    In this lesson, students play charades to practice acting out verbs. Students draw a picture card and preform the action for the rest of the class. As part of the game, the students also use the verb in a sentence.

      Thank you so much for watching. We share knowledge between people, so hopefully some other community members may comment ideas to help. Sometimes we have also made our own cards for the games in our videos. :)

    Terrible display behind you - Far too high for the children in your class, and bought, not made by the children themselves- Oooops!

      WOW i am truly astounded by the sheer stupidity of this comment. This woman made a helpful video about learning verbs and that’s what you took away from it? What an awful, negative person you must be. How are you operating in life like that? Even if you felt so compelled to critique her background of all things at least do it in a respectful and constructive way.

      @@theblushfaerie That's all part of the teaching, and if you've never been one, then try thinking before commenting. Her video is not helpful if her setting is completely useless. My comment is respectful, in a way that her video is not (no online education will ever be useful, by the way). She may as well have made a nice, cute American film about Aliens set in Walmart (Sorry for the disrespect if you work in Walmart).

    sorry but i'm a teacher not an entertainer...it's a sad state of affairs when children can learn only through games..attention span is so low..i blame the parents for feeding a stupid diet.

    • @tamara_m.
      @tamara_m. 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's has absolutely nothing to do with diet. And I'm sure their attention spam is just normal. They're KIDS for God's sake, not college students. They've just been introduced to life . Everything's pretty new to them.

      as a speech therapist, i can tell you that kids not only learn quicker through natural play schemes such as games, songs, books, etc. but they are also more likely to retain the knowledge because of the way in which they are activating certain parts of their brain. there are my studies done on this. maybe you should educate yourself 🤷🏼‍♀️ im concerned for your students. the world needs more compassionate and educated teachers
