bits campus?
You specifically mention software architecture. That's one of the subjects necessary in SS. In CS it's not a compulsory subject. And I would say hyderabad campus is better.
Just prepare yourself for many C questions and some CS questions. Aptitude, math and English are compulsory and I think you should also appear for CS along with SS.

I guess you are eligible but still I would recommend that you check with the admissions office.

I’m 99% sure you are eligible because in gate you have the paper called “cs/it” and gate is also a way to get into bits.

Apart from C, it is mostly gate syllabus + object oriented programming principles
