Yeah he really is, but in my opinion is it real magic when they play/sing altogether.

I stumbled upon Ren Gill and also The Big Push just recently and am blown away by them. At age 64 I'm learning so much about my own musicianship from these guys.

I love this performance, they all shine through and are so talented. You were right when you said no one sounds like Ren, I think his vocals on this are just out of this world amazing. I've lived in Brighton all my life and proud to be a Brightonian. Ren is reps my home town like a boss. He's just one of many talented performers to come from the city, we're known for it and I could reel off a list of mega talented musicians but Ren may be the most unique individual of them all! So so talented, my god.

You need to look up Ren's story (first singer), it's really phenomenal. The guy has lived through some heath issue hell. "The Ren" just released 12/15/22 is really a piece of pure creativity and genius.

They are from Brighten England. The Big Push has 4 members; Ren, Romain Axisa, Glen Chambers & Gorran Kendall. They all write & will play different instruments (switch) according to what song they are playing. They have 2 albums, 1) Can Do Will Do & 2) The Busking Sessions. 🤟❗
P.S. The Nina Simone song, which was from 1960, was Trouble in Mind.
If anyone reads this, I hope that you also check out Ms. Simone, she was a musician's musician, by which I mean, Nina was the kind of gifted individual that other musicians would be most likely to have in their music collection.
Another example would be Ray Charles.

Just caught this in my feed. You have to check out Ren: Hi Ren. Ren was playing bass in this one. Man, its a must to check out Ren's new stuff. Hi Ren is amazing!
Ren & Sam Tompkins first caught my eye back in 2018 with their original live version of their song Blind Eyed. Listened to it 6 times in a row, and have remained a loyal fan of everything Ren has done since that day. The Big Push is phenomenal, as you can clearly see. You can't go wrong with any performance they've put out there, and I so hope to see them live here in the States one day (obviously, they put on a helluva show).
But I still go back to Blind Eyed, most of all.

there are so many more songs and amazing covers that the big push does, id love to see more reactions from you from them, some of my favorite are, Bongo bong, English man in new york, i shot the sheriff ( the version where he wears the red suspenders) as for Ren himself........if you haven't fallen down the Ren- rabbit hole oh your in for a treat, im think this man can do and play and sing just about everything, in any genre in any accent or character not to mention his acting abilities in his one take originals like the tale of jenny and screech, or money game part 3 and his live duet with chinchilla singing chalk outlines, a gut punch of emotions and beauty

Baring your soul is what Ren does in many genres and instruments.Ren is playing solo right now and is making it big! all the musicians are still producing indavidually as Ren has been getting treatment in Canada for the last 12mths.

Had the absolute pleasure seeing them live March 2020....phenomenal, Ren is an outstanding musician & so versatile. As well as The Big Push he also duets with Sam Tompkins, Chinchilla & does solo stuff including rap.

I am loving finding all these old reactions to Ren, The Big Push and Sam Tompkins! Surprising how many there are! I wasn't watching reactors or looking here for music until lockdown, so I only just heard of them last month. Boy, I was missing out.
I wish I had this guy as my music teacher when I was younger. Probably my favorite youtube channel at the moment
