Mike, what was your first experience in drawing or using digital art programs? And what were some important lessons and stepping stones you took to go from beginner to veteran with caps lock always on?
LOL great comment. I would definitely NOT call myself a vet when it comes to digital drawing I've actually resorted back to pencil and paper for my sketches but here's what I will say, you need to regrow your muscle memory for digital. There are small things like paper textured nibs or covers etc that make it feel more 1:1 but it is not the same. The dissonance between screen and stylus can feel very jarring. Also for caps lock don't take short cuts. always hold shift with your pinky... hope this helps
@@MIKESUNDAY I've never found much success drawing younger, how does one outgrow their old techniques and habits that came from being indifferent about the process? Ie, "I don't care enough about drawing to do a good job, just let me finish this school assignment, to making the decision at 22 to take it really seriously?"
