Garden idea! A sad lonely little palm type tree that feels very out of place. I live where it’s cold & rainy, and I’m always surprised when modern builds have palm trees transplanted in their front yards. After a year or two they often get ripped out because they don’t survive well in our climate.
I'm seeing a sad beige kid's room, the most sparsely 'planted' garden, so many kitchen appliances on not enough counter space, TV waaay above the fireplace, and mismatched wood tones all over. It will be.. well horrifying to watch but you're delightful to hang out with so we end up ahead.
As the reply under yours said, he did do a cc free version of that horrible interior already but, if he was going for Cc I’d love it too! PlatinumLuxeSims does a set that matches this style. It’s so good because it’s maxis mix, but also just beautifully made. Is it my style? Nope! Does it belong in my game? Yes! Didn’t download the crushed velvet though, that was one step too far!
I know you already did the floor plan but hear me out, a + shaped bathroom where 1 prong is the entrance, one is the sink, one is the toilet, and one is the shower. All only lit with floor lights. Thank you.
Oh I feel this place. We need a small pool. So small that you can't swim in it. But it won't be a jacuzzi or anything like that. Just a pool. We also need a garden with multi-colored gravel and lots of different cacti for no reason other than Karen doesn't like mowing her lawn. 👹🙈🙉🙊
I’d love to see those window frames match the terracotta tile roof, the floor lighting carry on from the front garden into the foyer, and one room completely washed in millennial grey with a sad clown for its only “pop of color.” Meanwhile, the back garden could richly benefit from a splashy giant telescope, slip-and-slide, and flamingos.
The garden would have the tiniest pool just for them to able to brag about having a one. Definitely SMEG appliances everywhere in the kitchen! The way I can imagine the people living here... Awful Aden! :D

I have neighbors who added a garden across the street on public property at the corner. They're a close-knit couple and he did her bidding. The area became populated little by little, more and more, with garden decor that has very little to do with gardening and nature, and not even interesting like a whirligig or something: gnomes, ceramic flowers, that kind of thing, strewn all along the path. It was a garden of torture with a bench under a lamppost placed prominently facing the street encouraging all to bask in its glory. Ten years on I am glad to see it has all gone back to nature. It's so hard to build something that goes against the grain. Kudos, or maybe some kipper snacks, to you. Best of luck 🏡

I think the kitchen should b over cluttered with kitchen ware, bathrooms should b stark white and over mirrored, the indoor sunroom in the back of the house should b over grown with plants, bedrooms should have the most ugly bedding and matching dressers, each in their own swatch 🤢, dinning room should b a big island with barstools and walls cluttered with chinaware 😂 make sure u use light switches in each room..... one thing i CANNOT stand is when a 100+y old home is "updated" with all kinds of cr**p! It breaks my heart to know all the original hardwoods and trims etc have been painted over or replaced with modern stuff. I absolutely HATE IT! So I feel you on that one.

There's what was once a lovely brick victorian house on a street near where I live, where the owners stripped everything off, including the roof, painted it grey (with the wrong kind of paint, so it's peeling all over) and slapped on a silvery-grey square, overhanging the top right corner. The only other notable detail is a charming oval window by the door, left from the original house. It looks like a monolith with a growth, and is such an eyesore on an otherwise beautiful street. My partner and I rant about it every time we walk by. The other day, we went by and saw they'd got a cybertruck and we were howling about it, because of COURSE these people would get a cybertruck. Never seen a match made more in hell.
Can’t wait to see the interior, when you said “garish” it made me think of my cousin family house. All money and no taste in whatsoever, nothing in their house matches but it’s always the most expensive stuff (with mediocre craftsmanship that doesn’t worth the price tag)

As a person who went to architecture school, I am shocked and appalled by this floor plan. Oddly enough, the exterior doesn't bother me as much 😭😭😭 I would at least one "bedroom" is a tacky movie theatre, my favorite McMansion room type
This is such a fun build! 😆 I do think if you want to build a nightmare house, you should ensure the bathroom is the furthest room from the bedroom(s) - like, on a completely different floor even, maybe a basement?
That roof reminds me of auto roof feature in sims 3 😅 There is a house nearby that has recently been done like this and they put tarmac over the brick and grass garden and then added potted plants in the corners of the garden and I kid you not those exact lights I think we take inspiration from them and do some tall ball hedges in plant pots you be know cuz that’s what says garden

Oh dear god I actually covered my eyes through this build haha 😅 I envision some TH-cam mum living here who does like make up but bad make up tutorials and the dad is some sort of big gym guy, they also have a little "herb" garden in the back, there kids have weird spelled names and the probably have a chihuahua as well.
Now, after reading the comments, I think you are going to have to make the family that lives here too! 🤣 You know you must! 😂 They will be icons in the Bumpkin lore! 😛
I hate it so much I'm starting to love it. When you moved the l.e.d. strips and the did the reveal, I laughed out loud. I would never buy a house like that or even renovate one to look like that but it's so bad its good. Maybe they have a theme in the downstairs bathroom? Like those pictures you see of these extravagant mansions and they have a powder room that is bird or jungle themed with garish wallpaper. I don't have many packs but I know there's a sink in Get Famous maybe that is like a gold swan that would be funny. An older rich man with kids that's divorced but remarried a younger woman with ostentatious taste. He only gets the kids every 3rd weekend. Or something like that.
It looks like a disco night club on steroids and it's the funniest build ever that looks silly. I'm laughing my head off right now cause I can't control myself

This house is definitely owned by a greedy landlord ....it screams "LANDLORDS DREAM HOUSE" 😂because they can fill each room even the store room with beds and charge extortionate amounts of money to rent it out. Before you know hes super rich and we all cry 😢😢..omg 😂
I think you should have left the giant ugly fountain in the front yard, the one you used isn’t ugly enough. Also maybe some random mismatched windows? Lol. I live in the area of california where McMansions first started, I’ve seen everything. It could probably use an underground garage with an automatic iron gate across the front (where the garage door would be). What about security bars on the windows? Lol 😊.
I admit, first house you have done that I wasn´t so excited about adding to my save file ;P The only nightmarish thing I can think of for a garden is putting a row of trees all the way around the fence line so that no one can see in or out.... got neighbor who has that 2 houses down and the neighbor next door to me just cut then all down to fence line last week 👉 👀

It definitely does need a hot tub and a very bougie outdoor kitchen area.
This feels like a house that would have a hottub and an outdoor bar to be honest. Also no flowers, just uniformly trimmed square hedges if anything.
You should remodel this after it’s created!
