It's not the first time Hollywood hires actors that are obviously adults to play teenagers. And it's a bit frustrating because I used to watch these as a kid and then, when I actually got to be a teenager, I looked much younger and so did everyone around me and I thought ”What the hell?”
Anyway, ”Everything Sucks!” is a really cool teenage show on Netflix and guess what? It has actual teenagers play teenagers (besides two characters which can pass).

Weed is OK. It's safer and healthier doing other drugs that are like cocaine or heroine on the other hand... If there is going to be another stoner movie I hope it teaches people to be safe and informed when they do weed and to break the stigma against weed.

@@JeffreyLeeBlake That's a fair question. Mostly it is just that it sounds like the sort of self-deprecating line a man would write to score points with women. If a woman wrote that line, then she sounds very self-promoting and that feels less likely. It's not the sort of line I or any of the women writers I know would write (though part of that could be regional, as I'm Canadian). And also even today I think most professional writers are men, so just statistically speaking it's more likely a man. Maybe 95% is a bit of an exaggeration, but that's just my perspective. I even asked my brother just now who is also a writer, and he says, "That sounds like the sort of thing a man would write to make women feel empowered, to stroke a woman's ego."

We finally get a girl stoner coming of age stoner movie, eat your heart out Seth Rogan, like the genre was tapped into in the early 2000s with the Seth Rogan and crew collection and now the girls are here for a shitty coming of age comedy!!
